The Home Depot Rental Center at Beavercreek

Jump into your DIY project with confidence and the best tools. Let The Home Depot Beavercreek Tool Rental Center expand your toolbox with the tools you don't have at home. Rent a tool and bring it back after you've completed the project. If it turns out the rental tools would be more useful than you thought, ask about purchasing used tools. Compared to the new items on our store shelves, they're discounted.

Tame the Lawn and Bushes Early
Greet the spring with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a lawn mower and leaf blower, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw, and the driveway and sidewalks with a pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be looking fresh and ready for new spring flowers in no time.

A Comfortable Workspace is a Productive One
Get ahead of summer heat by prepping in the springtime. We've got ways to help keep your workspace comfortable and cool so you can get more done. We have generators to run fans, rental air conditioners, and all your large power tools.

Load 'N Go Trucks
If you're looking to rent a large tool but don't have a way to get it home, let us help with that too. Check out our Load 'N Go rentals and rent a truck. Avoid taking up driveway space with an old pickup truck for the rare occasion of hauling items. Just rent a moving truck when you need it and keep your driveway open for hopscotch, grilling, or a round of hoops.

How do I rent a truck or tool?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what's available. If you want confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You could also visit our truck rental or tool rental pages to see if what you need is available at your local store. For more information on renting tools, read the Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.

Can I rent a tool for an hour?

You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and long-term projects can also be accomodated. You've got options to rent tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I bring the tools back?

You can return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call your local rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.

How long can I rent a truck?

Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on how long your project is. Don't forget to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract before choosing a truck.

Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Make a note of the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that level. When you don't refill the rental vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
