    Love this light fixture!
Purchased this light fixture for our up north cottage. Shopped around for quite some time but kept coming back to this one because of the charm and reasonable price. Easy to install and looks great! Wish they offered a matching light post fixture. It is nice that the fixture comes in 2 sizes, we ended up buying the larger one and it looks great!

    Great looking, sturdy collection
I got six of these for inside my new screen porch, one of the larger for outside, and adapted the three light semi flush mount fixture for a ceiling fan. They look great, and they seem sturdy enough. At about half the cost of other lodge-look collections I found, they still look like a higher end design. They are unique in comparison to the usual bear and pine tree silhouette fixtures you see everywhere.

    Works great!
Very happy with this purchase. The dusk to dawn feature is very good. Attractive look. The bulbs are a little tricky to install but work great.

    Beautiful
We purchased this to match our porch lighting and it matches perfectly! I love it!

Good looking, good price, but require special bulbs.
Don't be fooled thinking these use standard base bulbs. I had to make a trip to my local Home Depot to purchase correct CFL bulbs with dual pin base connections. The bulbs ran me another $15. But they look great on either side of my garage.

    Looks Great
Love this light, looks great at our front door. We had Brass lights up that were 12 years old, WOW what a difference with these up. Inspect them as soon as they arrive, we had to return 2 of them due to missing pieces, broken globe.

Westport Collection White 1-Light Wall Lantern
Great addition to any house, adds a lot of eye appeal to the house. Replaced some "gold plated" one wtih this on my Red Brick houose, what a diffference. Of course I installed LED bulbs to reduce the energy use. All waorks great to gether!

    Great LED value!
Great value. Lights easy to install, bright and best of all energy efficient LED. Bought 6 lights for exterior of my home. Classic updated design.

    Great looking light.
Nice looking light, and bright enough to light up our deck at night so we can see where we are going, but dim enough to not upset the neighborhood, I would say it's probably equivalent to about a 50 watt traditional light, its LED element shines downward but with a pretty nice outward spread pattern so it provides light over the surface of our 25x20 deck.

    Outside lights anew
It was so nice to have new lights to replace my old brass ones. The LED bulbs are also great so I don't have to worry about replacing them for a very very long time. Installation was easy. I'm buying 4 more to finish my outside.

    Nice uplighting and nice size
The lights provide light from the top and bottom and they are a nice size, some I have seen are way too small.

    Nice look!
A nice, sleek looking light that should go with any number of paint colors and schemes. The fixture is glass so you will want to take care not to mount the light too exposed to such as hail or high winds but the glass is thick and feels sturdy to me. Not something delicate that might shatter at the least provocation. Comes with mount hardware and if you do basic home wiring, it's a straightforward replacement of an existing fixture in most cases. For "new work" where no existing electrical box ... read more is located, you'll of course want a qualified professional. In my case, I was replacing an existing fixture. No new wires nor electrical box. The electrical box was dusty and a bit cob webby. Also the existing hardware was in good shape but did not quite fit the new fixture so I pulled it and replaced with the hardware that came with the fixture. The hardware that came with the light allows you to adjust by "tilting" the middle cross bar. A nice convenience given that some parts of this fixture are larger than the run of the mill, contractor fixture. You may need "wiggle room". Also, a bubble level. Wired in the fixture with twist connectors, black to black, white to white. Notice the green ground attaches to the mount hardware. Put in a cheap bulb to test and turned power back on at the panel to make sure light was working and there wasn't any smoking going on round there. Turned power back off at panel (of course). Carefully push wiring into the electrical box. For outside work such as this, a ring of clear silicon is a good idea to keep moisture out of the electrical connections. Water and electricity tend not to play well together. Lightly around the inside the fixture base, toward the outside so a seal is made when you put the base on the electrical box. Visually check the connections before closing up. Silicon doesn't turn hard instantly but it can make such a mess if you have to pull the fixture back open again. The two screws are covered with matching, ball shaped caps that hold the fixture to the box. Then the glass is secured by a ceramic nut that screws to the lamp socket. You definitely want to be sure the power is cut when putting the ceramic nut in. Your fingers can easily slip into the light's socket. Slip the glass up and onto the square backing, align everything, screw the ceramic nut to the socket. Then it's just install the bulb and power up. I installed a 60 watt equivalent LED myself and get a good, illuminating, warm white glow, much like the old incandescents at the back porch. Very nice overall. I should get one of these for the front porch also!

    A warm, welcoming light
This Thomas Mission lantern was a breeze to install-- I especially appreciated the collapsible metal hanger included on the back of the base, which allowed me to temporarily hang the light in position while I made all the wire connections. The overall fit and finish of the metal (not plastic--Yay!) lantern is quite good, and provides a classy appearance to front-door guests. And a lit 100-watt bulb gives off a nice warm glow through the lightly textured glass. I'd highly recommend this lantern!

    Simplistic and stylish
The light has very nice strait lines I would almost say that it has an Asian quality. It is well crafted and very easy to install. It has a medium base socket in which I am using an LED light to illuminate it. I am very pleased with the illuminated look of the light that it gives off.

    Attractive and easy to install
Last year, I built a deck off my back door. I replaced a flood light fixture with an inexpensive lantern. This new Mission wall mount is a vast improvement. It looks very nice. Installation was easy, especially since the manufacturer included an 'exclusive' "Easy Mounter"--a small hook that holds the lantern in place while you connect the wiring--very smart and handy for those of us who have left a lantern 'hanging' by connected wires, just hoping it doesn't disconnect, fall, and break. I'm very ... read more pleased with the new lantern.

    Great coastal look!
I just had these installed, so I can't talk about how they hold up in coastal weather, but they are very sturdy, and not made with metal. I read previous reviews about how well they hold up in coastal weather, so I bought these. I will try to come back and update this review after having them up for awhile.

    Survived Hurricane Sandy!
Enough said. This is an attractive, durable outdoor fixture that's made to last. We have six of them in various locations at our ocean block home. Five of the six withstood the force of Hurricane Sandy. If not for flying debris, we would have been six for six!
