Can I rent tools by the hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and bigger jobs can also be accomodated. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any grime and dust from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a few hours?
Rent a pickup truck, van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you must bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Make a note of the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the rental truck, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too.
