    I really like this stuff
I've used Cement All for various construction projects over the years and I am very happy with the results. This stuff is, no kidding, FAST. It sets up in about 10-15 minutes and at 1 hour it's solid. It holds up very well over the years. I've gone back and looked at some of the concrete repair work I've done and it still looks great 10 years later.

    Fast drying
This product dries very fast so you need to working quickly. Top coating my patio with it. Mix very well so no clumps. I used a rubber floor squeegee to spread it quickly. Need to pressure wash whatever you mix it in immediately or it will harden in tub or mixer as quickly as it sets on concrete and you will have to chisel and chip it out. Very pleased with the product. Cold water or ice water will help slow down setting a little longer.

    Good rapid set
I realized this cement was probably a little more "advanced" than what I needed, but it still did a great job for my project. I was using terra cotta pots as anchors for posts to hold string lights on my screened porch. When I started reading the instructions on the bag, I realized that this product could be used for many more projects, like cement repair. Nonetheless, I found that this product was great for my little project. I mixed my cement in 3 small batches in a 5 gallon bucket using a ... read more mixing attachment on my drill. It took about the amount of effort you would think and I am very pleased with the results.

    Good for pavers
I used the sand for pavers and it worked great. Tamp down wet and your surface is level and keeps pavers solid.

    Excellent product.
I used the product to loosen soil prior to laying down a sod lawn. The sand was of consistent granularity and perfect for this landscape application. The bagging was sturdy so that none of them leaked in transit or prior to use.

    Best Value/Quality
I use this sand in combination with a paver base for laying stone, flagstone paths. Product is cleaner than other bagged sand products and packaging is secure, no leaks.

    Just add water
I don't have any skills with any sort of construction jobs and when I needed concrete to add to my fence posts, this was very easy to install, just follow the instructions.

    WORKS VERY WELL
A DRUNK DRIVER TOOK OUT OUR MAILBOX. WE NEEDED SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE QUICK AND EASY TO WORK WITH. WE BOUGHT ONE BAG OF CONCRETE, A 4 X 4 POST CUT TO SIZE, AND A HOMER BUCKET. PUT THE POST IN THE BUCKET, SURROUNDED IT WITH THE MIX, & ADDED WATER. WITHIN A HALF HOUR, YOU COULDN'T MOVE THE POST, ADDED THE MAILBOX TO THE TOP OF THE 4 X 4 POST AND I HAD A GREAT TEMPORARY AND STURDY MAILBOX TO USE WHILE WAITING FOR OUR PERMANENT MAILBOX TO BE REBUILT.

    Ease of use extremely valuable
It was so much easier to just pour in the mix and then to pour in water than it was to mix then pour. It not only saved me time but a back ache as well. The quick setting features of this product allowed me to quickly go from post to post when setting my fence posts giving me the opportunity to use my leveling rods more efficiently.

    Fun Product
This cement is so much fun to play with. I started with a thick, clay-like consistency and patted it on the outside of a plastic face mask. I let it dry for 24 hours before removing it. Now I have a cement face mold I can use for making many more faces! I also made a thinner batch of cement and made a stepping stone for my yard. It is a very easy, versital material to work with. The directions are very easy to follow and there are several videos online to give you more ideas. It dries to a very ... read more hard, durable finish and can be painted or stained. I really like this product, especially for the clay-like consistency you get by adding less water. You have 30-60 minutes to mold it before it starts hardening....that's a good amount of time!

    great for small projects
The shape creek shape able concrete product is a great option for small projects, like what we've been working on. -That is, we've had small touch up options. A cool thing is that the directions are.clear. I get fearful around the "finality" of concrete, but the instructions provide a clear guide. The other thing I wanted to point out is that 20 pounds sounds like a lot, but the was the compound works it's not as much (doesn't cover as much ground --literally) as I had perceived. A crafter and hobbyists dream.
If you can think it up and mold it you can make it out of concrete. And Shapecrete is a convenient easy way of doing that. Make up some molds or for a more rustic look shape it by hand. Ashtrays, vases, coasters, house numbers, wall hangings, the list is really endless. Easy to mix and easy to use what you want and store the rest for the next project. If your feeling creative pick up a bucket today and get to crafting!!!!

    Excellent
I'm a fix-it-yourself homeowner who is not a professional contractor and this is the best cement product I've ever used, hands down. I've used it for exterior repair on the foundation and interior repair on cement floors and cinder block walls. Easy to work with and dries hard as a rock. A few tips: this stuff starts to harden up within 20 minutes so it's best to mix it up in small batches. Use a measuring cup or similar device to get the proportions right and it's foolproof. When first mixed ... read more it's soupy - let it sit for a few minutes until it starts to firm up. Then start work. Keep your trowel clean and wet. A water misting bottle is a useful accessory - clean out an old Windex bottle and use that. Easy clean up with soap and warm water. The 25-pound container will last for a while but you can bet this is what I'm buying if I need more material.

    It is rapid
My broken step was fixed in 1 hour. This is amazing product. Just be ready to work work it 15, 20 min or make sure u add set control to add 20 min extra.

    GOOD STUFF
IF YOU USE THIS BE READY. ANY LEVELING OR ADJUSTING NEEDS TO BE DONE RIGHT AWAY. 15 OR 20 MIN.AND IT'S TOO LATE.

