    Size specs are incorrect
Panasonic fans are far superior to the usual fans you will find in the big box stores. I have the 150 cfm model at .3 sones. That's right Point 3. I took back the 110's because the stated specs are 16-14/16 by 14-4/16. The actual dimensions are 13 x 13, too small for my ceiling hole of 14".

    Quieter than expected!
Purchased to replace standard 8x8 bathroom exhaust fan. Definitely will be doing the other bath very soon. Had to enlarge existing hole by 2.25" on 2 sides. Separated the metal exhaust / electrical housing unit from black box. Placed metal piece in new hole first, then slid in the box. YOU DEFINITELY NEED AN EXTRA SET OF HANDS (one in the attic, one to hold fan in place)....IT WILL HELP!!! Once back in the attic, I clipped both pieces back together and re-installed ground screw from the bathroom ... read more side. (THERE WAS A LOT OF UP AND DOWN THE LADDER TODAY...LOL). Secured brackets & extensions to studs / 2x4's. Wired up the electrical box, installed (dryer) exhaust tubing, double checked everything then flipped the breaker then the switch. PERFECT....Much quieter than your standard exhaust fan. Bathroom is 8'x5' (40 sq ft) and it's recommended for rooms up to 110 sq ft (roughly 10.5 x 10.5). The bathroom never got steamy even with a very hot shower. Although the bathroom door was closed & steam was still on the mirror after the shower, it gone within 2-4 minutes. A MUST PURCHASE TO REPLACE STANDARD EXHAUST BOX FANS.

    Great fan for the price
The fan arrived in four days. It was easily installed and worked great. The CFM is more than double builder grade fans and really moves air. This is a great deal.

    Replacement Ventilation Fan
This fan was not sold in the store. The online description indicated 110 cfm, which was needed to replace the 70 cfm fan in the basement bathroom. I installed a shower in that bathroom, which needed a bigger fan. Easy to install.

    Nice Looking
We got this fan because we wanted a quiet fan, full lighting feature (Night Light /Light), and something that looked nice. I guess 1 out of 3 isn't all bad. Installed sound is about 1.5-2. If you get a humidity sensor switch (which I need - Kids Bathroom) - forget about night light feature. If you get this fan everyone will tell you - you should have bought the Panasonic (any Panasonic). Pro - Nice looking Con - Should have better instructions and switch recommendations. Could have a quieter ... read more motor/fan. What good are features when they are difficult to get setup because of lack of application notes/help.

    Looks great, quiet
Replaced a bathroom fan which was installed just a couple years ago with this one because we wanted more light in the bathroom and the previous fan was not the quietest. I installed this fan with the 6" solid metal duct and could not believe how quiet it is. Also, the blue light is great for nighttime when a white light is just too much. The only down side is another wire with more conductors must be installed. In my case I was able to do this with minor modifications to the Sheetrock... ... read more but was simpler yet because I was doing a bathroom remodel. I recommend this fan 100%.

    great fan so far
Appears to be fairly powerful yet really quiet, especially compared to the one I replaced. It arrived earlier than estimated, which meant it sat on my porch for a weekend. Installation was easy since I was replacing an existing fan. The only issue I encountered was that remounting the motor with the 3 screws was somewhat of a challenge when the unit is upside down. A magnetic screwdriver, which I don't own, would be a great help. Overall, a great purchase.

    Quality Product-Good Value
Fan works as described, removes steam from compact bath room. Installed by professional, no problem. Very quiet and seems efficient.

    as expected
This fan was reasonably easy to install. It fit in the same hole as the original fan with no cutting, and all the connections were in the right places. The fan is much quieter than the one it replaced, but not so quiet that it needs a light to indicate that it's running. The soft start is a little unnerving at first -- nothing immediately happens when the switch is flipped on. It moves an adequate amount of air -- much better than the fan it replaced, but not enough to prevent some fogging on ... read more the mirror during a long hot shower.

    Perfect Fam
it is nice and quiet, large and functional finally. The last one we had just made alot of noise and still all the condensation remained on the mirror & walls. This cleans it all up quickly

    Long Term Review
Bought this fan for a 5x8 bathroom in a humid climate (Pacific Northwest rain forest) ten years ago. It finally died yesterday. Fan was very quiet, and moved enough air to prevent condensation on the bathroom mirror. Previous fan was a standard contractor-installed generic model that was noisy and ineffective (70 cfm). Will probably replace the recently departed fan with another Panasonic.

    fast shipping
Shipping was quick, and no damage was found. My architect and general contractor recommend me this particular exhaust bath fan for the master bathroom (200sf). Homedepot is my reliable place to shop for remodeling.

    Keep'n it fresh!
I added this fan in my side wall (2x4 studs on 16 centers) next to my toilet to vent out those great smells. Works great!

Great fan, a little noisier then expected but a good value and met the size restrictions I had

    Bought a second one!
Bought one for our guest bath and liked it so much we bought another for the master bath. Quiet fan - starts out slow then ramps up so if you're in and out of the room you never hear it at all but runs quietly when up to speed - not totally silent but just a background noise. Nice bright LED light.

A very nice Led exhaust fan
The installation went fairly easy. It hooked up to existing fan and light switches. It is loacted in a laundry room and the LED is bright and a quick turn on. The fan is very quiet and does a good job of moving Air. The price was reasonable and I'm glad I picked this unit over my original choice of a Hampton product that required some wiring changes as the unit was DC controlled at the switches and would require additional wiring to get 120v power up to the unit itself.

    Great Fan
I have had this fan installed for a few weeks now and am very happy with it. I can easily hear my music over it, in fact if it was any more quiet we would forget to turn it off. The LED light is very bright. Installation was typical for a fan installation.

    more than expected
loved price, larger than one I replaced and does better in circulating air in bathroom, would have preferred quieter but would have had to sacrifice power. Seems good quality.

Quiet, quality fan that circulates air very well!
I have always liked Hunter products and have owned several of their ceiling fans. When I saw this on sale at Home Depot and after reading good reviews, I purchased it. No disappointments! The installation of the fan was not difficult and instructions were clear. The fan is extremely quiet and recirculates bathroom air well.

    Not as quiet as expected
Based on it's Sones rating, I was disappointed that it was louder than expected. It does work very well in circulating the air in the bathroom.
