I wish I could post pics because this stuff is amazing & beats any other spackling I've tried to use.... I was hesitant to try it, but so glad I did ... I won't use anything else from now on ...

    Great For Quick Fixes
I love this product. I use it all the time with crack repair. If you are looking for a no mess spackle -- this is it! I spray it, then putty knife it into the groove of the crack and done! The product is easily blended too. So very little fussing with it. I like this better than traditional spackling because you don't have to mix anything, you don't have to worry about a mess on the floor. You just point, shoot and paint. I have used this on crack repairs only...and painted within a few hours to ... read more complete projects.

    Good product for shallow repairs
This is by far the easiest product I have used to fix shallow imperfections in drywall, like peeling paint or damage from removing wallpaper. The product goes on thinner and is much easier to work with than spackling paste, thus reducing sanding and making the repair invisible. Recommended!

This product was easy to use and did a great job.
The product was of high quality and completely filled in the gaps I was looking to diminish on my hardwood floors.

    Effective product
I had a damaged spot on a walnut board for a cabinet I was building, and bought this filler. Don't be put off when you squeeze out the filler and compare it to the color of your walnut board. When it dries, the color blends in well. The filler sands well, and accepts a polyurethane finish.

    Looks good as new!!
easy to apply, matches wood perfectly, hardens quickly, easily sandable and bonds perfectly to clear coat.

    HDX spackling
HDX spackling is comparable to any of the big name more expensive ones. It goes on easily and sands to a smooth even finish. When painted it has a very nice finish to it. Hard to tell where it even was.

    Easy To Use
I repaired water damage on a plaster wall and ceiling with this product, and it was so easy to use, and easy to tool and blend in, you couldn't tell the wall had been repaired, and I usually do a horrible job when it comes to repairing plaster or drywall. This was so easy to use, since it was premixed, and the consistency is good, it doesn't take long to dry, and I had no problems painting over it. It cleans up easily with water.

    fast drying patch
This is a "vinyl" patch for walls, and almost anything else that is "paintable". It is a fast drying patch for big or small holes. You can use a putty knife, or just smooth it into the hole with fingers and wipe off excess. Dries in about 15min. The product support at Red Devil is fantastic also! It has a slight texture, so it is good for drywall surfaces, but may require some sanding and/or primer on smooth surfaces. I am a painting contractor and use this on a regular basis.

Handy so you know that it is dry!
I love working on projects in my garage, I'm always building things for the house and one of the things I have ran into several times is sanding pieces that I have built and filled to find the filler wasn't dry yet and having to start the filling process over again. This puddy does change from purple to while when it is dry. I just used it on a bookcase that I was building for the basement and it was handy. The bookcase looks very nice and the puddy gave it a nice smooth finish after sanding.

    Easy to use wood filler
This wood filler has good texture and is easy to use in most any wood filler application. Deep repairs may require more than one filling session (which is not unlike any other wood filler - they all contract when drying). It is easy to know when to sand the filler because it turns white when it is ready - no guesswork! I highly recommend this wood filler. I am sure it will do the job for you.

    best wood filler
I've used this product for several projects and I think it is far superior to any other. I couldn't find it yesterday at my Home Depot. An employee tried to help me but had never heard of it. I then tried Dixieland and they don't carry it. This had me panicked - I did NOT want to go back to the old Dapp junk. Very happy to see (at least according this web site) that HD still carries it and it is in stock at my store today... whew! This is a great product for patching wood or plaster which will ... read more then be painted. Thank you Elmer's!!! ( I can't believe someone tried to stain it. Look in area where stain is sold if you want wood filler which can be stained.)

    Best purchase
I used this wood filler to fill the door lock screw hole to refit the lock. When i try to remove the broken screws from the door the hole become big and not able to fix the screws again. This wood filler works great. This saves the cost of new door. Good quality product.

    Use this filler
I had had high quality kitchen cabinetry, however, what appear to be installer's poor work, some doors started to fall off after heavy use in 2 years. This was out of warranty and need a solution to refit that cabinetry doors. I tried using Durham's hard rock water putty, while my past experience with this putty was good, it didn't work well since screw hole were deep and vertical so pushing loose putty was difficult, didn't completely fill the holes and didn't work well. Having unsuccessful ... read more first time, I was very reluctant to try other product. After reading review at home depot, I decided to purchase this product. It was easy to use. I used u-clip to push the epoxy as much as I could to give full coverage. Used Husky's 14 in 1 Painter's tools to level the surface After a week or so, doors are holding. It appear to me that it will work. I would recommend this product for all potential applications for filling. Only complaint is that they should clearly say that this is 2 part epoxy, where this cylindrical epoxy consist of inner core and out core and you cut them carefully and mix it. It will not take a second to figure this out; I thought it would be useful to mention it in packaging. I thought that would make buying decision easy, since I was concern that once packaging is opened, we have to consume it in full. Also some sort of compatible, plastic tool, included with the product, might be handy help for small projects.

probably the best available for outdoor use
Tried this and the Elmer's "Max" product to fill knot holes in 2x4 deck boards. The J-B product is superior in hardness to Elmer's and better overall. It's more a little more difficult to clean up, is not cheap and comes in a fairly small amount. For a relatively small amount of filling, especially outdoors, this is the best I've used.

First time I ever used this it was easy
I have never patched drywall before and the wall I had to fix was pretty bad. I patched with this kid that also included the tool and I could not believe how great it worked! It dried, I sanded and painted and wall looks great. I would definately use this again!!

    Weekend Patchwork Job
So, my teenagers were rough housing one day and knocked a hole in the wall with the door knob. They hid it conspicuously with a movie poster. By the time I recovered from my initial shock, I researched wall patching products and came across this one. This was affordable, easy to use, and easy to clean up! I completed this job in one hour. I felt accomplished because it was my first time patching a wall! I highly recommend this product for its ease of use and affordability.

great inexpensive kit with robust patches
Decided to give this a try, paired with the 4x4 repair kit, and it worked out much better than I expected. Was glad to see that these HDX patches come with a metal plate as part of the patch, so the end result was robust and low profile. Tip: I discovered the 8oz repair compound was enough to do 4 patches (two 4x4 and two 6x6; two layers on each patch).

    Easy to work with
My Homeowners Association had demanded some residents repair their rotting roof tails, so I purchased Woody Wood Epoxy Paste and it worked perfectly. Easy to work with. It filled in even the pieces that fell apart when sanded, so that they all looked uniform and good as new. They are stronger than before and painted up beautifully. Highly recommend

    Best epoxy wood filler
I have a log home with some rot. I've tried several epoxy fillers on the smaller areas and PC Woody is the easiest to work, apply and shape. Peanut butter consistency. I have more areas to fix and I won't buy anything else.

Easy to use wood epoxy filler
I had never used a product like this before. It is easy to mix, easy to spread, doesn't smell so bad as other epoxy stuff. My only complaint is they didn't carry it in the store, I had to order it and wait for it to be delivered.
