    Great Outdoor Color Light Bulb
In 2015 I purchased one Red LED light bulb in preparation for outdoor holiday decoration. The Westinghouse LED bulb exceed my expectations for color clarity and energy consumption. That said, I purchased two more of the Red LED bulbs. They arrived in time before Christmas to add more outdoor color to our landscape.

    Upgrade to LED
I wanted to illuminate my house for Christmas and try to save some money on the electric bill as well. This LED flood light does both very well. 100 watt output using on 15 watts per bulb. Now let’s hope they last much longer than incandescent flood lights because of the price difference.

100 watt equivalent green led flood bulbs
I bought 22 of these green flood bulbs for the Holiday Inn that I work at. They are vivid and bright, they really make the hotel look great at night. I used to have to replace burned out bulbs constantly. Now I no longer have to waste my time hauling an extension ladder around the hotel. These LEDs should last many years.

    Very good
Replacing outside security lights. These bulbs fit the existing light. More importantly, it is far brighter than previous light. Hopefully, it will last as long as claimed as it was very expensive.

Beautiful, even light. Easy to install. Smooth dimming.

    Just the ticket
These guys were just what the Dr. ordered, I have an outside light that is on most evenings, & was burning out one bulb consistently. It took me longer to unpackage the bulbs than install them.. They were direct replacements for the PAR 250's I'd been using and actually a little brighter, combine that w/ long life & low cost of operation & you hit the trifecta. The cost was a little high, about half the cost of a new LED fixture, but if they perform as anticipated I should make that back in a ... read more year in energy savings.

Outstanding replacement lights - for 6 inch cans only though
Bought these to replace the can lights in the kitchen. I had gone to CFL floods, but they burned out quickly as they are on a dimmer, and that seems to shorten their lives. Found out that these lights are really more like 5" lights, so they would not fit. I installed them in the basement to replace halogens, and they are fantastic. It took me about 15 minutes to replace the 14 lights. They don't need to warm up, are bright, and can easily dim. Just wish they had the same thing in a 5" light!

Fantastic. Best LED bulb I've ever seen.
The color on these is, I'd say, halfway between a normal incandescent and a Reveal bulb. Very warm and pretty, with good color reproduction. I've written another positive review of EcoSmart LED products regarding their GU10 replacement. That bulb is good enough to warrant the price and the color is acceptable. These bulbs are far beyond that, and worth every penny.

Don’t like CFL light and was skeptical of LED
I had seen LED lights in the store and the light they put off just looked terrible but a friend told me to try one of these lights and i was blown away at the warm bright color light they emitted. So far i have replaced 7 lights with these, not the cheapest investment but its worth it, my AC isn't on nearly as much and the light the put off is just unbelievable, a CFL cant come close. I cant wait for these to come out in other sizes so i can replace my 4" recessed lights as well.

    Different than I expected
I guess the only thing I don't like about the lights is the color. I like a more yellow glow than the white. Other than that they turn on faster and are brighter than the florescents. Not sure about the longevity but knowing how long leds last it should be a lot better. I will definitly be purchasing more as soon as I can find the right color

    LED light bulbs
I like the light given out by these types of bulbs. Makes things easier to see.

    Look great
These bulbs look great. Very modern in an old fixture. I like the way they dress things up. I put one on each end of a 4 light strip for comparison. See photo. One of the others is a clear bulb and the 4th a frosted one. The quality of the light is so superior to the other bulbs. The way the bulb is made means light does not get wasted on the wall behind it but radiates out the sides and front. Who wants to waste energy lighting a wall when you want the light on your face? I am in the process of ... read more switching all our lights to LED.

Exactly what I was looking for. They're bright and attractive. I'm using them in an open setting. They're great!

Love the fact there is almost no heat
I've been switching the light bulbs out around the house over the past 4 years. One burns out and a L.E.D. replaces it. These were purchased for a light fixture over a kitchen table. It was a huge change right away when you didn't feel the radiating heat anymore like you would off the incandessant bulbs. The only problem is they are not as bright as the 60w clear incandessant bulbs that were previously in the fixture.

