    This flooring is beautiful!
This flooring has the distressed finish, and it is awesome! It already has dents, dings, and scratches etched into it and I don't think it will ever show any wear or flaws because of it! We are in the process of putting it in the living/dining room and already added a scratch or two, but it covers right up with a little stain.

    Beautiful, high quality flooring
I am 100% satisfied with this product. Not only does it look great, installation went well and it has held up with zero scratches or dents with our two young children.

    Great value
Just finished installing the flooring and it looks great! Also did a water test with a scrap piece; let it sit with one end submerged in water for 8-12 hours, and then dried it out. I did this 5 times so far, and there is minimal damage to the board (the wood top has swollen grains in less than a dime sized area). A fair amount of unusable pieces were included, but probably right around the expected 5%.

    Gorgeous floor
I installed this floor in my bedrooms and hallway in July 2012. It looks just like the store samples. Beautiful color, not too dark for a hallway with no outside light. Complements any type of decor and colors. I really like the width of the planks. I've never attempted a project like this, but caught on fairly quickly. Felt pads under the furniture protect the surface. Like many other reviews, I do have dogs, but I have had no scratches. There have been a couple of pet accidents but it cleaned ... read more up easily and did not penetrate the surface or leave any stain or marks. Very easy to maintain and keep clean. I would recommend it to anyone.

    Great Deal
I did an extensive amount of research before settling on this product for my entire house. The hand scraped effect is beautiful. The color is rich. The installation is very straightforward. Installs one plank at a time, which was important to me. You don't have the bouncy feel as most floating floors. Very durable.

    Good for the price
Just installed this flooring myself this past week. Was easy to work with and looks very nice.Only time will tell on the wear and tear. It has a fiber board center, witch I wasn't too thrilled about, but seemes to be ok. I found some outher flooring from another company the same size and almost same color that was almost twice the price. It was solid wood no fiber board. So I guess for the price it was a good deal.

We chose this flooring as the focal point of our major home renovation project. We absolutely love the floors, they look beautiful and our contractor said they were very easy to work with and there was very little waste. I am thrilled with this purchase!

    Love this flooring!
We just did a major remodel and installed this flooring. We love it! We have three dogs and the floor is holding up beautifully under the crazy rough housing that goes on. Everyone comments on how beautiful it looks. We are looking at doing the rest of the house with it. Cleans easily, too.

Good value and nice appearing flooring
This purchase was to match an existing flooring in a new addition. We visited the Medford store and saw close matches but this online product was a better match, width, and color. It was delivered on time, safely, and we are satisfied.

    Beautiful flooring
I couldn't be more pleased with this gorgeous flooring. It was easy to install. Not one inferior or flawed board in the many boxes we installed. It stands up beautifully to our 188 pound mastiff, which in itself is a miracle. We highly recommend this product.

This is a beautiful floor, and I purchased it sight unseen. The installation requires a little tapping to ensure a good lock.
All of my friends who see this floor are quite is gorgeous. It looks quite regal and cleans up nicely with a steamer. Many have commented on how much dirt the dark woods show...I don't agree. I went from a light oak hardwood to the java oak and think just the opposite. Great buy!!!

    Beautiful Looking Floor
Beautiful looking flooring! I just put in 500 Sq. Ft. Very easy installation. I wasn't sure about using 3/8" (had to add a thin layer of subfloor under to get it to match up with a tiled floor). Now that it is in I would not have a problem recommending the 3/8" planks. The only complaint I have is one box was labeled correctly but it had the wrong planks in it! I had ordered extra so I will return the wrong material. So make sure you order extra so you will have enough for you project ... read more in case you get a wrong box of planks!

We had HD install this floor in our new home throughout our main level: kitchen, dining, living, hallway, and three bedrooms. (it was installed with the red vapor barrier stuff from HD) We love it. The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is how to clean it efficiently. Hands and knees washing is too time consuming and the swiffer doesn't do a good enough job. Mostly I just vacuum it to pick up the dust and debris and hand wipe up spills in the kitchen. Everyone that sees the floor loves it!

    Awesome look
Product was very easy to install and looks great. No two boards look exactly alike so it makes for a very proffesional looking floor. The only negative is that it seems somewhat soft and scratches easily so furniture felts are a must. Excellent value.

Beautiful maple floor--just know that it comes all the same lengths--NOT RANDOM LENGTH
The first thing you must know is that this wood is all 49" long, every piece in every box. NO RANDOM LENGTHS. Next, you can still achieve a fairly random length look by cutting the end pieces as follows: Cut any length (e.g., 18") off the end of a piece, you'll have two different lengths then to work with. We then hid the cut end under the baseboard, and built the row across the room. At the far end of the row, you put back the piece that you cut off (hiding its cut end under the baseboard as ... read more well), or you create more waste by cutting another small piece. I ordered this online and it was shipped to my house. Delivery was through UPS and was great. The product shipped very quickly. Our hardwood installer followed the above installation method and made every row start with a different length piece. This method goes a long way towards fooling the eye that you are seeing random lengths. Because of the beveling of each piece, you only want to cut the end off where you can hide the cut end under the baseboard. The next issue is QUALITY. Be sure that you check EVERY piece front and back for imperfections. Make a stack of rejects. Final note: the dining room floor is beautiful. Maple is a beautiful wood, and these pieces have all sorts of swirls and whirls which give a lot of visual interest to the floor. Keep in mind that this floor is not distressed looking at all--it has a clean elegant look which suited our dining room perfectly. We are going to buy more to install in the living next month.

Flood looks beautiful installed. I really like it.
The positives - the look of the product once installed in my room. The negatives - about half a box of the wood was milled backwards so could not be used. The local trucking company was running behind- product arrived locally on 8/22/11 but when no delivery as of 8/24, I called and they weren't able to bring until afternoon of 8/26 so I picked up product myself to get my project moving. I would, however, purchases this product again as the results are very attractive.

    easy and beautiful
My wife and I installed the Barrett Distressed Hickory wood floor in our bedroom. I liked the way the panels locked together, the floor and underlayment was very easy to install. There was very little cutting to install , the panels came with a half starter panel in ea. box which made it very nice to stagger seams. The whole floor turned out beautiful, it looks great with the existing wood furniture, We both like it so much I have decided to install the same flooring in another bedroom. We love ... read more the finished look.

    Tremendous Value
Installed 500 square foot of it and couldn't be more pleased. Installation is easy for first-time installers. Will be very attractive to buyers if/when we ever sell home. Baseboard trim and quarter round stained to match the floor color really makes the job impressive! Highly recommend this product to moderately skilled DIY installer.

    Very nice
Professionally installed, took about 30 hours with two installers, over 1000sf. Beautiful color- no red or yellow tones, uniform color with varied patterning between planks. It is a dark wood unless you have a lot of light. Planks alternate thin and thick. Chose this over other click wood options because higher hardness rating. I tried scratching the sample and left a puddle of water on the sample overnight- it dried up and left a watermark that I wiped away. But water in the joint of the ... read more sample did cause swelling, as expected. This is two layers of wood sandwiched around fiberboard. The wood sample eventually dried out again. I thought distressed would be a good choice so I would not be paranoid about the new floor- but it does not give the appearance of a distressed look and I think looks very high-end. Smudges show.
