Modern, simplistic door bell with 16 different tunes to surprise visitors and keep you happy!
This is a very easy to install door bell according to my DH, that is, if you already have wires from another wired door bell. We used this contemporary door bell to replace an old-style wired one. The included instruction booklet has detailed descriptions on how to install this door bell either wired or wireless, and comes with the necessary hardware. Depending on how you install, you do need some tools, such as a screwdriver, pliers, a drill, masking tape and wire strippers.

(the espresso part with white insert) appears to be made of fairly strong plastic and is removed very easily, which is necessary if you want to change the door bell tune of which there are 16 different ones, as well as the volume. So far, we like Beethoven's Fifth tune the best.
In our case, I do find that in order to play a door bell tune or to just ring the door bell, you have to hold the push button in for a few seconds as there is a bit of a delay. This may be because our push button is old. The instructions do indicate that "the door bell will not play the entire musical tune and the TUNE button will not work if a diode is not installed on the main push button." This product does come with two diodes, one of which should be installed inside your push button otherwise the bell will not play a tune.
If you choose to install this door bell wirelessly, the instructions are a bit different and you will need three C batteries as well as a wireless push button, both of which are not included.
This product comes with a 3-year warranty from date of purchase, which covers any factory defective parts and workmanship.
