Way better than wood. Added to plain old doors in 1971 house. What an improvement!

Great for screened porch replacement windows.
Recent replacement of screens with windows on the screened in back porch was 'finished' by using these to trim the inside over exiting aged wood. They worked extremely well and were very easy to miter.

    coped ends
Product works good and looks good but is very hard to cope cut the ends. I wonder if there is a company that makes trim pieces with the ends perfectly coped? That would make installation a breeze and the finished job would look fantastic.

Looks great next to our hard wood
We only put this in about half of our house and I'm ready to buy more and finish the project. It looks great and really easy to paint. It arrived without any defects or shipping marks.

Looks expensive when installed and painted.
I read many previous reviews and still decided to get this as my budged is limited. I love it. Was easy to work with and I cut, fit, painted and installed it myself. I did learn to handle it gently. Before the enamel paint, seemed to ding easily. I knew what the product was and am not disappointed. Miter cuts were very easy to fit. I am not a professional. I am a lady in my 70's. Guarantee if you came to my home, you would be impressed for it looks like real wood.

    Nice baseboards.
Looks great. Not real wood but you can't tell once it's painted. And much easier to install than real wood due to the flexibility of MDF. Nice product. Great price.

    Nice looking baseboards
These baseboards are very nice especially for the price. I would recommend especially if you want to add a more distinguished look by getting baseboards taller than what you currently have. We went from 3 1/2 inch boards to these and couldn't be happier with the result.

First Experience with Cellular PVC Door Jamb
This was the first time I have tried to install a door jamb made of cellular PVC. It is a very attractive white color and comes with a warranty against rot, insects, etc. that made it ideal for the new exterior door on my girlfriend's art studio. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, but the built-in door stop and weather strip interfere with the use of a router template for the hinge and latch mortises. Also, I made the mistake of following the illustration for installing the ... read more threshold (or sill plate) which requires removing part of the built-in door stop at the bottom of the door. My threshold was rounded rather than a simple slant as illustrated, so I had to carve the curve with a utility knife (NOT EASY!), only to discover I had removed too much material from the outside edge of the jamb. Luckily, I'd saved the pieces I had cut out, so I simply modified them and glued them back in place with PVC cement.. My only other problem was that the long sides of the jamb are pretty flexible, so you have shim them along almost the entire length of both sides of the door or they will bend out of proper alignment. The wooden jambs I've installed are not nearly so flexible. All in all though, I very pleased with the final results and the door fits perfectly into this new jamb.

    exellent replacement of jamb
excellent better than composite this was PVC composite this was not like regular composite like HD was selling - smooth finish like PVC, not like standard composite - should be carry in store for replace jambs - labors to high to replace jambs with treated pine or T&G pine that comes with standard jamb door have gone to ordering exterior doors with PVC jambs for new door or replacement fully hung doors

    Amazing product!
With Hurricane Irene we got water damage everywhere (basement, ceilings, molding, walls) I looked everywhere for a products that look classy, reasonably priced, and durable so if have another misfortune we won't have to go through the same repairs again. This product is extremely easy to install, looks and is more versatile than conventional molding. Best of all, in our high humidity rooms (basement) if it ever gets wet, dirty, or moldy, just wipe it down instead of repainting it! The company's ... read more customer service rep was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions before I started, and even gave me decorative ideas to install this in the bathrooms with track lighting. Everyone has complemented me on how it looks. Truely an awesome product.

    Excellent Kit
I was skeptical at first if a plastic crown molding would look good in a dinning room. It came out perfect. The instructions are very hard to follow. You really need to spend time thinking about how it will go up. Once you figure it out, it goes up 1-2-3. Caulking also worked well as small gaps because of the imperfections in the walls and plaster covered easily. Overall very happy with this product.

Use this with the Veranda vinyl Pre-finished Reversible Panel Planking. At first I didn't think this was a necessary addition, but it is. The baseboard and cap work beautifully together, making installation a breeze. You can get along without it, but these make it much easier to install. If you want wider baseboard than the 3.5" or so, you're going to have to use another product and install the vinyl planks as if they were traditional bead board.

    Vinyl Trim
Let me start out by saying that I am a single parent with NO remodel skills. I used this trim along with the vinyl wainscot and it really was easy to cut and install. This changed the whole look of the bathroom. I would recommend this product to everyone!!!!

    Great product.
Love the moldings. Just adds that extra finishing touch. The only problem is the filler provided for the nail holes is not a close enough match.

    Matches perfectly.
Received three full-length pieces of moulding, all pretty straight and match the door perfectly. They also included a little tube of waxy hole filler that doesn't really match, but it's ok. I would advise being very careful when cutting your miters with a power saw that you don't mar the finish or have any tear-out. I wrapped the area to be cut with blue masking tape and used a thin piece of backer wood underneath and it came out fine. Try a test cut first on a scrap end before you make your ... read more final miter cut. It's fairly dense wood. I needed to make some additional trim for a window I installed next to the door so I went to the website and emailed their customer service to get info on the type of stain and glaze they use. They were very responsive and the rep emailed me the info. I didn't have any luck finding the products so here is what I came up with. I bought stain-grade pine trim from my local World of Moulding store. Sanded to 180 grit. Distressed to match, using the corner of a putty knife jabbed into the wood to make the little parallel groove marks. Sanded lightly to 220 grit. Next I applied a first coat of Old Masters Rich Mahogany Gel Stain. On the second coat, I used the Rich Mahogany again and dabbled a little Zar Moorish Teak in random streaks to get the dark variations to match the door. You really have to do this by eye by adding and wiping off until you get the depth, color, and streaks you want. Make sure you work the stain into all the little distressed grooves you created. Let it thoroughly dry, one or two days. Then I applied General Finishes VanDyke Brown Glaze Effects to darken it a little further and enhance the detail. Two or three coats of General Finishes Exterior 450 completes the project.

    Great Outdoor Brick Molding!
I got this brick molding to trim the outside of my new patio door, and was impressed with the toughness of this material. It looks great and will hold up to all kinds of weather.

    Brick Molding
This is great product, weather resistance, looks great. It was delivered to my home, in enough time for my carpenter to replace the wooden brick mold that only lasted five years. Did not have to prime or paint it.

    brick moulding
We have an older home with exterior doors that needed some attention. Tired of battling the wood rot and constant painting problem we used this product to replace door frame materials. It looks beautiful and was easy to cut. Just be careful when you are working with this that you have a clean work area so you do not mar the finish.
