    Nice window for the price
I installed this window over the weekend. The delivery guys struggled to get the window to my house because the wooden crate was so heavy. I allowed them to remove the crating so they could get it into my house though. The window really isn't that heavy and I installed it by myself with the two sashes removed but I'm sure it'd be a little easier with two people. It is cumbersome though due to it's size. Once the hole is the correct size, it really is as simple as putting the window on the sill ... read more and installing screws in the attaching flange. Then just put your moulding over the flange and you're done. The sashes slide nicely and can be removed in a couple seconds. The view out of this window compared to my old window pane windows is amazing.

    Great Window/Great Price
Window came finally as promised. It was delivered with extensive packing materials, which were used later to install window in space with plenty left over. Windows glide easily and include screen and low argon. I thing it is as good or better window than the Harvey windows I paid three times as much for.

    great window
we purchased this window to replace an old broken window in our bedroom. It installed very simply - i got lucky the hole in the wall was level and plumb. The window is flanged to connect to the sheathing from outside, no screws need to go through the window jamb. i picked up some brick molding, painted it and trimmed the window. job completed easily.

Like these so well I'm replacing all my windows with them
So far, we've replaced 3 windows with this size and model, and another that's 36"W, same model. Very easy to put in and has made a big difference in insulation. They look good, especially with white molding around the window. I'm buying 2 more large ones like this plus 4 smaller ones for the rest of my house. Can't believe they're so inexpensive for what they offer.

    Good for Price
I had to use "shito to store." It came in quick and was packaged very well. Instructions were light but I watched some Youtube videos since this was my first window installation. Overall, very easy installation. It opens and closes easy. I'm definitely satisfied with it, I will admit it's a lower grade window but the price was WAY lower than others at that dimension. I installed three of them in a shed. I would absolutely buy these again. I am not a counteractor but do have intermediate DIY skills.

    Excellent for the price!
Used two of these on my shed. Easy to install, but was not aware of the extra flange on the outside of the frame. This made installation of the siding a bit more difficult. Extra flange doesn't need to be there. Had to get crative with the trim around window.

You get what you pay for...usually.
Having only paid 60 some dollars for these windows I wasn't really expecting too much. I needed to replace 4 rusty and cracked single pane basement windows in my 1940's home and these were the right price for me. The windows were shipped to my home for free, arrived in less than a week and were packaged very well. They are not the highest quality but are solid and keep out the cold and noise and were very easy to install. Remember, these are only $65 windows, but worth every penny in my opinion.

    Very Easy to Install
I don't like that I received them so dirty from the manufacture, but so far I think they are a good window. We don't know what they will be like for winter yet tho.

    Fine Window
One thing I should mention is that the screen fits outside the entire length of the glass, the part that slides and the part that is stationary. Most sliders only have a screen on the side that opens.

    no complaints
Very inexpensive window but it does seem to be built well. Easy install and working just fine. Don't know how long the seals will last but time will tell.

Easy to install, exactly what I needed.
I gutted my entire garage and had to replace 4 windows. This window fit perfectly, was easy to install and didn't break my bank.

I replaced one of my windows with a series 2390 sliding window made by American Craftsman and noticed the differance right away.I plan on replacing all of the windows with the same before next winter.

    American Craftsman 2392 Sliding Window
We had this window unit installed in our basement's secondary egress. The basic window unit is great. However, moles/mice have eatedn dozens of holes in the nylon screen within just a couple of months after installation. The manufacturer needs to provide an option for a home owner to purchase an aluminum screen for use in window wells. Personally, I can never figure out why anyone would want a nylon/fiberglass screen. They just don't stand up . . . especially when there are children in the home.

    Decent Product. Outstanding customer Service!
Despite the window being perfectly crated, the locking latch arrived broken. Also, the part of the sash that you pull to open the window looked chipped. It turns out it is actually machined that way. What I can't get over is the outstanding customer service at Jeld Wen. The agent was attentive to my issues and immediately sent a replacement lock and sash. Even called me to make sure I received the parts. I have found such service to be rare these days, hence my excellent score for a somewhat ... read more average window ---but good for the price. I would not hesitate to do business with Jeld Wen in the future!

    Obscured/frosted glass.
The window was great except for the fact that the glass was obscured/frosted and it didn't say that in the description. We didn't figure that out until the installer came to put it in, which was too late. Otherwise, a great window.

    Excellent Value, Solid Quality
I purchased this 4x8 window for a room remodel. The price for this window was surprisingly reasonable, and I am very happy with it. The window provides great insulation, and it looks nice. It is not a fancy window, but you won't find another window of this size and quality at such a reasonable price. I live in a coastal area, and metal-framed windows tend to corrode. Wooden-framed windows get water-damaged. This vinyl window will probably outlast any other material in my wet climate.
