This product can be formed into a multitude of shapes.
Great product, no lumps or hard areas in the portland, plus wife is still able to lift one bag at a time which helps me a lot.

    Used to make concret
I used this product & a 1/3 yard power mixer to mix concrete for a garage floor. I used the 1-2-3 ratio but it was to much gravel for what I was after (also depends on your gravel size I used small P gravel) I changed to a 1-2-2 mix (1-part Cement 2 -parts play Sand 2-parts P-Gravel by volume) and it was very easy to work and trowel to get a good finish my forms were 3'x6' 4" deep. For a DIY person the MAIN & MOST important thing to watch is the amount of water. A VERY small amount will give a ... read more good mix (it will look dry and crumbly) but once worked it turns out perfect. I used this over 5 years ago and it still looks new-No cracks, No shrinking, Great Product!!!

    Very nice product
I used this on my concrete stoop so it was a vertical application. Followed the directions and i was very pleased with the results. I would recommend only working in small areas as they are not lying it does set fast so do not mix too much at once. It can be "molded" as it states which was helpful in filling in hard to reach places using a putty knife or trowel. I also used quikrete bonding adhesive and quikrete crack filler. before applying this product. Product comes dry in 2 separate bags ... read more and i used all of it on a roughly 10' X 4' X 20" high stoop. I'll have to see how it holds up after a harsh winter but as for now product as advertised.

    Good stuff for most repairs
I had a driveway slab that settled unevenly. There was a 1" drop at the outer corner of one slab. Every time I used my snowblower, it caught the front edge of the housing and it ticked me off, so I decided to fix it. This stuff is a cment based product with a bonding agent already added. It sticks well, but you want to keep the edges on you repair at least 1/8" thick, no feather edging. If you want to have a feather edged repair, you should be looking at a 2 part epoxy product instead of a ... read more cement based product like this. I used my angle grinder to grind down the area at the edge of my intended patch to maintain a 1/8" depth of repair material, and it worked very well. You DO need to have all your prep work done, and all your tools at hand before mixing this stuff. You have only 20 minutes, no more! Like a Boy Scout, you need to be prepared. Make sure you have a very good mix, and have the repair area dampened. I used a very thin mixed slurry of the material to brush on to the repair area before mixing the main batch of fill material. Once you do mix it up, use a trowel or a gloved hand to push the material into the repair area, this will ensure a good bond with the old concrete.. Leave enough material (and time) to finish and smooth it off with a trowel. My repair turned out very nicely. It is a bit darker than the original concrete, but it may fade in time, no big deal anyway. The repair seems to be very well bonded, but this winter, the snowblower will be the acid test!

    Did what it said
I used this last summer to repair some cracks in my 40 year-old porch steps. It was easy to use on both the horizontal and vertical portions of my steps. The only downside was that this was a different color than the existing concrete once it dried which was very understandable. After going over the steps with a coat of Behr solid color concrete stain, my porch looks incredibly better than it did last summer. The best news, the repair made it through a northeast Ohio winter and looks just as ... read more nice as it did the day I finished it last August.

    Good rapid set
I realized this cement was probably a little more "advanced" than what I needed, but it still did a great job for my project. I was using terra cotta pots as anchors for posts to hold string lights on my screened porch. When I started reading the instructions on the bag, I realized that this product could be used for many more projects, like cement repair. Nonetheless, I found that this product was great for my little project. I mixed my cement in 3 small batches in a 5 gallon bucket using a ... read more mixing attachment on my drill. It took about the amount of effort you would think and I am very pleased with the results.

    Fast drying
This product dries very fast so you need to working quickly. Top coating my patio with it. Mix very well so no clumps. I used a rubber floor squeegee to spread it quickly. Need to pressure wash whatever you mix it in immediately or it will harden in tub or mixer as quickly as it sets on concrete and you will have to chisel and chip it out. Very pleased with the product. Cold water or ice water will help slow down setting a little longer.

    Excellent Product
Rapid Set Cement All is a quality product that produces amazing results. Although it is expensive, it is worth it! Use it to perform concrete repairs (0-4 inches thick) on sidewalks, walls, and SMALL resurfacing/skim coating projects. The only downside is the working time - you have to be extremely fast when working with Cement All, as you only have 10-15 mins to mix and apply this product. Mix for no more than 2-3 mins, use a pool trowel to apply, and then immediately finish with a yellow tile ... read more sponge applying light-medium pressure to get a lightly sanded smooth finish. I work for a General Contractor and have used this product on high traffic areas, such as in schools; ready to walk on within an hour.

We have only used one of these bags outside of our goat barn, which tends to flood every spring and summer, no matter what we do. We put one of the bags at the side where we knew the water seeped through. It absorbed all of the water that had emerged from out recent melted snowstorm. The barn has stayed dry. We will be buying more of these because of their multi-use possibilities,

