    Awesome fan
What a difference this fan made in our bathroom. Fantastic function and the dual modes work great. I bought another for the 2nd bathroom.

    Good Exhaust Fan
I had a constant problem of getting family members to turn the exhaust fan on when taking showers. Mold and rust were constant problems. What I love about this fan is that it has a humidity sensor that automatically turns on and off as needed. That part works great. I also installed a special switch by Leviton that has a removable key switch so that it will not accidentally get turned off. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that it has a slight rattle to it when it runs. It is ... read more way quieter than what I had before. I do think it is a little on the pricey side for this unit, but overall felt it was a good value. I have bought a second one for my other bathroom and hope to install it soon.

    Quiet and great features!
This fan was easy to install. Very quiet and easy to toggle from regular fan to humidity fan. In the humidity mode the fan will turn off by itself when all the moisture is out. Also, there are two different lights to determine which mode you are in.

    The 2nd One Works Perfectly!
The first fan I received was faulty. It made a loud clacking sound and a whistling noise. The friend who installed it said the fan was hitting the "squirrel cage", and so causing the noise. I left the first fan in while reordering another, so that I still had a fan and not a large hole in my ceiling. The second fan arrived, but the box was dented in a few places, as though it was dropped or something dropped on it. When I opened the box, the fan seemed fine but the grill cover was scratched up ... read more a bit. The second fan worked fine, I exchanged the scratched cover on it with the first fan's cover, and the replacement fan has worked as I had hoped for the last month +. Pros: Very quiet; I can barely hear it come on. It does the job of sensing when the room is too humid, and it turns on and off by itself. I haven't seen any black mold forming in my bathroom, which was a major problem in the past. It's energy efficient. I received a discount off the original price when I had to reorder another fan. Cons: Lack of care in shipping. Having to reorder another fan because the first one was faulty. Now that I have a good working fan, I'm very happy I bought it!

    Love it!
This fan/heater is terrific. Had it professionally installed. The fan is super quiet, yet strong. The heater works great. I could stand under it all day!

so quiet. heat fan warms perfectly.
the unit runs very quietly. on a few cold mornings this fall the heat fan was so very nice. I like that the light, night light, vent and heat are all in one unit.

    GREAT unit
The fan is very quiet and does a great job of removing the moisture. I love the heater to. It blows the heat into the bathroom not just at the top of the room like my previous heater. Lights work great too for my bathroom. Very happy with this unit and the price from Home Depot was by far the best of all the places I looked.

    Bathroom Fan - Great Value
I needed a through wall fan for a bathroom in my 1880 house and the price was right! Surprisingly, its not as loud as I would have thought. I couldn't be happier with this fan. It's not a easy fan to install. You have to be handy and have general home maintenance skills to install correctly. I junked the switch they give you. Wired in an old work box with a motion timer switch, now it turns off by it self 5 minutes after you leave the room. The exterior shroud could have beefier insulation tape ... read more to make a better seal. I may replace it in the fall to better keep the outside air from drafting in when its not in use.

Perfect replacement for old-style thru-the-wall kitchen exhaust
I have a thru-the-wall kitchen fan exhaust system that was installed late 1960's. The fan (Nu-Tone) had definitely run it's course. Was pleasantly surprised to come across this replacement when searching on the HD website. It fit perfectly, and makes a lot less noise than the old one. Plus, it came with a black outside vent cover (that I didn't see mentioned in the description), that matches my black window shutters. A definite improved look than the old re-painted many times original cover. It ... read more took the electrician less than two hours to remove the old unit and install the new one. I'm sure a competent DIYer (not me) could do the job.

    Bathroom exhaust
Takes a good 30seconds to come on then it's truly whisper quiet.

    Nice and Quiet
This fan is so much quieter that the one replaced. Love the LED light - nice and bright. My only concern is the 30 second delay for the fan to turn on- I'm using this in a vacation rental and I think I'll need to leave a note at the switch (unfortunate) because renters won't know. I haven't called customer care yet so perhaps this delay can be taken care of.

    Best manufacturer imo
I've used Panasonic bath fans before in my last house . They are a well built product. I wired this fan with a switch to the light only and power to the fan motor direct using the motion detector to cycle it from constant ventilation to high ventilation. With this type of wiring the fan will always switch to high CFM when someone uses the bathroom and it will always shut off at my selected time off delay without relying on children or guests to switch it on.(or off). The light is very bright ... read more without being annoying and the fan works flawlessly Very pleased

    Light fan combo
Bought the same brand as the previous fan that was there (hunter). Was able to swap out the new fab motor and keep the existing box in the ceiling. Easy to install works great. Aesthetically pleasing.

    Great Product
Installs easily replacing old existing fan/light. This fan is much quieter, and moves the air really well. Well worth the money spent

    Very Quiet Exhaust Fan
Easy to assemble. Nice looking product. Only problem I had was the location of the holes where the mounting screws are. They were located too high to screw into the rafters. So I used the side holes which are lower and drove some screws in there.

Not whisper quiet as others stated.
We were disappointed in the fan because of the other reviews saying it was whisper quiet. I have heard louder but it is by no means quiet. The fan works very good at pulling odor out...which is the main reason for having it.

    Lives up to its name.
We use to have a previous model by Nu-tone which isn't made anymore but were recommended this model and it works perfectly. It's silent thus creates a soothing environment in the bathroom.

This bathroom fan has exceeded my expectations.
I had two bathroom fans that were old, very noisy and in dire need of replacement. I reviewed your products online, chose the QTREN110 Fan for both bathrooms and installed them myself. The fans are very quiet, energy efficient, stylish-looking and were easy to install.

    Great light and fan.
I really like the low profile look of this light/fan. The fan is extremely quiet. The light is just right for a small bathroom.

Best exhaust fan selection for a small bathroom
My bathroom needed 52 cfm, based on the sqft rule. I opted for the 80, for that little more airflow, and the sound rating (quieter than the 50). We both love the fan for the low noise and the nice look. It does make noise, but pretty much anything else will make more noise than the fan. Also, this fan does not have a sensor, but I used one from HD, and it works perfect. The sensor default settings allows for auto on with humidity, and turns off 10min after its below the set point...manual on is ... read more one for 10min, then off. Very nice upgrade, though not inexpensive. My only complaint for use will be in changing the bulb when it burns out, I would suggest installing an LED so you never touch it again. You will need a step ladder to easily hold the cover while trying to insert the spring/clippy things that hold it up....it does hold it snug, so no gaps, and no risk of falling....once you can get it in place. There is a nightlight, but very little space, and didn't need it (does not come with nightlight bulb, only the main one) I contemplated docking it a star for installation and the other issues, but since that only accounts for a small part of the ownership, instead I will just complain about it. Installation/mounting the thing was a b.....bear. First off, the slide things are near impossible to slide once in place. I'd suggest using a ruler/tape to measure the gap from the fan to the stud, and then set the distance....I had to use the hammer to move it after a short distance. Also, you will need a lot of clearance for installation...I was in a edge of a slopped roof I had many choice words in a hot attic. If the rails had been screwed to the fan, installation would have been sooooo much easier. Side note, the rails do screw to the studs....once in place, hanging from the screws, add another one at the bottom of the slot (key hole type pattern) BEFORE you attach the light fixture....or you will just push it up and out, and need another trip to the attic.

    Phenomenal value
Anyone who is mechanically inclined should be able to install one of these. Little time consuming, but well worth it. Tad bit louder than the 50cfm unit, but still totally bearable. As our old one sounded like a Cessna landing in the bathroom! Does a wonderful job expelling steam, and toxic odors!
