    Great Look
Was going to install myself but chickened out and glad I did. Installer was not from Home Depot. He said this was an extremely hard wood. Had to substitue nailers as the first few rows were so difficult. Two guys. Said this was usually a 3-4 hour job. Took two hours first day and almost 7 the second day. Woould not hesitate to purchase this again. It looks great.

Hard as a Rock with a learning curve
Although I did a lot of research on this product, nothing prepared me for the weight and density of the Bamboo. I went with a staple down install and it took a while to learn the nuances of the stapler but once that was learned, The product went down and is very good looking and solid underfoot. I decided to do my upstairs as well now!

This product has a great look that will match a lot of homes decore
Excellent flooring, the only down fall is that the finish will scratch easily but the floor is rock hard.

    Looks beautiful.
Beautiful, hard flooring, put it in my bathroom and will be putting it into the hallway and on stairs. It's so hard it does have a tendency to split when nailing in. I love it though.

Looks nicer than we expected - makes noise
I installed a 12 X 14 room with this product and I'm really pleased with the look. I was concerned that it would look like a cheaper laminate when installed, but I think it has a much richer look. Installation was quite easy with a power compound mitre saw to make the end cuts. I highly recommend this and note that a table saw is nessesary for the first and last rows. My floor is far out of level, and as a result this floor makes noise when I walk on it. It has a soft crackle to it. I actually ... read more pulled the whole thing up and put down a more expensive underlayment to see if that would help. It may have, but only slightly. I think I would have to completely level the floor with leveling cement to eliminate the sound.

A little expensive but worth it ...
Purchased almost 500 square feet worth for project. Boxes are pretty heavy so be prepared for a workout to move them. Instructions come in each box. The boards click together very easily. Less than 10 boards had somewhat lighter coloring than the others or minor marks that made them undesirable for installation. Not bad given I ordered 448 boards in a total of 28 boxes.

    Excellent product! Easy to install.
The flooring seems well made. I used the most expensive vapor barrier because I was installing the flooring over a below-grade concrete slab. The vapor barrier not only will prevent moisture damage, but also provides padding and noise reduction.

    looks great, easy to install
This was the third engineered bamboo floor I have installed. This product from Home Depot was the most expensive of the three, but clearly the best quality, too. The color of the wood is a pleasant warm tone. There were only a small number of unusable pieces, most with damaged edges from shipping. Installation was easy, this 200 sq ft room took less than a day. I will likely use it again. No scratches, I was able to damage the sample only when I used a knife. Dog has been all over it with no visible effect.

    Beautiful flooring
installation is very easy and the look is better than expected. It has a hardness rating of five but it will scratch if you do not have padding on all furnature

Love the look and feel of my new floor!
The only thing I have a comment about is shoe molding and transition pieces should be made available for all colors of this flooring. I had to purchase two of the expensive stair nose molding in the antique finish that my floor man had to cut down and modify to use for the wood to tile transition and I purchased two of the only other transition piece available in the antique finish for my floor man to cut down and modify to use for the wood to carpet transition...there was a lot of waste of ... read more materials and money to get the proper transition look...did not want to use other mismatched wood or metal transition as it would cheapen the whole look of the floor. The stair nose had to be ordered three times because when received, it was cracked/busted on one end...third time was a charm. Also the last six inches on the ends of the stair nose and other transition piece was wasted as it was where the pattern started again with a line and it didn't look good, so if there is a way to not have the pattern start again in the pieces, it'd be great.

    Most Bang for your buck!
Great product. Easy to install, doesn't sound hollow like most floating floors. We put it in our kitchen, and plan on installing in our dining room, too. We have 2 teens, and they want it in their bedrooms also. One of the few things that my entire family agrees on! **Make sure you obey the note to put felt on the bottoms of chairs, etc

    Excellent product
This product is easy to install. The square footage per box is accurate and you have little waste if measured correctly. We have put this floor in our entire house.

