    Looks good, easy to install
This floor is super easy to install. The main thing is to make sure the underlayment is completely flat. In my case, in order to get it to match the level of the surrounding floor, ceramic tile on one side and hardwood on the other, I leveled the underfloor with compound, then screwed down 5/8" MDF to the top of it and applied 1/8" cork to the top of that. Any cracks in the underlayment will eventually show up in this floor if you don't spend a lot of time getting that ready. Once that's ... read more ready, all is well. These snap together and are reasonably flexible. It's easy to cut an end piece to size just by scoring it with a utility knife and snapping off the excess. Even strange cuts are fairly easy to make just by scoring the top of the tile and then snapping the unwanted bit off.

Not as easy as it looks
Difficult to install, mostly because the locking tongues appear to be to short. Because of this the sections separate very easily during installation, particularly when there is even the slightest unevenness in the foundation. I installed mine over a basement floor that was previously carpeted and damaged when our basement flooded. I laid it directly over the the concrete floor with only a vapor barrier in between as recommended (not in the instructions) I had to prowl the internet for that information.

    Easy installation
The material was easy to work with. I did the cutting and my wife installed the tile. This tile matched very close with the bamboo flooring we are planning for the balance of the house on the ground level. We planned on using it in the new laundry room, and then we installed it in the Florida room as it is water proof. We opted for the use of a jig saw to make the intricate cuts.

Most durable floor we have ever had!!
RENT THE 100 LB FLOOR ROLLER ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED LAYING THE FLOOR!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!! It makes the seal perfect and its like $20 for a 4 hour rental. We just run up to home depot and rent the roller once we are done laying the floor. We have laid this flooring twice now in our house and have not had a single issue with it. We have bought both the regular and contract version of this flooring. The only difference is the contract version seems to have a little more textured surface ... read more (not very noticable) and a wider grip strip. The designs and patterns in the planks are exactly the same on both. The residential version does seem to carry a longer warranty than the contract version. We have two large lab's with crazy nails that cannot destroy this floor plus two small grandchildren who constantly drop (throw) things and there is not a single imperfection in our floor after a year of it being down. This is the best flooring we have every had, EVER!

This flooring was so easy to install and looks absolutely beautiful! Nobody can believe it isn't real wood. We did our entire upstairs (1600 sq ft) with it and could not be happier!

    Beautiful and Easy
I needed to replace the tile in my dining room and wanted a grey floor, and found this! The color is beautiful and the floor looks and feels amazing! Every time that I walk on my floor or even just look at it, I'm amazed that it isn't real wood! Love, love, love it! Installation was really easy - covered about 800 - 900 square feet (alone and a first timer) in just over three hours. Aside from being super sore from getting up and down, the install was great!

    Great Product
This product was great! Super easy to install. The only hiccup was that I did not acclimate the product for the the rooms I was installing it in first so the was some shrinking and expansion after it was installed which is pretty typical. The surface of the product does scratch and scuff very easily so it is a be careful not to slide anything across it type of flooring. Otherwise it is a amazing product and was perfect for what I needed

    great flooring option
This is a great option for kitchens and bathrooms. I have used it at home and in multiple rental units. It is easy to install yourself. It takes time, but it is easy to do. It is a great option for areas that might get wet. It wont curl up from water like most laminates. The pieces go down one at a time and must connect to each other. take time to think about where you will start in the room once you get the flooring home.

    LOVE IT!
Contrary to the other review we had very little waste. I think it depends upon the size and shape of the room. This was an affordable floor that gives an expensive look. I am in LOVE with it! My husband and I installed this ourselves. It's pretty easy to do. We watched the youtube video before beginning installation which was helpful. Just make sure the floor is clean and no nail pop ups. You can feel the bump if you try to cover it. I would definitely recommend this flooring. Very Happy!

Hello! Love this product! Easy install , looks so good when finished! Really looks and feels like wood. In fact the people that came over want it for their home and thought it was the real thing. They could not get over the fact it wasn`t real wood. The ease of install was remarkable. It also stands up to a lot of traffic. Having boys in the home and to be able to stand up to that rough housing is remarkable also!