Good for compact storage for "just in case"
While I don't live in a place subject to major flooding (there are no major creeks, rivers, dams, etc. above me), my house is located on a hill below street level. My neighbor had leaves divert water and debris from the street down his driveway and into his garage during a heavy downpour a few years ago. Further, if you've ever seen a water main break, you know how those are capable of causing significant flooding on city streets. So the though has crossed my mind that I really should be ... read more prepared to put out sand bags on short notice should something like this happen to my driveway. However, actually storing sand and sandbags for something that could happen years in the future is not easy. Thus I was glad when I came across this product. This allows me to store enough bags to barricade both my garage doors and the front door to my house to keep several inches of water out on short notice, and I can store all of that (30 bags in my case) in a stack about 2' high. I do wish that these bags cost less, but compared to the cost of flood damage these are cheap (especially since most homeowners insurance doesn't cover flood damage). One downside to these bags is that I'm not clear on what to do with them once they've been used. The instructions that come with the bags are quite limited. The company's website has more information and an FAQ, but still nothing related to the draining and disposal of these bags after use. I tried calling their customer support: after waiting for a few minutes, I was required to leave a voice message (there wasn't an option to stay on hold), and they never got back to me, so their customer support didn't win any points with me.

Innovative, easy to store sand bag kit.
These are awesome! They're very light when dry and they come in a great carrying bag (5 per bag). I activated mine by placing them where the water would be. They soaked up the water and they have held the water for over a week! We're in the middle of an El Nino winter, which for us means it's a wet one. We have a hill in our back yard and with some rain, the water comes pouring down. I'm going to use these to build a barrier to help control the water flow on the hill and down at the bottom. ... read more When the bags are activated, they are heavy, just like sand bags. I can place them (empty) where I need them, then when they fill up, they'll be like a sand bag. I also noticed that they can be used to soak up water from a plumbing leak, to control water in a basement and to keep water from ruining a floor. We've very happy with these bags and they're a great alternative to filling and carrying sand bags! I recommend you try them.

Fantastic idea, a great emergency item for an El Nino winter
We live up in the hills here in Southern California and 'winter' normally starts with a visit to the local fire station to fill sandbags so we can prep for the early winter rains that normally erode the dirt on our hillside property. We decided to try these Flood Sax out so we have an 'emergency' supply of ready to use sand bags just in case the heavier rains of an El Nino winter start to cause additional problems. Compared to a typical 30-50lb sandbag, these are super easy to use and ... read more super easy to store. They are supplied in a vacuum packed bag within a custom plastic carrier bag. This means they can sit on the shelf in the garage or shed ready to use when needed. The principal is pretty simple and similar to a child's diaper. When the material inside the bags becomes wet, they 'inflate' creating a decent sized barrier for water and other debris. In the picture below, you can see how the packet of 20 Flood Sax compares to a truck bed full of 24 regular sandbags. There's no comparison really, they're easier to store, easier to move and a must have if you live in a flood prone area or are preparing for severe weather/rain. Compared to free sandbags and free dirt from the local fire station, they're obviously more costly however I'm happy to swap a morning with a shovel and cable ties filling and lifting conventional sandbags in and out of our truck for these!

Important Info to Understand Before Using This Product
The following is basic info you need to know if you are not familiar with how fast Rapid Set Products can set. If you are using this because you are working on a hot day, there are a couple of other things that should be done BEFORE using this product. 1: If it is Warm or Hot outside, keep the bags of cement in the shade or better yet inside an AC conditioned space. If the dry concrete is above 80 degrees than you are already asking for a short set time, the cooler you can get the mix (No, do ... read more not go to the point of freezing temps) the closer you will be to the directions set time. 2: Do not use warm water out of a hose. Either let it run so it turns cool, or better yet, use Ice Water (with the ice cubes melted 100%). 3: Do not use a wheel barrow that has been sitting in the sun for hours. Do you see a theme here? The temperature of EVERYTHING will have a dramatic effect on the set time. One of the other reviews stated this product only gave him a couple of extra minutes. That was probably true, BUT when you don't properly prepare / ensure everything is at cool temperature, there is only so much one little packet can do. Not to mention taking the above steps will help save you money as you will need to buy less of these packets. Rapid Set makes come incredible products and this is no different. As with most things, understanding a few key details you may have not known makes all the difference in the world. Cheers!

    Worked like a charm!
My first back of Rapid Set concrete turned into a brick almost instantly due to the Texas heat in August. Added in a bag of the Set Control, and had more than enough time to work with it before it started to harden. GREAT!

This product is 25 grams of pure powdered Citric acid
This product works great. But if you read the MSDS you will see that it is just 25 grams of pure powdered Citric acid. There are cheaper sources for Citric acid since it is also used for cooking and canning. You can find it in bulk for less than 25% the cost of this item. Another way to slow down the set time for Rapid Set cement products is to cool the mix. Keep the bags of cement cool, use cold water, and in extreme conditions you can substitute an equal amount of ice for mix water by weight. ... read more So if you normally use 10 lbs of water per 55 lb. bag of Cement-All, you can instead use 5 lbs. of water and 5 lbs of ice. Also you can use a light colored canopy to keep your pour area out of direct sunlight.
