Beautiful Granite Counter top
To my surprise, this is real granite! It comes with a backsplash and sink bowl too!
The granite gives a very high end feel to our bathroom. We installed the counter on top of a 48" Auburn vanity. What a great look! The counter has holes predrilled for 8" faucets, which is great for us. Due to the larger size of the counter top, the 8" faucet looks great and fills in wonderfully. Our old counter had a 4" faucet, which looks small - the 8" is much better.

installation is highly recommended! The rectangular sink bowl is nice. It gives the counter a modern feel and fits well with the vanity.
Everything installed easily and went right into place. I pre-installed the faucet, before installing the counter top. After dropping the counter top in place, I secured it to the cabinet, then hooked up the supply hoses (already installed on the faucet side), then installed the drain and trap. I used a push button type drain stopper, so I didn't have to install the rod and ball type stopper.
I noticed that the sink bowl does not have an overflow. In the past, I've left the water running with the stopper down, so I'm a little concerned that we could do some damage to the floor if someone forgets. We'll just need to be more attentive.
Overall, the installation went great. The new vanity, granite counter top and faucet make our old bathroom look phenomenal! I did have to order a side piece, which doesn't match perfectly, so I didn't install it yet. I'm going to go hunting for a better match at the stone yards here in town. The only problem is that the counter is installed, so I don't have an exact sample to bring. I'm planning to bring the unmatched piece and say that I need one a little lighter in color, with a hint more dark brown. As you can see, this will be interesting.
