Have done three rooms, looks great.
easy to install, live on 2nd floor of condo, installed over cork very satisfied. Very little waste, by planning ahead with joint location. Suggest buying all product at same time, as the color varied some from year to year.

    Very nice looks great
Went down easy and looks great. It's a little darker than the sample I got at Home Depot but looks even better than I expected. Make sure you use a good blade to cut. The slats come in various sizes. They are not all one length which worked out great. Good price compare to some of the others I saw.

A great option for a first home upgrade and a weekend project.
This is a great product for a quick, good-looking, and durable floating hardwood floor. For our first home and with limited experience installing flooring, it was fast to come together as a weekend project and fantastic upgrade from the existing low-grade linoleum. The color was a full shade darker/warmer than the free sample we'd picked up in the store, but there was little color variation between the cases and we loved the end result. We'll be continuing the project into the main ... read more living/dining/hallway area early next year. There were more damaged pieces than I would have liked, and I think that could be mitigated by better packing materials. There was a lot of space within the carton for the planks to shift around and the tongue edges were the most beat up. That said, we had enough and then some to do the whole entryway floor (2 cases for about 45 sq feet), so planning for that is key. These cases contained a number of shorter pieces, something that isn't fully described (or at least I didn't register that), so they aren't all 47-1/4" as we intended, which was perfectly okay (less waste for smaller cuts). We just didn't notice until we got through the middle of the first case and saw the shorter boards. Plan ahead: Add 5-10% square footage to account for damage and weird lengths and round up to the nearest case, especially for smaller areas like an entryway or hallway. Make sure you order the matching transitional trim pieces since the stores only stock the most common (oak) varieties. Since we'll be continuing the floor into the living room in the future, we found a piece of oak trim that was on clearance because part of the length was damaged, but it matched close enough for a temporary solution. Lessons learned: 1. Make sure your mitre saw is cutting squarely before you start (didn't notice mine was off until the first several rows were installed). Also, the full plank width is closer to 6 inches, and my 10-inch mitre saw only barely cut through the whole plank. If you're planning on purchasing a mitre saw to complete a project with these planks, a 12-inch saw would definitely serve you better. 2. Take care to make sure your floor is as level as possible. There are some spots where the planks give a lot more than they probably should. 3. Start on the flattest, squarest wall you can. We didn't have a very good gauge of our start wall, and the floor ended up cocked slightly. We were able to pull on it to straighten, but we had more of a gap along the back corner in a closet than we would have liked. 4. Watch those door jamb and trim corners and plan accordingly. We had to fudge one because we had removed the jamb for a prior project and didn't account for the slope of the trim pieces. 5. If you're shooting for a random install pattern, watch your lines and keep aligning cuts 3-4 rows apart.

This product is easy to install
Installs easily. Looks great but be careful, it's very susceptible to damage if you drop something sharp or use very narrow leg chairs.

    Great Flooring
I purchased this engineered wood for my dining room; installed it in one day and it looks great....beautiful wood grain variations make for an elegant appearance. Easy installation also. Would recommend anyone buy this but decline the installation offer from HD. The $397 special on my estimate ended up being a $2,100 labor job for two rooms of this product once they nickel and dimed me to death with ridiculous charges.

    Hard to install
Floor looks great! Only problem we had was that the floor boards did not lock into place very easily.

    Looks great
Floor looks great, only advice would be to use a piece of scrap to gently tap and interlock the pieces together. Otherwise the floor will bow upward

Great Value, Easy to Install, Beautiful Appearance
After scraping the existing floor off I was wary about installing this click-lock flooring. I was shocked at how easy it was to install! After 6 hours we completed ~180 sqft of installation from start to finish. Will need a good underlayment (moisture barrier + cushion) for easy installation but you can't go wrong with this product.

This flooring looks great, feels good and was easy to install.
I installed this over foam padding, as recommended. It snaps together easily and securely. We have used it for about three years, now, and couldn't be happier with it. We also get many complements on it. I have recently used it to face our interior hollow-core doors with a "frame and panel" design - they are awesome!

It doesn't get better than this
The big chain dept stores quoted me five times the price it cost me to buy and install this product myself. Installation was a breeze, believe me if you can put a kids jig-saw puzzle together, you are more than qualified to do this. The final finish was honestly better than I had ever imagined. I cannot express how happy i am.

    Awesome look, easy install
These floors make our home look beautiful! I love the color, dark, but with a lot of light undertones. The install process was beyond easy- my 3-year old son was literally clipping them together himself. We have dropped some heavy things on the floors already (including a giant crowbar whoops!) but they actually are holding up. We already put a little scratch in the floor, but because of the hand scraped look, you can't even tell it wasn't already part of the floor! We love them.

It looks good and they snapped in without any problems.
I purchased as one of the "special buy of the day" and got a great deal. The product is very sturdy; I only noted 2 or 3 damaged pieces (minor) and I was able to install with only causing minor damages to 3 or 4 more pieces. It looks great in my study.

Hickory Dusk 3/8 in. Thick x 4-1/4 in. Wide x Random Length Engineered Click Wood Flooring (20 sq. ft. / case) HICKORY DUSK 3/8 IN. THICK X 4-1/4 IN.
Cant tell difference between this product and a full 3/4 inch hardwood tongue and groove floor. Very easy install and looks great

Very good in all aspects, price, quality, delivery.
I installed approximatley 260 sq. ft. of this product. Some concern regarding observed rough carton handling during shipping but no damage was noted. Only one minor finish defect at end of one section was noted....finish was rubbed while wet. Several cases where wood chips in grooves had to be removed to allow proper engagement. Color match throughout 13 cartons was excellent.

    Would buy again!
Great product overall and easy to install! We received half a dozen boards (out of 500 square feet of flooring) that had cracks or scuffs that we couldn't use. Other than those, we love the quality and look of the flooring. Would buy again.

Very nice flooring, just cheap lookin moulding
Love this flooring. Looks great and after over a year it still beautiful. The one gripe I have is that the transition accessorie mouldings for doorways and meeting the other flooring are very cheap. I would expect real wood that matched the look of the floor. Instead is contact paper on pressed wood. Very disappointing.

    Excellent and very durable
I was very torn trying to figure out what would look best in our house and would hold up well. I am so glad we went with this for the floor. I have a large (75 lb) dog and 2 kids. This has held up great since I installed it a year and a half ago. It did have some creaks at first. This may have been due to the type of underlayment or uneven cement. It has pretty much disappeared after a few seasons. Would highly recommend. Plus it looks amazing. The color is very rich.

    New Home, New Floors
My wife found it and was really sold on the value and the look of the floor. Once it was installed, it looked amazing. We have received so many complements and it works wonderfully with our light wall colors. It feels amazing to walk on and feels very strong and durable. My only issue at the moment is that we are looking for quarter round for the base boarders and it has limited sizes. We may have to paint or look for a quarter round that matches the floor else where.

These floors are beautiful but if your cement is not level in your basement they will creak creak creak. We made that mistake the hard way.

    Beautiful Flooring
This flooring was an easy lay down. We pulled up carpet, washed the cement slab and sealed it. We have pets (2 dogs & 2 cats). The pets absolutely have no purchase on this flooring as they adjust. No scratches thus far. The floor is gorgeous neighbors and friends absolutely love it. We chose this color to go with our slate porcelain tile in the kitchen and foyer. We also re-did the fireplace in real slate and mosaic. It matches oh so well. I will pick the paint colors for the interior spaces a ... read more warm shade of gray. Furniture is leather brown. Yeah HD you really scored on this one.
