    The product was quite effective.
The items were purchased online for in store pickup. I was pleased with the experience.

    Solid stuff
This seems a lot thicker than I remember from the last time I used 15# paper. It lays out nice - no wrinkles. It is definately a good layer of protection for a small price relative to what you pay for the shingles. Only reason I didn't give 5 star quality is I recall a few small thin spots

    Great product
Great product, awesome price and good quality! Used in our Showroom as underlayment for porcelain tile.

    Good product
Bought this online as I was not sure if any synthetic material would be at the store. This is much better than felt by a long shot. Ended up running out and had to make a mad dash to my local store to hopefully find some before the rain set in. My local store did not have this, but they did have some Grey synthetic underlayment from GAF called feltbuster. I actually like the GAF much better than the tri-flex. The GAF underlayment had a better grip and is much safer. Both of these are great, and ... read more much better than felt, but the grey GAF feltbuster is the best in my opinion.

    Works as advertised
Good stuff. It's been on my roof for two weeks now unprotected by shingles and has shown no signs of leakage or tearing. If this was roof felt, half of it would have blown off by now. This allowed me the time to get a roofer to quote doing the shingles and trim while protecting my new frame structure from the weather. I was delighted by the amount of traction you get on this material, even when it is wet.

    FASTER AND EASIER
Tri-Flex is by far the best roofing underlayment I have ever used! It lays flat and will not wrinkle or buckle in wet or dry conditions. It is a lot safer to walk on and won't tear from fasteners. Paying a little extra for Tri-flex is worth it because it gives me the peace of mind knowing that I have secondary protection to help prevent leaks if water penetrates my primary roof covering.

    ice sheild
I had a place on the roof that was arched. I was told I had to put copper over it but that cost 4000 dollar. The metal shop recommend the ice shield and put shingles over it. It has been on for over two months and no leaks .

    Excellent quality.
This product really does the job. It is very tough and durable, sticks like crazy, and best of all, appears to be 100% waterproof. My amateur roofers seemed to have no problem applying it either. I expect this to last for many years. Well worth the money.

    Great product
Although this stuff is an little tricky to put down, I can't imagine a roof leaking after applying. I used it to seal my camper tip out prior to putting my rubber roof back down after repair water damage.

This product has great sealing ability.
I purchased this product to seal the area where the lower level of my roof meets the wall of the 2nd floor of my house. The adhesion of this roof membrane is amazing but be warned that you only have one chance to put it down smoothly on the roof!! I recommend that you have a helper. Take your time when lining up the membrane and work with small, more manageable pieces. I also used this product around the flashing on my roof windows. I don't know of any similar product that is on the market today.

    Grace Roof Detail membrance
This water-ice barrier has excellent properties. It seals well and probably seals around screws and nails driven into it to some degree. It just takes a little practice to apply the barrier since it is very sticky and you will usually get only one chance to put it on a surface. If it sticks to itself, it is best to start over. However, the challenges to applying the material are a testament to how well it will serve as a barrier. I have not had experience with other brands, but I think this one ... read more is worth the higher price.

    Great Product for Roof repairs
This is a great product especially for repairs, clean the surface very well with a brush and dry vac for best adhesion results. Measure and cut to size then peel and stick slowly from one end. Fixed a persistent leak and i know it will last many time that of regular paper/tar

Nice tar paper, better than a 15# felt
Alignment lines on the paper are clear and easy to see. Paper installs very easily, as most paper does. The 30 pound weight makes it lay better with very little, if any, wrinkles. I would always recommend using 30# paper over 15# paper.

MORE THAN ONE USE FOR THIS PRODUCT
I used this material as an extra sheet of insulation between the sub-floor and the pad when I had carpet installed. works well to stop any cracks from letting in air from the crawl space.

Used as underlayment on hardwood floor
This is the most inexpensive underlayment for a hardwood floor. The 30# products helps limit squeaks better than the 15# paper.

    FAST AND EFFICIENT
I have used this product on numerous occasions. It is great for low slope to flat roof surfaces and is faster and less troublesome than a torch-down. (in residential applications) most effective on new sheathing, or metal. I love this stuff, 1 man can handle a pretty nice sized job. ;)

    Does what it should
Will be more expensive than I initially calculated because of the overlapping required on my low pitch roof. The bottom release can rip at nicks and make it a little difficult but not impossible to install alone. The top layer release is very thin plastic and if too cold then will break easily while trying to pull it off. I solved this problem by using a powerful hair drier. A heat gun probably would have worked better. Good product and inexpensive compared to other comparable products.

    Great Value Leak Barrier
This is an excellent leak barrier/ ice and water shield. This is a thicker product than many competitors and installs very easily. The adhesive is very strong but is adjustable after laying the product to the roof deck for the first time. This stuff works so well in roof valleys and around chimneys. I am very satisfied with the product and the price it's offered at.

    excellent durability
An excellent product to use for waterproofing almost anything. As long as the product and the surface to which it is applied is clean, dry and warm i feel that it will last for many years. The only drawback is you must be extremely careful not to let the sticky surface get wrinkled and fold.It is practically impossible to pull it apart.

    Great product
Having used this product in the past, and struggled with applying it properly, I really like the new, improved version. It's a bit stiffer and less sticky so it's easier to apply smoothly without it sticking everywhere it shouldn't, but sticky enough that it stays put once it's pressed down. Also, the paper backing is WAY easier to peel off just by bending the product. It also has a textured surface so it's not like walking on a hockey rink when it's damp. My HD doesn't stock it, but it's worth ... read more ordering online.

Good stuff, but difficult to work with
I have not had any problems finding the ripcord. Just cut a little v-notch in the middle like the instructions say and pick it out with the point of your knife. Pieces less than a few feet can be put down singlehandly, but like others have pointed out, two or three is better. This stuff would be a real pain trying to align it without splitting the backer paper. I don't know why they just don't use two smaller pieces like other manufacturers do. It's really satisfying smoothing it out- you will ... read more find out how clean your roof is as you put it down. never use tar paper again
Excellent product great price, wish they had this in the store but no big deal, was shipped cross county to my door in three days! Will buy it again for my next roof project

Excellent quality, very strong , good price, THE BEST
Unbeatable quality.I used Grace SYN 15 underlayment for complete reroofing of my house 1400sq.ft . I recommend this product to everybody. It's lightweight, but very strong (difficult to tear), very water repellent, very easy to install, cheap, but very good quality. I have patio and workshop to be fixed and I will buy only this product. I tried to worked with other types of underlayment , but this one is THE BEST!