    Allure Plus….looks amazing
I have just installed about 1000 sf of the allure plus cherry vinyl planking in my kitchen, dining room, foyer and all the bathrooms. I have never laid this product so I enlisted the help of a buddy. Together we knocked it all out in a weekend. The hardest part was getting started. Finding the start point required a little math and creativity. Also, get a good pair of snips and play around with the extra pieces until you figure out how the material responds to the cutters. This will save you ... read more time and money. Oh and use the wax paper included between each sheet to make templates. Bingo and enjoy!!!!!!!! My wife loves it.

    best thing EVER!
I wish this flooring had been around when we'd done the rest of our house in laminate. I actually like the look of this better than the laminate and, with 3 dogs, love the idea that it is waterproof. Super easy to install. Only 2 slightly damaged pieces in the 7 boxes we used, but we were able to use them anyway when we needed cut pieces inside a closet. Will definitely be using more of this product in the future.

    Looks great.
I had decided that I would install this floor on my own (something that I had tried before with a laminate floor and failed at) and was delighted when I found that I could do it. It looks great and was easy enough to install, even for a person with a flooring disability.

    Buyer beware
I just put this flooring in everyroom in my house. Love the waterproof aspect as I have pets and kids. It looks beautiful however it scratches very easily. I am one week in and lets just say never move anything in the room. I have also noticed where the boards meet (top and bottom) they can either gap or buckle. For me it will work for now but too expensive to scratch this easily.

    Quality product-looks spectacular
Beautiful end result! done in a weekend! Previously had carpet installed in the basement--this flooring is a much more finished look-easy to install-would recommend for any basement!

    An excellent product
I was nervous about making accurate cuts around door casings and installing the floor on my own. I had to cut every plank because of how & where I installed it. It took me a long time to do, but worth it. It looks great. I used the paper sheets to trace the cuts I needed to make, as they won't stick to the adhesive. 2 concers: high heels may leave marks & if it gets too wet, I'd be concerned about the seams. But, so far so good. I am very happy with this product after 2 weeks of seeing it installed.

    Even better than expected
My sister and brother-in-law installed Allure flooring last year and highly recommended it, so I investigated it. I bought Edge Maple because of the unusual design, and it has been everything I hoped for. The look is fantastic. Truly easy to install, including trimming tiles to fit. There is little room for adjustment, but if you take care, it goes together beautifully. I installed over linoleum. I used it in living room and halls, but may carry through to bedrooms as phase two. Note: This stuff ... read more is heavy; I ordered 25 boxes and was surprised to find it weighed 1,000 lbs and required commercial delivery, although the delivery man and I were able to push the pallet jack up my driveway. You definitely want to be home to receive it!

    Beautiful and easy to install
This floor has a unique look and is really lighter than in the pictures. It looks very much like aged wood. The installation was easy after the first row and after I got the hang of it. It takes some planning especially in a small room so that all the seams are not in the same place because only the end planks can be cut. Cutting the planks to size was easy after I learned the score and snap method. It looks great and I love that I don't have to worry about water like you do with real wood.

    This floor is great!
We bought this flooring for the kitchen. We needed something durable for the dogs and water resistant for spills. I found this floor online- they don't carry it in the store or even have samples in the store. So we bought it sight-unseen. The first things you should's nowhere near as dark as the sample picture looks. We were hoping it was, but it's still very pretty. It's detailed and looks great. (I added a couple pictures. Please excuse the messy kitchen, but we had to pile the ... read more stuff somewhere!). Once the first row was complete, it was a simple job. It took 1 person 3 hours to do 350 square feet. We ordered 10% too much to be safe....and have 10% left over! The floor has been down 1 week now. None of the pieces are coming up and there aren't any scratches. We slid the appliances around and it didn't bother anything. So far, its great. It made a huge difference in the kitchen, and we would definitely buy it again.

    Terrific product!
This is a really nice product. I purchased it for a 1/2 bath reno I was doing. It went down very easy and looks terrific! I did have a few learning curves - more my fault than the product - and did have difficulty laying some of the planks but I know it was due to the size of the room (really small 3'x5') and not the product. I will definitely be purchasing more when I redo my kitchen and other bathrooms, and possibly my basement...

    Fast and easy installation
Have used this product previously and it has worn extremely well. My daughter and I put a floor down on a 14 x 8 foot loft in about 45 minutes !!

    Love this product
We have completed three rooms with this. The first room has had it in over a year and it still looks wonderful.

    Love This Flooring
We purchaced this for our bedroom to try out the product. I have wanted to try the Allure for several years, but my husband was not sure if he would like it. We had little difficulty with the install. It looks much better than laminate, deadens sound, looks like real wood, and is easy to clean. We like it so much we plan on doing several more rooms.
