Sturdy & beautiful in an Americana sort of way.
Easily installed with two people. It's light enough but unwieldy. my pickup - lot easier on the back. Pricey.
Well built, solid door awning
The instructions were easy to follow, but a bit more detail would be nice (some hardware positions were inferred, but not stated, such as 'step 10, install awning to wall hold-down screws'. As long as you are comfortable with most household projects, this item should be relatively simple to install. Anything longer than four feet will take two helpers to put up.
Looks Great, Very Sturdy
Bought this to keep the sun and rain off a West door.
Instructions are a little hard to follow, could be better.
Actual assembly was easy. A single mounting bar attaches to the house and is easy to level and align.
Be sure to caulk the top of the mounting bar.
Once the bar is on the house you just lift the awning up and hang it on the bar and screw everything together. One man operation.
Delivery to store was quick and easy.
The unit seems flimsy until it is completely installed, then it is very sturdy.
