How do I rent a tool?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what's available. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or visit our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your local store. If it's not, try another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool is available. Can I rent a tool for a day?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement projects may only require a short rental period, and major projects aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with power saw rentals?
Yes, power saw rentals typically come with blades, but we recommend that you purchase a new one. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, purchase a suitable blade, just in case.
