Great product at a great price!
Very nice finish, and completes our oil-rubbed bronze finishes in our living room

Not too fancy but I like them!
I had some lights installed in my wood ceiling and I was looking for something that would blend in with the stained wood. These are the closest I could get to the color. They were easy for my contractor to install, they look nice, they do have gimble so I can adjust the light direction. If you are looking at them at a close distance they can appear cheap. But once they are up on the ceiling you do not notice. Very happy!

    Recessed LED worked as expected
The great thing about installing this LED is twofold: In a wet shower area is delivers far more light than a 40 watt incandescent with the glass sealed safety cover. The unit fits snugly into the recessed lighting fixture with relative ease. My only issue was with the default tension spring arrangement. It would not hold the light snugly to the ceiling without slipping. When I switched to the blade wing clips, it was hard to put the housing into the cavity but it stayed put.

    LED replacement
This LED light assembly is a great buy for replacing the CFLs in our kitchen, bathrooms and hall ways. Easy to install but required extra wiring in our kitchen due to title 24 code requiring that the CFLs be hard wired. A little pricey and they will take some time to break even on the cost. Much better looking and less glare than the CFLs. Similar looking to the 65W incandescent bulbs for just over 10W.

    Like these lights
I like these lights- of all the retro-fit LED's they seem to have the warmest light. I gave the value "poor" rating because the price dropped $20 since I recently purchased them. This is painful b/c I purchased 3- at the new price, they ARE a good value, but I'm not too happy at losing $60

Good retrofit choice, slight buzzing with MLV dimmer
I like these lights. They seem to be the only retrofit available right now that is an eyeball design and casts a wide-angle dispersed light. They also have very good dimming properties (very low light levels achievable). I wanted the wide angle and directable light beams to cut down on glare in the family room. Works great for that. Unfortunately, there is a slight buzzing noise, which varies from fixture to fixture. This is probably due (in my case) to using an MLV dimmer switch. I gather. I ... read more was going to install an ELV dimmer switch, but I have no neutral in the area where I want the dimmer. So I can't be sure an ELV dimmer would fix the issue. I can say I tried an MLV switch from both Lutron and Cooper (who makes the lights), and they both give a slight buzz. Regardless, I'm keeping the lights. The buzz is fairly minimal, even with the low ceilings we have. TV is usually on when we are in that room...

i had to buy 18 of these for our remodel project!
Installation was easy and they look great. took us only an hour to install all 18 lights. They are easy to angle across the room but I wish they had a few more tilt options instead of just front to back. They give great light but we put them on a dimmer as well.

    Attractive update
We purchased this product to update the look of a light fixture above our fireplace. Our den has a cathedral ceiling and our brick fireplace extends to the ceiling. Previously there was an older fashion "eyeball" fixture there that washed light onto the brickwork. Now with our new fixture from Home Depot not only is the look updated with a flat recessed light fixture, we have the advantage of LED light. Brighter and less expensive to operate. Win, Win, Win.

    Excellent
We went with Halo for our basement recessed lighting because its a leader in the industry. We know they will be around if something goes wrong with their product. While these trim cones are on the more expensive side, we know they are high quality, and fit easily and beautifully into our Halo lights!

    Looks amazing
Love the reflector Trim. We use it on all our homes. Looks absolutely stunning and is very durable. I highly reccommend this product.

    THESE LIGHTS REALLY SHINE!
Use these lights (as opposed to the white or black trim) if you really want to light up a room. The reflective trim really bounces the light - hold a spotlight up to a mirror, and you'll see what I mean! Looks awesome with stainless steel/chrome decor and/or accessories...

Easy to install and looks good.
Purchased for use in the ceiling of our new porch. Used in conjunction with Halo recessed light cans. The trim rings installed easily and look appropriate.

    Money savings
I work for a local Hotel here in RC. The Hotel is doing it's very best to conserve energy one way is Electric. I have done studies on ways to save and one of the best products is the LED lighting which we are trying to switch all lighting over to. We have a conopy at entrance of Hotel the ceiling height is over 12 foot and has 9 lights it's not an easy place to change light bulbs every 2-3 months the life of the LEDs makes life easier , the canopy lights are on a min. of 12-14 hours . With the ... read more purchase of 9 of the recess LED lighting purchased from HD which just slide into existing opening was great . the results within 2 month was notable , they are stylish bright and low cost not only the lights but energy savings. I am currently looking into switching over 100 6" can lights to this same model. Thanks once again H D . They have a large variety of LED fixtures and bulbs. You want to save on energy cost LED products at your H D is the way to save.

Overall a good retro fit for can lights.
I have installed 7 of these, both 4" and 5-6", WAY better that the CFL bulbs in the original cans. While not a difficult install, it still takes a little bit of handiwork and in my case some drilling for the ground wire. I could still use 6 more, but because of the expense I might go with just LED bulbs as they wouldn't be seen or used as much. 3000K is OK, I would prefer 2700K.

I loved them so much I put 6 in the garage!
Love these things. Run cool. Electric bill down. Easy to install. When they turn on for the first time, they take a few seconds to light I found--same if electricity goes out for a long time. Otherwise, they come on with just a millisecond delay. I bought the 900 lumen version and use the Lutron Maestro digital dimmers. I also got the 3000K which were slightly cooler than the 2700K, but still look give warm incandescent-like light when dimmed. These are solidly built units. With the proprietary ... read more trim, these provide airtight ceiling installation. Spendy, yes, but will eventually pay out. I LOVE the look. And they function perfectly. No hum or any issue at all with even one of the 30 I installed and I bought them at different times from different stores. I loved them so much I put 6 in the garage.

Finally, A Great LED Can Light
We have over 30 recessed can lights in the house that were burning 75 watt halogen bulbs. It became obvious that we needed to do something to save power. I tried at least seven different replacement options, from Home Depot, other general hardware stores and lighting specialty stores. None had the features we needed, brightness, color and flood angle. I happened to be walking through the Home Depot one day when the Halo factory rep was doing a small demo of their new LED fixtures. He suggested I ... read more try one of these. It fit all our needs. It even comes with trims for both flush mount and rotating "eyeball" mounting. In fact, be a little careful, there are lots and lots of mounting options so be sure to get the right one! Needless to say, there isn't a can in our house that doesn't have one of these in it. They aren't cheap, but they are worth the price.

    Install all the time
I am an electrical contractor, and I've installed these LED trims in homes of all sizes (800sf. - 8,000sf.). Each home owner loves them.

    Great value, LED option
This product (2700k) is ideal for home LED recessed lighting needs. I tried several prior to finally selecting these for my entire home (including outside/entrance porch). Just the right balance of brightness and softness. ALL 3000k LEDs I tried were significantly brighter/whiter (not my taste). The only minor issue I have is when paired with Lutron dimmers (latest at HD), they don't come on if the setting is too low (although they will adjust to that lower setting once on). BTW, no noise, no ... read more delays. They do also look great btw (and we are very picky, classy/modern/transitional look home). As far as installation, it make take you 1-2 minutes (if you take your time incl. removing the older non-LED ones).

    awesome
These lights are great. Took me 15 minutes to install. That's saying a lot, because I am no where near handy. They look awesome.
