    Remodeling My Home
Easier to handle and cut than Hardie. Make sure to install it exactly as instruction say in order to get the 50 year warranty. Make sure to put felt paper behind the siding and use np1 as caulking. DO NOT USE SILICONE ACRYLIC CAULK, IT WILL PULL AWAY FROM SIDING!

    Installation was easy
While completing a small shed, I wanted to alternate the peak of the front & rear walls as compared to the remainder of the vertical pattern used in my siding. Chose this for a lap, horizontal installation. Had to pick & choose through the boards at my local H.D. store to find ones that were in better condition. The edges & corners seemed to have the most damage on a higher than expected number of boards in-store. After finding 6 boards that were good, in my eyes, I was off to install. These ... read more are OSB construction & pre-primed on the face side & edges; back side bare OSB. The two long edges are beveled slightly. I found that the actual board width was closed to 7-3/4" on most boards. The wood-grain texture on the face side is attractive & distinct. Boards were easily cut with standard woodworking tools; hand saw, miter saw, jig saw or circular saw. Finished product looks great! My only complaint was the cost felt higher than I expected.

This is the stuff to get!
I bought 14 sheets of this for my 10x12 shed and I couldn't be happier. I did not think this stuff would look that great when I bought it but man I'm glad I did because it really turned out nice. I would definitely buy this stuff again and recommend to anyone building their own shed. See picture for my application... I would recommend getting the 3/8" Z-Bar (SKU 423602) if you're installing a panel above another.

    Great Siding!!
We have been using this product for years. We have it on our barn in the NC mountains for over 19 years and it has held up great. We remodeled a mobile home and put it for the interior walls and ceiling and it looked great and made it very sturdy. I would recommend this product to anyone. Love the wood grain look too.

    Outstnading
Me and my wife argued on what to put on the side of our house. She wanted siding and i wanted this product..After months of arguing ,she let me use this product..Needless to say after it was up on the house, she said she like it better than siding. It is very easy to work with and it looks great.I'm building a shed ,and I will use it on it .

    So far, so good...
We used this product as skirting for a double-wide mobile home in Southern Utah. Since installing it, it has snowed and rained several times and the Smart Side seems to be holding up well. I liked the fact that it was already primed in a reasonably attractive color. We do plan to paint it as soon as the weather warms up sufficiently.

    Very Good
We had an old shed that was failing and had many rot spots. Looking over the shed it was easier & cost effective to just cover it with smartside than to build new. The shed looks brand new now and has been holding up a couple years now. Also with the scrap pieces we tried it out in our garage woodshop, may be a lil expensive for doing this but it's sure better to look at than regular plywood or bare walls once finished. This stuff has many purposes. Dont forget to make a birdhouse with it.

    Enduring
I used this siding for a very llarge dog house roof 13 years ago. It's been out in the weather here in our harsh CO Rocky Mt climate all these years, yet it has never degraded in quality. I'm going to build a large hen house this spring and plan to use it as the roof, because I know it will last and last.....and keep on lasting.

Just what I was looking for.
I put this siding on an older double wide. It was fairly easy to install with no help. I like the fact that it is primed. It was very easy to paint and looks very good. It made an old mobile home look like a house. Also it was very affortable.

Great Panel For a Shed or Outer Wall Sheathing
Bought these to side a shed I built. Was east to cut & handle by oneself. This Stuff is Heavy Duty! The lap provided is a nice touch & made for easy installation over the 3/4 inch Styrofoam insulation board. It's Pre Primed so wasn't worried about weather till I was able to trim & paint the whole shed. I just wish they were a bit more affordable.

    Just want I needed!
I purchased this to use on the exterior walls of my doghouse and it worked flawlessly! It's quite heavy, but adds a lot of strength and durability to the dog house. I was able to use is horizontally like normal siding and reuse the cut pieces vertically without any issues. It was easy to paint and only needed one coat (but of course I gave it two). A few of the edges and corners were bashed and bent from the order picker putting it on the cart but other than that it's perfect. Just make sure to ... read more inspect the edges and grooves.