    Impressive performance
I got a small pack of five because we sometimes experience a minor leakage from one basement wall when it rains heavily. My intention was to wait until spring when rains come and see how these work. Lucky thing I got them when I did, since rising temperatures brought rain in JANUARY! As usual, we heard the sump pump working overtime from the kitchen, and went down to investigate. Sure enough, that small crack was seeping water. Although this is not a catastrophic leak, it is a nuisance. So, in ... read more a matter of seconds, I cut the package open with scissors and took out four floodsax--- enough to corral the mini flood along the path of the water's flow. They start off being about one-half inch thick. Within minutes these thin floodsax starting bulging and expanding from absorbing ALL that water! Just like in the videos on YouTube and the FloodSax website, these really DO work! This is one of those preparedness products that you want BEFORE something happens. My wife was so delighted with the performance, she bought some for her friend who has a much worse problem in her basement. They worked well for her too. I recall one year in my youth when our city experience a MAJOR devastating flood and I volunteered for several days packing real old-fashioned sandbags against that torrent. It was grueling heavy wet dirty work. I can easily see how these could save a person thousands in damage around a home, or save a municipality MILLIONS in damages and deployment costs. These are so lightweight and small, one truckload floodsax could easily replace ten or more truckloads of conventional sandbags. They are MUCH MUCH easier to move and place. As they absorb water, they conform to the space where they are packed so they leak less. The weight of the water itself is what holds them in place. Here's the kicker! They are reusable! Not only can you dry these out simply by laying them flat in the hot sun, they have antimicrobial properties which the manufacturer says last even after first use. So far, that appears to be true since our basement has zero mold growing on those bags even now, several weeks after I put them in place. If you have leaks or live in a potential flood zone, you really should check these out by visiting the FloodSax website. They have impressive videos demonstrating how they work and how easy they are to use.

Good for compact storage for "just in case"
While I don't live in a place subject to major flooding (there are no major creeks, rivers, dams, etc. above me), my house is located on a hill below street level. My neighbor had leaves divert water and debris from the street down his driveway and into his garage during a heavy downpour a few years ago. Further, if you've ever seen a water main break, you know how those are capable of causing significant flooding on city streets. So the though has crossed my mind that I really should be ... read more prepared to put out sand bags on short notice should something like this happen to my driveway. However, actually storing sand and sandbags for something that could happen years in the future is not easy. Thus I was glad when I came across this product. This allows me to store enough bags to barricade both my garage doors and the front door to my house to keep several inches of water out on short notice, and I can store all of that (30 bags in my case) in a stack about 2' high. I do wish that these bags cost less, but compared to the cost of flood damage these are cheap (especially since most homeowners insurance doesn't cover flood damage). One downside to these bags is that I'm not clear on what to do with them once they've been used. The instructions that come with the bags are quite limited. The company's website has more information and an FAQ, but still nothing related to the draining and disposal of these bags after use. I tried calling their customer support: after waiting for a few minutes, I was required to leave a voice message (there wasn't an option to stay on hold), and they never got back to me, so their customer support didn't win any points with me.

    Made outdoor kitchen
I used this product to construct an outdoor kitchen by drystacking cinderblocks. Made the job super fast and came out great. Faux stone veneer mortered on very securely and done! They should stock this in every Home Depot location!

This product was used to repair the entire exterior surface walls of a 3,500 square foot home built from inferior brick which was fired at too low a temperature. Bonding was achieved at the mortar rather than the crumbling brick surface. The house was previously sold half price below fair market value by the previous owners, yet full value was restored to it for the new owners. The Quickwall (R) product also successfully bonded broken roofing tiles, and filled cracks between tile rows where ... read more traditional grouts and cements failed in hot / cold real-world long-term service. loved this product
I used this sand under the bottom of an in ground pool for leveling and softness. It worked great. I found only 2 stones in 30 bags of sand. It was close to the quality of playground sand. My pool is level and the pool bottom is soft but compact. I'm planning on getting more for a paver project.

Works to start my Mittleider garden
I picked the best ten bage off of the skid that was at sholder height. no one around for help at the matteson store at 0900. I hand loaded them one at a time onto a tarp inside my car. when I drove the 4 miles and unloaded them 4 had leaked out of the ends all over my tarp. I never handled the ends that leaked. I handled a lot of heavy machines and daily lifted 100 pound plus items during my last job for 24 years the bags are only paper. as I will need to buy at least 20 more bags, I will need ... read more to buy a roll of duct tape to secure the bag seams.

    Good Concrete
I've used this concrete in the past and decided to put up a wooden privacy fence at our new home and went with this concrete again. It works well if mixed right and you can't beat the price it was on sale at. $2.88 for an 80lb. bag. Not bad at all. Will continue using it as long as it works as it always has for me.

    Great Product
Just purchased 50 bags for a project with delivery by HD. Cement arrived well packaged on pallet and in good condition. Product is easy to mix and to work. I've used it before with great results. This project was no different.

    Easy even for beginners!
This stuff really is quick and easy! I have been using QuickCrete for setting 4x4 fence posts around my entire property with great results. Its easy to mix, fast to dry and even holds the posts level while drying. It also works well for decorative sidewalks. You can pour it free form or use molds. Can't beat this product for the price!

    Easy fast mix.
We used this mix to put in plastic fence posts. We were able to pour into the hole then added water and it worked fine. Can also be mixed in a bucket and poured in but it dries fast so don't mix it until you are ready to use it. Has a nice composite to powder ratio for multiple uses. This product also makes nice stepping stones if you know how to mold them. It can be painted and/or sealed with waterproofing. Not easy to clean once it sets but while it's still wet cleanup is a breeze.

    Sets FAST!
We used this concrete for part of our cord wood chicken coop. It is quite smooth and easy to mix. However, we decided after our first application in mortaring to use it as a second layer of the floor instead. It goes on smoothly and is very malleable when initially applied. The problem is that the drying time is so fast that it would set before we could finish. It was hardening way before we applied it all, even when we left it somewhat soupy. When we used the rest on the floor, we kept applying ... read more water in order to smooth it out. It turned out beautifully on the floor.
