Good quality product
I purchased this for my bathroom. I went back and forth between composite and wood chair moulding. I ultimately picked this because of the fact that it was going to be installed in my bathroom. This product is light weight and very easy to cut. It doesn't splinter like wood trim and if you bend it, it doesn't break because it's not glued together at finder joints. Too expensive, but great product.
This molding looks great right out of the box, is lighter than wood, and seems to be a quality product. Gotta warn ya, though--when you cut it with your miter saw expect little white pieces to go everywhere. I guess you could say it's the PVC equivalent of sawdust. LOL.
Just the right price, hight quality product
I bought this molding and put it up in my girls' bedroom as a chair rail over a bead board wainscot. It was surprisingly easy to install and is hands down way more durable than fiberboard and wood.
When accidentally dropped, this stuff just bounces and has no lasting marks. When cut with my miter saw, it always had perfect edges unlike the chipping that you sometimes see with fiberboard or wood on the very ends. It also nailed up very well without ever splitting and took spakle seamlessly.

little white pieces of plastic sawdust do get all over when you cut it, but this was no worse than regular sawdust and was easy to brush up after I was done.
After installing it, a few months later I realized that I forgot to put the door stopper back on (and this is a kids room) the doorknob had been hitting the chair ail for three months and there was not so much as a scratch on the product.
