    Super easy installation
This Halo recessed light was super easy to install. The LED is cooler and so much more energy efficient than regular lights. It is equivalent to a 60w bulb but only uses 9w. It fits up to the ceiling really well and lights up bright as soon as the switch is flipped on. Trying to change everything to LED. I highly recommend these. I will be buying more

    Awesome recessed light!
I replaced my old fashioned light fixtures with these Halo recessed light fixtures. The look is up to date and modern. They were easy to install because they come with a screw base adapter for retrofitting the old housing. They don't emit a lot of heat because of the low voltage. Each light produces the equivalent of a 60 watt bulb and it's only 9 watts. Great energy efficiency!

    Great buy
Love the light hope to save on the electric bill like the way they dim when turning off

Works for what I need it to do!
Not too bad looking when installed. Felt a little flimsy while installing. See below for shipping issues when ordered online.

    Decent option
If you look around for pinhole baffles, you'll find that they can get very expensive for what they are. This is a decent option for the price but the reflector inside can create some glare. Other brands have a matte black interior which can decrease the glare problem but the key is experimenting with different bulbs. I paired this baffle with a 35 watt equivalent LED spot. Ultimately, a good buy.

this does a great job narrowing the beam in our hallway

Easy to install, nice warm light, but be sure to get the right version (clasp differences)
Installed six of these in our living room (no lights before). Easy to install. Have them on a Levitron Decora SureSlide dimmer (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-Decora-SureSlide-Universal-150W-LED-CFL-Incandescent-Slide-To-Off-Dimmer-White-R12-06672-1LW/204643929) and there is zero humming. Or so little I can't hear it -- I can hear it in some other lighting we have so this really is quiet. Reasonable amount of dimming. Obviously not like an incandescent, but pretty good. Turning them on ... read more requires you to go at least 50% and then dim but that's fine with me. Time will tell on longevity. Only had them in for a day. READ THIS: There are two versions of this light. One has three black clips (the one pictured on the site). The other has two silver clips that each have a wing. They are more horizontal than the black ones. The box shows a picture and so far the box hasn't been wrong about what is inside. The important thing is that at least in my case I could not get the three-black-clip version to sit flush against the ceiling. I'd push it up and it would drop down 1/4". The silver-clip version doesn't have this problem. Another reviewer (for slightly different model) commented on this gap. I suspect this was his problem too.

    Good purchase
The lights not only enabled a conversion to LED lights which are more efficient, they also illuminate better and are more attractive than what I replaced. Excellent!

    4" Commercial LED recessed
I was surprised that the light doesn't come on instantly, I have another light connected on the same circuit and this LED light takes a second or two to light up. I was hoping it would be more flush too, it has a little gap between bezel and ceiling that I couldn't tighten any lower, perhaps other lighting bezels would have this gap too, I don't know because this was the only one I tried. That is why I rated appearance average if it was flush it would've been excellent.

Nice Pot Lights for the Money
These are nice lights and I really like the fact that the trim and lights come together as one unit. I like the 3500K color - bright but not too intense. I have installed 12 of these in my basement as part of a total remodel. They install easily with one piece that screws into the socket first and then the piece with the trim and light snaps into the first piece. My only knock against them is that there is a slight buzz that is more noticeable because I'm tall and my basement ceiling is only 7 ... read more foot. That said, these are hard to beat for the price versus buying the light and trim separately.

    Easy to adapt
Electrician suggested using the standard and buying this adapter to reduce the cost. Love it with the bright leds

    Simple cost effective solution.
This product works great. I thought at first that I needed to purchase an entire canister, however, this cover worked perfect in my existing one. Easy fix!!

Seems like a great product at a great price!
I am using it in the hot room of an outdoor sauna. I had the temperature up to 190F in the room and the trim seems to handle it just fine.