Softer floor, but looks very nice and great price/product for a low traffic room.
Initially when I looked at the flooring out of the box I was skeptical at its appearance. It looked fine, I just didn't know how it would look in our particular room. After installing, I can say I am quite happy with this purchase. You can see the attached picture of the final results in our roughly 15 x 15 ft bedroom. It looks way better than expected. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 is because the bamboo is definitely soft. If you plan on dropping or dragging sharp objects on this ... read more floor you will definitely scratch it (I dropped my hammer during installation and the metal part definitely scratched it). However, we knew this going in (home depot lists it as a 2 out of 5 on their hardness scale). The softness is not a problem for us because it is in a low traffic room (our bedroom) and we are careful with our furniture (don't drag it and cover feet with pads as extra precaution). Anyways if you don't mind the softness of the wood it is a great price as well as good for the environment. My dad and I did this over the course of 4 days (he has experience doing this in his house as well) so installation went smooth. Like with most hardwood, the color of the pieces varies from box to box slightly so make sure you pull from different boxes while you placing the pieces so you don't get to many off colors in one spot. The only other thing I can think of that might be relevant is that I have not tried cleaning it yet. I am pretty sure with this type of wood a lot of moisture is bad for it (so don't think you should wet mop it). So I would recommend researching that and getting the correct cleaning product for this type of floor.

Very good floor solution for a beach house at a very good price!
There was a little too much variation in color. You have to be careful that the installer makes sure you are not putting too many "light boards" or too many "dark boards" in clusters. if you mix them properly, you get a great result.

    This is an excellent product.
We are so pleased with our bamboo floor. The Harvest color matches our existing oak trim perfectly! It looks fantastic and is very tough stuff. We have had it down about 1 month and have not found a single scratch. We have a small very energetic dog and we were concerned about scratches. So far so good. It is easy to install and I did not find one bad board out of 52 boxes. I would recommend you purchase all of your trim needs from the same company. Very nice trim. However, I would recommend ... read more pre-driling or gluing the trim. I tried to use a trim nail gun and the nails bent over and sparks flew! You can not dent the trim with a hammer! Very impressive.

We were very pleased with this product.
We had Home Depot install the flooring and it was completed in one day. That included a kitchen and family room on a concrete base. The noise of the padding underneath only lasted a couple of weeks and now we only hear a pop every now and then. I have dropped a couple of canned goods on the floor with absolutely no marking. Cleaning up is a cinch with the microfiber mops & a quick rubbing on bad spots with Mr. Clean Extra strenth. The flooring is beautiful and we are very pleased with it.

    Great product
A friend and I installed over 500 square feet in about 1.5 days. Very easy to work with. We didn't find a single bad board in 26.5 cases. The new floor is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could say something negative, but it just wouldn't be true!

Mix your planks for seamless beauty
I love my floors, I really do. I'm telling all my peeps I love both halves of my room... :-) Remember to mix the planks from different boxes so you don't end up with a dividing line where one box left off and the other started up.

    Five Star Flooring!
Although we considered other click and lock engineered products from HD, the Hand Scraped Woven Ashford fit all our requirements to a T. Bamboo is a very hard flooring that will not easily dent or scratch like soft wood flooring. We have over 700 sq. ft of product so we wanted a flooring that was also easy to install. The attached picture is one of our walk-in closets. We wanted value and after researching numerous websites and manufactures we came to the conclusion that this product gave us the ... read more biggest bang for the dollar. Lastly, it looks fantastic and much more expensive than the actual cost.I would highly recommend this product for any do-it-yourselfer or professional installer.

Looks good for now. Decent price
The true test will be how the floors will last from scratches and water spills . Overall good for now. I treat this as a medium cost laminate at $2.39 sq ft but better than a regular imitation laminate surface because this floor has real bamboo as the surface .

    Easy Install, Looks Sleek
It took us 3 hours to install this flooring in an attic bedroom - including the padding we laid underneath. It went really quickly, with the only tricky part being where we had to saw it to fit around and into the closet. The new flooring brightens up the space and looks high-end. The only caution is that it is now pretty slippery. We'll be laying a rug down, though. I love it!
