    Perfect for outdoor use
I used this to make a gauge cluster housing for my boat. It made the project so easy & is turning out so nice that I plan on traveling 2 hours to get more for another project!

    great stuff
This stuff cuts routs and paints great. I amactualu using it to make some automotive pieces but I am very impressed with the ease with which it can be shaped, the cellular structure of it is very tight so even cut edges look great.

Excellent trim -- never rots and never needs paint!
If you want trim that will not rot and never needs to be painted, cellular PVC is the best solution! We just finished the exterior work on a home along the shore in Massachusetts. With the coastal environment, rust and rot are constant enemies. Paint degrades and peels quickly. So we used Veranda cellular PVC for all of the trim. A photo is attached. Here are a dozen tips for installation: (1) Cellular PVC trim is softer than wood and can be cut, routed, drilled and sanded with standard hand ... read more and power tools. It is tough but thin pieces can break off -- e.g. a thin rabbeted edge. It also dents and scratches more easily than wood; treat it carefully. (2) Always use stainless steel trim screws, e.g. PrimeSource Model # MAXS62777 Internet # 203354118 Store SKU # 232699. Stainless steel is softer than standard steel, however, and the driver bit will tend to cam out more easily. If it does, stop immediately and back the screw out. If the wood is hard, you may need to drill pilot holes. (3) You will never need to paint it -- if you like white trim and install it carefully. Treat the trim boards gently to avoid scratches and dings. Fill screw holes with a tiny bit of DAP 230, and be careful not to create smudges with your putty knife; they will attract dust and dirt and turn gray. If you need to remove sealant smudges, Home Depot sells a number of cleaning products for sealant and caulk, e.g. Krud Kutter Model # UP086 Internet # 202820391 Store SKU # 861519 (4) You can paint it, however, if you want a different color -- and cellular PVC is a much better surface for paint than wood. Use standard latex paint. (5) If you have corners where two pieces of trim need to meet, glue the ends together with special cellular PVC cement -- to avoid gaps. Look for: AZEK Trim Model # ARAD0004OZ Internet # 202084809 Store SKU # 740567 This works with Veranda and Azek cellular trim. We glued trim corners together around window boxes, for example, and window frame joints. The glued joints are very strong. (6) If you cut or trim the width of a piece of cellular trim and the cut edges are exposed, the open cells will gather dust and turn a bit gray. Seal cut surfaces with acetone on a clean rag. Wear gloves. (7) Whenever possible, assemble trim pieces on the ground -- not on the house! For example, we built trim 'frames' for all of the windows on work tables, then installed the complete 'frame' on the house. This allowed us to measure everything carefully, on a table to keep everything flat and straight, use clamps to keep things aligned, join large pieces with pocket screws, glue corners together, etc. This significantly improves the quality of the assembly. (8) In addition to the standard trim pieces on the shelves in your Home Depot, you can order special Azek pieces from the Customer Service / Pro desk that can save significant time and effort. We needed corner boards for the corners of this house, for example -- the long vertical corners where two pieces of trim meet. Build them from scratch and glue that long seam together? Nope! We ordered all of the corner boards from Home Depot. Photos are attached showing the options. (9) If you need to install siding next to your trim, you can create or order 'rabbeted' edges -- a deep groove along the edge of the trim that the siding boards slide into, covering the ends. We cut rabbets into our window trim with a table saw, and ordered rabbeted Azek corner boards through Home Depot. A photo is attached showing what a rabbeted edge looks like. (10) You can mix and match Veranda and Azek trim and use the same screws and glue. Both are cellular PVC. Veranda is cheaper for standard trim boards. Azek offers more options, e.g. corner boards and bead board. (A photo is attached.) (11) Both Veranda and Azek are available with a smooth or woodgrain / 'frontier' surface, to match your house. (12) Store the trim flat and covered at your home or job site, to avoid distortions if they get hot in the summer sun, and stains from leaves, etc. I hope this is helpful. Mark

Excellent product. Very easy to work with.
I used the Veranda PVC trim to construct these rot-resistant planter boxes for our porch. The PVC was easy to cut. Assembly, with PVC cement, was fast and simple. It takes fasteners easily and also took an exterior latex paint well.

    Great product
This product is easy to work with and has enough flexibility to allow for irregularity of surfaces both in and out and side to side. I intalled it around my windows and doors over stucco.

As good as the expensive stuff.
This product is every bit as good as that very expensive name brand that we all know. Ordering by the pack was great. Had the convenience of picking it up at the store, and it was protected by the package for the trip home.

    Definitely recommend this product!
This product looks great and is very easy to install - just cut to width needed to cover fascia board, push up under drip-edge and snap over the soffitt j-channel. No fasteners are necessary.

    Hard to find vinyl fascia
I have been using this vinyl fascia to cover the wooden fascia on my home. It is so much easier to maintain. I purchased a specialty tool that crimps the edge vinyl fascia slides very neatly and tightly under the drip edge, The lower edge of the vinyl fascia fits very tightly around the exposed edge of the 1x8 wooden fascia. NO fasteners are have been used, nor are they needed. A work in progress.

    Excellent product
This product is very easy to use, cuts just like wood. Takes a bit more effort to sand. I would cut with a 60 tooth blade.

    Easy to work with.
This product is light weight, easy to cut to length, I used the cortex nails to fasten the material to the house. I would recommend this product to any do it yourself home owner. As you can see from the photo I used 1x5x8 ft. Boards on all of the corners of my house.

Great water-proof lumber for RV applications
Used a five foot section of this PVC lumber to replace a trim board of contact paper-covered plywood, which was used to mount the SHUB retractable shower curtain and a shower head in an Airstream travel trailer. Plywood had deteriorated due to frequent exposure to water. (Can't believe Airstream designers used plywood in this application, which was only slightly more durable than drywall!) PVC lumber trim was the perfect replacement material for this small project; as it is waterproof, and cuts ... read more and drills like lumber. This "board" will last forever in our Airstream's shower.

This product is high quality at an affordable price. Great Value.
This product cuts and nails like wood, but is more durable. We were having problems with wood bees destroying the wood trim of our storage building, so we replaced it with this product. Low maintenance is of great value.

    Vinyl Trim
This trim cuts well and is easy to install, but contains some very sharp edges. I would advise wearing gloves when you handle it, or better yet, sand or shape the sharp edges. Otherwise, very nice trim. I used it to replace some old redwood trim that after 25 years had rotted, and when I checked on redwood, it was more expensive.

    Very pleased with this product
I ordered five boxes of 6 boards each. Built privacy panels incorporating privacy lattice. While the boards are rather sharp on the edges, they were quite easy to work with and created a really nice end result. I'm ready to buy Veranda sleeves for the pressure treated posts. Should make a really nice fence.

    Perfect product for my application
Used this product to create an arched entry to an outdoor patio.I was able to glue two pieces together to make a large arch. It looks beautiful after painting and no worries about rotting or warping. It was also very easy to cut and accepted screws just like wood. The expense is more than wood but probably worth it considering weathering affects on wood
