Beautiful maple floor--just know that it comes all the same lengths--NOT RANDOM LENGTH
The first thing you must know is that this wood is all 49" long, every piece in every box. NO RANDOM LENGTHS.

well), or you create more waste by cutting another small piece.
I ordered this online and it was shipped to my house. Delivery was through UPS and was great. The product shipped very quickly.
Our hardwood installer followed the above installation method and made every row start with a different length piece. This method goes a long way towards fooling the eye that you are seeing random lengths.
Because of the beveling of each piece, you only want to cut the end off where you can hide the cut end under the baseboard.
The next issue is QUALITY. Be sure that you check EVERY piece front and back for imperfections. Make a stack of rejects.
Final note: the dining room floor is beautiful. Maple is a beautiful wood, and these pieces have all sorts of swirls and whirls which give a lot of visual interest to the floor. Keep in mind that this floor is not distressed looking at all--it has a clean elegant look which suited our dining room perfectly. We are going to buy more to install in the living next month.
