    Delivers on its promise
After removing the damage wood from my window frames, I sprayed the surface with wood hardener, waited 24 hours, and it well prepared the surface for the Wood Epoxy Paste. As others have written, it really is like mixing peanut butter and well filled the holes caused by the rotted wood excavation. It hardened over night and then used my palm sander to restore the surface for painting. It's pricey, but it works!

    Works well
I was able to use the paste to fill in stripped screw holes in a table top and a portion of a cutout in a door frame for a deadbolt. It was pliable and easy to work with. However, the screws in the tabletop worked bette when I offset them from the filled holes and used other spots in the tabletop material to reinstall the screws.

Excellent product for wood repair and restoration
Probably one of the best wood repair products I have used. Easy to mix and apply, viscous enough to retain tack on vertical surfaces, and even easier to work with once cured. Cuts and sands like butter, but is strong and does not chip when worked hard. Clean up needs to be done pretty quickly, but is not painful. I have not yet stained or painted it yet, but suspect it will work as described. Great product

    Band-It plywood banding tape
Excellent product. Applies easily with a house iron or specialty banding iron. Matches hardwood veneered plywood exactly and can be stained to look just like the surface of the plywood. Trimming, if necessary, can be done with a random orbit sander, router, or banding trim tool, such as the Band-It trimmer, unfortunately not available at The Home Depot.

    Fast and efficient
I repainted our kitchen cabinets and needed to either paint or resurface the front edges of all the cabinet faces. I didn't think that painting would be durable enough on the existing melamine faces, so I bought 300' of this edge banding. Installation couldn't have been easier. I cleaned the edge with a cleaner/degreaser and scuffed the existing melamine banding, so the adhesive would bite better. Turned the iron just shy of the highest setting, and ironed it right on. Easy to cut, easy to ... read more apply. I didn't use anything over the banding to protect the iron, so I had to make sure if any adhesive transferred that I wiped it off right away. Cabinets look great, and the banding blends in perfectly.

    HDX spackling
HDX spackling is comparable to any of the big name more expensive ones. It goes on easily and sands to a smooth even finish. When painted it has a very nice finish to it. Hard to tell where it even was.

    Effective product
I am a novice at wall repair, but it was easy to use this product - just follow directions.

    Awesome Product!
I fought with a large circular hole in the wall made by previous owners. No other spackling would patch the hole with out looking awful. I tried this spackling and it was awesome, smooth, easy to use and the finished wall looks beautiful! Thank you!

So easy to use! and quick
I use this product every time I move or fix a rental. No tools needed, I just use my finger for small nail holes. It dries pretty quickly but in the container, it's lasted for years.

    Spackling that works!
A Home Depot employee suggested I get the Patch-n-Paint Lightweight Spackling to fill in holes in my basement's drywall before painting. Since I'd never worked with spackling before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but let me tell you -- I couldn't be happier that he suggested this product to me. It was EASY to apply -- just dip your finger into the spackling, and then apply it to the small holes in your walls. Wait overnight, and then go smooth it out using fine or extra-fine sandpaper. Then, paint away. EASY.

    Wouldn't use anything else
I've been using this for well over 20 years. Especially good for plaster walls. Hard as a rock, smells and hard to sand but wouldn't use anything else. It use to be readily available in gallons but getting more difficult to find. I'm glad to see the Plaistow NH Home Depot has it again.

    Awesome Stuff!!!
I've used many other related products but this stuff works the best. Does everything from patching imperfections to filling nail holes and would highly recommend this product if you're painting your house.

Just what I needed... to repair and salvage cedar siding and trim.
I was hoping for effectively Bondo for exterior wood and the product worked exactly as hoped for. It saved me from a lot of extra time, work, and expense cost for replacing vs repairing Only time will tell how it holds up but I suspect it will do fine

    great stuff.
I have rental houses and deal with holes in almost anything- hollow core doors, sheetrock or plaster walls, wood paneling, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities. You name it, a tenant has made a hole in it. This stuff is cheap, I can throw it in the trunk and carry it for months without worrying about it going bad from too much heat or too much cold, and I can mix up just what I need. Dries fast, which is good for whatever you're fixing but can be a drawback if you don't work fairly fast.

    Works for me...
I have used this to patch drywall and it works well. I know that it's intended for wood but I still got great results. It's alot easier to work with than Joint Compound for small patches, also doesn't create as much dust when sanding. I wish that the label would tell you how much the total product yield is after mixing it with water per the instructions on the label.

    Great product
I found this water putty at Home Depot and couldn't be happier. I wanted a product I could put on my kitchen walls and make it look like old European plaster. I did this 6 years ago, painted it and everyone wanted to know how and what. I recently had a pipe break under my kitchen sink and, long story short, my kitchen had to be rebuilt from the floor up. The only part of the kitchen that made it through the disaster was the Durhams Water Putty. The repair crew had to tear out the old walls but I ... read more used the same finish, painted and it looks like fine old plaster. I expect it to last for another 6+ years. I am a senior and it was easy to use, easy to clean up and fast drying…was delighted I could still find it for sale.

    Very Good Product
What else can I say other than it does the job well and the color change to indicate when it is dry is excellent

    Years later, still worked
I had a 32 ounce tub of this for (probably) a full decade. It only recently dried up with about 8 oz left) when someone (not blaming anybody who didn't pay attention) closed it with some spillage on the rim of the lid, not allowing it to fully close. Until that happened, I'd use this three or four times a year. Only once did I feel like I needed to mist it with water and that was on a dry day and I had it open for a long time. Very happy with this stuff!

    A very good product
I used this product on two occasions for repairing fine stress cracks in walls and ceilings. The cracks were from hairline to 1/8 inch wide and up to two feet long. Following the instructions on the label I was able to make the repairs successfully. Obviously it is very important to match the surface finish to the adjacent areas for appearance and color. I definitely recommend this product. Too bad it is no longer sold in our local HD store, but as it was be delivered free to the store, it is no big deal.

This product does an excellent job of hiding cracks!
I filled the cracks with painters caulk, sanded the lightly and then sprayed goodbye cracks over the cracks. After painting you could not see where the crack was.

    works well with proper prep
You must prepare the crack first. You need to sand down the area to make edges even and level. Then you spray on the goodbye cracks over the cracked area and a little on both sides. Then you can paint. I found the roller works better than a brush and you cannot go over it a lot or it will pull off. I used this product years ago and still have good results.