    Great LED
Tried several other brands and could not achieve the soft feel of an incidecent until I tried these - my wife cannot tell the difference! Have on in a light which stays on 24/7 in a dark area of our kitchen for over a year now.

    Very Bright!
I have been wanting to try these Philips LED bulbs for a while and now I have my chance! I bought these bulbs to use in a new dining room chandelier that I bought from another store. The new chandelier uses 5 bulbs and the bulb wattage to be used can go up to 60 watts. However, a number of other people who bought the light fixture said that using a 60 watt bulb is too bright for the light fixture and that 40 watts is best. I'm glad I read those reviews as it guided in me in buying these 40 watt ... read more equivalent LED bulbs from Philips. They are very bright when they are on at 100% and they light the dining room very well! In fact, I had dinner with a friend during the holiday and she thought the light was too bright and so I dimmed it to 60% and the light level was good! I would definitely buy these again. As you can see by the picture, the bottom half of the bulb is grey and the top half of the bulb is yellow - so it's not the most attractive looking bulb. So, you will want to use this in situations where it's not so visible, like a table lamp with a shade, or an upward facing light fixture that has frosted glass shades. The type of dining room chandelier I got has the bulbs facing up with frosted glass shades, so you don't see them. And I do specifically recommend these 40 watt equivalent bulbs for an upward facing light fixture because the overall height of the bulb is not that long and so the bulb will not protrude out the top of the glass shade.

    Perfect substitute for incandescent.
No discernible difference from incandescent 40 watt. Also comes in a 60 watt equivalent. Both reasonably priced and allow huge electric savings. Fits clip shades fine.

    This is the future! Now.
This light bulb is amazing. Equivalent to a 40W incandescent bulb but draws 8W. You can easily touch this while a regular 40W bulb would toast your hands. Dimming is flawless, too.

I will be replacing all the lights in my home with these bulbs. I like these LEDs.
I had been using Reveal daylight bulbs, but they ended up having a short life span. I noticed that HD had lowered the price on these Phillip LED bulbs, making HD’s price competitive with other sources. I like the cooler coloring, the shape and the way that the light is emitted from this bulb. Most of the light is emitted from the sloped belt on the side of the bulb and a more subdued amount of light being emitted from the end of the bulb. There is definitely a noticeable contrast between the two ... read more surface areas. The resulting light is distributed evenly throughout the room. The more I view the bulbs in the ceiling fixtures that have three pendant frosted white alabaster glass shades, the more I like the total affect. The Daylight 8W LED (40w) bulbs work very well when used in multiple light fixtures. They enhance the colors within the room without being overbearing and just help me feel better. I much prefer the Daylight bulbs over the Soft White bulbs. The color contrast between the Daylight and Soft White bulbs is amazing. These bulbs are solidly made, instant on and dimmable. I am replacing all the lights in my home with either the Philips Daylight 8W LED (40w) bulbs or the Philips Daylight 11W LED (60w) bulbs.

    Perfect LED bulb!
This bulb gives off a bright, white light--a huge improvement over lower-K LED bulbs we have used, which gave off a yellowish light. Plus it fits perfectly in our light fixture (doesn't stick out at the bottom like some LED lights). Very pleased!

Dimmable LED is the way to go!
When you son refuses to turn lights off, the LED bulbs come in handy. Also adds a great amount of light, thus far-very cool.

really great produce and low cost
I had bought many of these bulbs in the past and this quality is really good for the value. The bulbs are really bright and consumes very little wattages. compared to the other brand home depot carry which is $20/bulb, this bulb is pretty much the same except for the price... love it...

    worth the switch
Brighter than the 60W halogens they replaced, and they don't heat up the room like the halogens did. Worth waiting for the order to come in for the less expensive bulbs than in store - and hopefully cheaper on the electric bill.
