Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools you can rent. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your local store. If it's not, try another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to find where that tool may be available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement jobs may only require a short rental period, and bigger jobs are no problem. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do wet saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we recommend that you buy a new one. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you may luck out and receive an excellent blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, purchase a suitable blade, just in case.