    Good replacement option
Comes complete with the squeeze springs for easy mounting. Looks good on my white ceiling. The poly-carb lens is white opaque, gives adequate light and didn't break when i dropped it. The spring is attached to the metal rim with fold over tabs rather than the original I replaced that had a plastic rim with slots that snapped off while changing the bulb. Granted, it was eight years old. Decent quality. Decent replacement product.

Tuscan Trim for Canned Lights are BEAUTIFUL!
I absolutely love my new Tuscan recessed light trim! The colors shown are true to the photo and really add such a beautiful detail and compliment my kitchen decor. The detail in the trim is well done and looks very expensive, but is at a great price. I showed the HD product line to my friends and they are now ordering for their kitchens and great rooms too! Must see this product! Love it!

    Great High End Look
This product adds a great high end look for a reasonable price. Quality product. Only drawback is that I had to modify each of my 17 can lights to get them to fit right. My house is 21 years old and the kit did not fit my fixtures without some work. The description is ambiguous as to the type of can lights these fit into. (I would say the newer, shallowe type cans) but I did get them to fit mine with some work and they look great. I also had to buy 17 new Long tube lights to get the lights to ... read more shine down far enough through the opening. Original flood lights did not work. All in all I am very happy with the quality and the look. Just be aware of the different can lighting.

These are really pretty and I like mine.
I guess I did not know cans were all different (I have 2 styles) and of course neither were the same as the one this uses. However, my son engineered a solution and made them work with my cans. They look REALLY nice and I am really pleased. Still debating on replacing the 2 above my table with these cans or pendants.

    Great lights
Great lights that were an exact fit for the 35-year old fixtures they replaced.

    great hard-to-find light cover
It fit perfectly over the existing light box. Unfortunately, previous owners removed the original and put in a different kind of light in a non-compliant manner. After removing the old, inserting a bulb, and inserting this lighting cover, it was returned to its original design. Since this light was over a tub, it was important that it be safe!

    Does the job
Needed one of these to replace a hallway light in a mid 80s condo. The old one was splattered with paint and the springs were weak. The replacement was a crisp white and the spring hold very well. The glass looks white when the fixture is off but when on the light is rather yellow. Also, the cover blocks more light than I would have liked. It looks like the glass is painted on one side.

    Decent product
Looks great! Mostly easy to work with except the side spring clip of one unit was malformed and popped off the trim piece whenever I tried to install it in the can. Trying to bend it back to shape did not help. Put aside that one for now and will likely get it working when I need it or return.

Affordable option for trimming out a can insert
This 5 in. white baffle trim is pretty bare basic but is still enough to finish out recessed lighting. Unlike other trims I have throughout my house this does have a more squared to the ceiling edge rather than a taper. Because I installed these all in a room by themselves it works just fine and looks good too. I was just in the process of putting recessed lighting in my living room when I received these. Prior upgrades to my house lighting included just purchasing a LED light kit with baffle ... read more attached but that can be a rather expensive alternative, these work just as well with the proper light bulb. They are straight forward as far as installation...there are clips that hook into your installed housing (can) and push up inside to create a finished look. After that you just install your choice of can light. Easy, affordable, highly recommended solution to lighting needs.

    know the project before starting.
Recessed lighting is a big project, and requires many different components, and a good bit of skills. Before even buying anything, make sure you know the cieling both inside at out (literally). If you are installing to a cieling with the attic above, no problem. If you are installing to a cieling with a floor above, make sure you know how thick the cieling is. (I.e. a 10inch recessed light would stick out of a 6 inch thick cieling by 4 inches). The process is exhausting, but still doable. It ... read more involves drilling big holes (check to make sure you won't hit any wires, plumbing, or main support beams first), installing the individual light installation, installing wires (running wires, sautering wires, connecting, testing, etc) cleaning the hole, and hopefully it works. For what these are, they don't really stand out from other recessed lights, but they are equal to. Would I recommend these? Yes. But only as much as other light housings, depending on what color, size, etc you are going for.
