    Beautiful style.
I wish this style came in black so it would match posts and railings. We're having a hard time getting this mounted on a concrete wall. Most posts are made for the ground and the wall mounts are too short. We're trying an electrical supply store to get a 4 ft extension to fit both the mounting and the lamp base.

    A great imptovement
Although we had to wait over a month for these lights to be available, it was well worth it. They are perfect for our entryway and quite unique. We could not find anything else that would work as well. Instillation was simple as was the replacement of the post bases which the store had in stock. All in all we are very pleased and have gotten compliments from our neighbors. Thank you Home Depot for Progress Lighting.

    I like it! Something different.
It's got personality. It gives off good light. It's pretty. The not so good thing is that I'll have to get out the step ladder to change the bulb, oh well. Another not so good thing, to fasten it to the post we had to drill holes. Not too big a deal, just different from the one that was there. I like the light.

Hampton Bay Exterior Chelsea Post Light
I purchased and installed this outdoor light 2 months ago on an eight-foot lamp post. Assembled fairly easily, had only a slight problem with the rod that holds the top cover on, it seems to be a quarter of an inch too short and I had to screw both ends only partially in place for it to hold. I chose the Amber Frosted Glass because other types of outdoor lighting seem to blind you as you drive into my driveway. This light casts an adequate amount of light from the three 60 watt enclosed bulbs. I ... read more thought that this outdoor light was made entirely of aluminum however, upon assembling the light I found that only the base is made of aluminum and the top cover is made of hard plastic. No complaints yet, waiting to see if the plastic top cover maintains it’s appearance through our humid and sunny Florida summers. Would give it a five if not for the plastic parts.

After searching for a matching wall mount and pole light that looked good against a traditional red brick home... I found these products. Although, these light’s would look good on any exterior home. These lights are high quality and worth it. I love the appearance of the lights and they luminate beautifully.

    post light
For plastic it is rich looking. If you don't tell anyone, they will not think it is by looking only. Replacement for an older metal one so it is weather tight, looks great and I would recommend it. I have it on a dusk to dawn sensor so I don't think about it. I really like the clear glass and is very bright with a 13 W. fluorescent lamp.

    This product looks great mounted.
The outdoor light is actually bigger than what I imagined, which was a pleasant surprise. I must note that it is made out of plastic including the called spyglass, which is not an issue for me. It looks great and sturdy, which it is a good deal for the price.

    Looks great!
I got this with the idea of putting it in a landscaped area that rolls down the side of my house. Love it! Really looks good and makes the entire area so very inviting. I couldn't believe how easy it was to put it together. A template came with it which made it super easy to install into the concrete. The whole process took less than an hour. The glass in the lantern is "seedy" or "bubbled" which adds to the richness. This lamp post is only 42" vs. the standard height of a post, but that is what ... read more I was looking for. I've kept it on mode ll which is still very bright and that way it stays on all night and into the morning. I'm so pleased with the quality, the look and the ease of getting it put together/installation. It emits a light that's just as bright as an electric post but with zero hassle of hooking it up to wiring, etc. So, glad I decided to go with this and think you will, too :)

    Solar Lamp & Post
This is an attractive fixture and has a bright led light. It is in the full Florida sun for 8 hours each day. The only downside is that at dark when the light comes on it only stays lit for about 4 hours.

XEPA 42-Inch Tall Solar-Powered LED Post Lamp
I had been planning for a while to install a lamp post in my front yard, to illuminate a well-traveled walkway, but had been procrastinating (for at least the past 2 years) because the project would require running electrical wiring underground from a power source and switch at the house. I was aware that solar lamps were available, but my experience with solar lighting has been less than positive, with solar lamps proving to be unreliable, lack sufficient lumens output, and short-lived due to ... read more the elements. I did not expect the Xepa to perform much differently, on the basis and belief that solar lighting isn’t quite perfected, but this LED post lamp from Xepa exceeded my expectation. As I removed the product from shipping box, the first thing I noticed is that the lamps 4 shades are made of glass, not plastic, and feature air bubbles and a distorted wave effect giving the appearance of old paned glass. When the lantern is turned on, the light through the air bubble glass casts a visually interesting effect on the surrounding area. The lamp post is constructed of cast aluminum with no visible seams, to which I am accustomed to seeing on other lamps, which I now know are of an inferior quality. Hardware and an Allen key are included, in addition to well-written instructions containing illustrations, which proved useful during assembly. What really impressed me about this lamp is the built-in timer that activates once the photo cell senses darkness. Depending on the switch setting, the lamp will illuminate for 6 or 12 hours, and then turn itself back on for another cycle. The 6 hour setting provides more lumens than the 12 hour setting, but the light that burns twice as bright, lasts half as long. The aluminum post is hollow and there are no wires. I have my lamp set for 6 hours of illumination. After several nights of testing, I realized that the lamp not only requires direct sunlight to charge the solar cells, but also pitch blackness to illuminate. For example, one night the moon was full and shining brightly and, although it was dark outside, the lamp did not turn on. There doesn’t appear to be a setting to adjust for low light, so you need to try different locations to find one that works reliably. Since its winter and the ground is too hard to dig and pour a concrete base, I planted the post to the ground surface by driving 10-inch aluminum tent spikes through the pre-drilled holes in the aluminum base, which hold the 42-inch post sufficiently well, but I’m not sure would work on anything taller as the majority of weight is in the lamp atop the post. I had the post lamp installed in my front yard in a matter of minutes, rather than the several hours it would have taken to run underground wiring and install an electric post lamp. My plan, when the weather is warmer, is to purchase the Xepa 77-inch lamp post for the front walkway and move the Xepa 42-inch lamp post to a garden area. These lamps are not inexpensive, but like anything, you get what you pay for and quality is worth paying a little extra to get. While I recommend this Xepa post lamp as an alternative to running outdoor electrical wiring, aside from the hyper-sensitivity of the photo cell, and lack of low light adjustment, my only other negative comment is that the light is typical-LED white, where my preference for outdoor lighting is for amber, to match the electrical incandescent light fixtures attached to my house.

    Classy Lighting
I purchased both ,the wall latern and the post lamp. They added a touch of elegance to our home. The post lamp gives a soft glow ar night with the Seedy Glass and the design of the Aged Iron latern gives it a classy look in the daylight. The wall latern gives the same effect. Both together, I would recommend to anyone.

    Beautiful Light
We installed this light on top of a block pillar at the end of our driveway and it adds so much style to our landscape! Great look, great quality!

Looks great, but pre-drilled holes in lamps did not line up with posts so I had to re-drill holes to finish the assembly. I am handy & have tools to do this, but it made the assembly difficult. Otherwise, it has been working fine. The lights stay on most of the night. It is not very bright lights though. more of a nightlight effect outdoors.

    Puts out great light
This light is brighter than I expected, but the base pole is much more slender than my last one, I wonder how long before it give out. The top is solid and is a little much for the size of the base.

    Motion sensor
Works great. Sensor works just as described. High sensitivity is to high. Picking up cars driving down the street. Lowered to low sensitivity and working just the way I wanted it.

    Great product with easy installation
This product is a great security tool with easy installation. Works great at the end of my driveway to let me know if someone arrives or walks by the house. My second one since the first got zapped after a thunder storm went through the area. They may be sensitive to power surges. Only available through on line purchasing, not in stores.

150 Degree Motion Sensing Post Light Sensor
This Heath Zenith was a replacement for a previosu unit form a company that has gone out of business. I found it to be an exact replacement for the old unit. It installed easily and seems to function as the old unit. I liek the dim and various motion and timer functions. This is a very nice sensor for a lamp post
