doesn't! The finish has stayed looking like new.
Over the summer, a friend over-watered some houseplants, leaving standing water on about 10 square feet of this wood floor for about a week while we were on vacation. After letting it dry out completely, it's barely noticeable, with only a few minor surface imperfections. Structurally, it seems completely fine.
Installation was more difficult than we anticipated. While the click and lock is nice, it does not go quickly. Not all pieces interlock easily and it takes some careful selection of pieces and some good, swift knocks with a mallet. Compared to all of the other home projects we've done, installation was about average in terms of effort, but we saved thousands of dollars doing this ourselves. We'd recommend this flooring to anyone considering installing hardwood floors themselves or having a professional install this flooring.
