    Beautiful floors
These floors have been installed for six months. I was worried about having wood floors with two kids and two dogs but they have held up beautifully! The texture and the variation of color hide most marks. After installation I noticed a couple scratches from furniture being moved back and it was easily covered with a bit of black sharpie and some blending. Not very scientific but it works! They have a British Colonial look to them and I am very pleased!

    Bruce flooring
Excellent. Has the look you just can't get with a laminated plastic finish. No particle board to swell and warp the first time you drop water on it, solid plywood backing. Not cheap but worth it.

Love the look and ease of installation!
I installed this flooring about a year ago and decided to wait to leave a review. I purchased it because I liked the idea of having a plywood(stable) substrate, how the distressed finish looked, and the wide plank. I still love the stuff but I think it is for certain situations and mine would not be one. I installed it in my living room dinning area which gets the most traffic in the house, including my 65 lb dog. The dog easily scratches the finish but being it is a distressed look I can easily ... read more repair it with a black marker and some poly. The biggest con I have found with it so far is that the veneer will separate from the plywood substrate if too much water is allowed to set on the wood. When washing make sure to use as little water as possible, also if you have a dog and they have an accident on it you best be home to clean it up right away. I have spots in my floor that cannot be repaired because of the veneer separation but I knew this could be a problem when I installed it. All in all I think this product would be great in a none animal homes or rooms that do not see a lot of traffic.

    Awesome Flooring (just two issues)
We love the flooring and as a result of the design change it was even easier to install than it was the first time we used the product. This was the issue though. We laid this floor in a room about 2 years ago and loved it so much we decided to continue it through the next room. We ordered the materials and it was only then that we detected a design change. The flooring would join the existing flooring on the long edge but the end joint design would not allow us to use leftover material from the ... read more previous work in the same run (end to end) with the new material. This resulted in the loss of use for a few left over boards. Also about 4 pc (8 feet approximately) of the new material spanning 9 boxes were damaged to the point of unusable. We still love the flooring and would have went ahead even if we had known these things in advance but it would have been nice to know.

Beautiful addition to our home. We love it!!
I installed this distressed finish hardwood floor in my kitchen and breakfast nook about 2 years ago. Last year, I purchased more and installed it in my main bath and hallway. My most recent purchase was to extend it into one of the bedrooms. The distressed finish adds so much texture and beauty to the room, and it hides the fact that I may not have cleaned in a few days (or weeks). It's gorgeous, and I get many, many compliments on it's beauty.

    great looking floor
wow, what a beautiful floor, it by far exceeded my expectations. for the price of 2.79 a sq. foot, I really don't think you can find a better floor, and its made in the USA. Installation is not hard although it is time consuming as it will take longer than a click lock floor, this floor can be installed three different ways, I chose the floating glue together method which as I said is easy but will take you a bit longer, but is well worth it when you see the results. I would highly recommend this floor.

This product has a rich beautiful appearance.
The flooring looks beautiful in person. It is a nice rich color with more modern size plank width. I like the distressed finish, maybe even wish it was a little more distressed to hide scratches. Love the ability to refinish years down the line.

Beautiful and a tiny bit rustic
This floor looks amazing in our bedroom and dining room. We installed it as a floating floor using glue on the joints only. It was very easy to install. We used about 9 boxes so far and only found one piece in all 9 boxes that had damage. The little bit of burnish around the edges really give it a nice and almost rustic look. But not too rustic - it still looks elegant. I absolutely love how it turned out.

    Excellent quality and absolutely beautiful
We installed about 2300 sq feet of the flooring. In all five bedrooms and the living room / dining room. We bought the 1/2 inch thick product. The product consists of five equal layers of wood, making the top maple layer about 2.5mm thick. This is plenty. It is solid and feels great. We used an experienced installer. If you do not want to or cannot install 100% solid wood, then this type of flooring is almost if not as good as solid wood. Don't go cheap on the vapor barrier. We used the Black ... read more Jack product. Things to consider: Remove your trim and replace with new after the floor install. It will look great! Floating for slab type houses works very well. All in all we are extremely pleased (and my wife is the daughter of a house builder!).

honestly, I couldn't be more impressed with this product
i ordered 29 boxes, including a 10% buffer for bad, warped, or very off-color pieces and I easily could have gone with a buffer of 1% for user error only. the color throughout all boxes is uniform, there were no broken, scratched or warped pieces. this floor goes together like a dream--even with several hallways and stairs requiring complex cuts, I was able to lay 560 square feet in a couple of 8 hour days. the floor is soft and quiet, the color and finish is a beautiful, rich honey--neither too ... read more yellow or too red. the hand scraped finish is not overly rustic, so works beautifully with our very modernist decor, but would be perfect in a more traditional home as well. and you absolutely can't beat the price-this floor looks just as good as flooring several times the price per square foot. while I've laid nail and glue down floors before, this would be the perfect floor for a beginner who want a beautiful look. the pieces easily and firmly lock together to make the floor stable and secure. All hardwoods are susceptible to dents and scratches, and this floor behaves as expected.

I have worked with this product before and loved the ease of installation.
I have installed this flooring before and loved how easy it was to work with. We decided to eliminate two more rooms of carpeting so it was a no brainer. The Elmwood handscraped look is spectacular when the room is complete. Installation is a snap, literally, each piece just snaps into another, I didn't need any special tools or have to do any banging on it to get it seated right. Quality and finish are impressive.

great looking flooring w some scratches from wear.
I had this installed in my new but older styled home and am very pleased with the look and feel of the flooring. The floor is now about 6 years old and has worn ok. I do have some scratches and scrapes from normal wear and tear so it has a bit of a distressed look in places that blend in OK cause of the hand scraped look of the elm. I will probably try to recoat the floor soon with a floor poly to fill in the scratches. Thought the poly finish might wear better from the manufacture, but I really ... read more do like the grain, look and hardness of the elm and would install again in another room. I do have several dogs and live near the desert w lots of sand that has helped to scratch up the floor. I was able to find the product on sale and purchased it for a buck a foot off the retail price.

    This is beautiful flooring.
I get compliments from everyone who has ever stepped foot in my house. It was fast installation. Love it.

    Beautiful!!
Once I got it straight to start with it went down real easy and fast, I also wasn't snapping it in correctly. Both of which was might fault. By being longer and wider the flooring was a lot easier to put down and it looks absolutely beautiful.

    Overall a nice product
I used this product as a bar top that will be covered with epoxy resin. It is a beautiful product and if I need to redo my floors at some point, this would be a contender. The only flaw that I can tell is that some of the planks were chipped/broken on the edge which was okay for this particular install because I had so much excess product.

    Great value
Just finished installing the flooring and it looks great! Also did a water test with a scrap piece; let it sit with one end submerged in water for 8-12 hours, and then dried it out. I did this 5 times so far, and there is minimal damage to the board (the wood top has swollen grains in less than a dime sized area). A fair amount of unusable pieces were included, but probably right around the expected 5%.

    This flooring is beautiful!
This flooring has the distressed finish, and it is awesome! It already has dents, dings, and scratches etched into it and I don't think it will ever show any wear or flaws because of it! We are in the process of putting it in the living/dining room and already added a scratch or two, but it covers right up with a little stain.

I am 100% satisfied with this product. Not only does it look great, installation went well and it has held up with zero scratches or dents with our two young children.
