Pros: Easy to install in commercial electric 6" housing. The trim looks nice. It puts out a lot of light.
Cons (sortof): The bulb doesn't dim down very low (at least with my dimmer Cooper LED dimmer) and it has a very bright center that is hard to look at when it is full on.
Other: I also tried the ecosmart with white trim and i liked that bulb better. It dims down a lot lower and has more diffused light (which is bettter for general lighting). I would say both bulbs put out an impressive amount of light.

Beautiful, work great
Wonderful light, attractive fixture. Instant on, do not need to wait for lights to "brighten" after flip switch on. Goes from moderate light to very bright on dimmer switch. At times wish it could be dimmed a bit more, but only very occasionally. Beautiful, classy appearance of fixtures. Love them!

Love These Lights!
Bought the first one in the store & after installing it I ordered 9 more. Love these lights, they look good and the install was easy.
Performance: No opinion. I gave it away.
It did not fit my can lights.
Would have required troublesome installation alterations to make it work.
Frankly, after seeing it I was not convinced it was stunning enough to make the adjustments necessary.

Great looking unit
This trim is a great accent for the single can light in our foyer and adds to the tropical flair we're looking for. Even though it was not designed to install on our style of can light, it only took a few second with a drill to make a couple of holes (in the can's flange) to be able to mount the trim. Over all its a nice piece and worth the money, despite needing a slight mod to fit.

Great High End Look
This product adds a great high end look for a reasonable price. Quality product. Only drawback is that I had to modify each of my 17 can lights to get them to fit right. My house is 21 years old and the kit did not fit my fixtures without some work. The description is ambiguous as to the type of can lights these fit into. (I would say the newer, shallowe type cans) but I did get them to fit mine with some work and they look great. I also had to buy 17 new Long tube lights to get the lights to

All in all I am very happy with the quality and the look. Just be aware of the different can lighting.
Easy to insall and packaged well. Ordered 40 and only 1 was defective.

Bright and Efficient Lighting
Super easy installation to replace large flood bulbs. Used 2 in a bathroom and 2 in a 300 sf bedroom. 4000K was slightly brighter than expected, but was concerned 3000K might be too yellow. 5000K would have been blinding for such small areas.

This new fixture was used to replace an older one that was about 10 years old and is outstanding as it makes the room very bright.
Excellent product for appearance, quality (installed less than 3 weeks at this point - time will tell), a little pricy, but VERY easy to install. Highly recommend. And, delivery from Home Depot was fast.

Love This Lighting!
I remodeled my basement and hated the light fixture that stuck down from the ceiling. When I found this light I wasn't sure about it but thought I would give it a try and it was great. It mounts right over the junction box no special cans or inserts. The light is nice and bright. I only put up one light and it does a nice job of lighting up the room, any additional lighting I was planning on doing with lamps but not sure I will need to do it. I want to buy a couple more of these now. Not only

This is the second Juno LED light I have, because it's a well made unit with great performance specifications. It's more expensive than most LED retro-fit models, but the quality shows throughout. It's rated for recessed housings in direct contact with insulation, in wet locations, and provides an "air tight" (less than 2 Cubic Feet per Minute leakage) seal against the ceiling. This one is 600 Lumens (equivalent to 65 watts) so it's not as bright as the 900 lumen unit I also have, but works
... read more better in a smaller space/lower ceiling. The color temperature (3000K) is very pleasant, slightly cooler than typical incandescent lights. It's definitely "instant on" as well, and works with most standard dimmers. I really like the dual installation option: it can plug into Juno housings directly with the quick-connect fitting screw into a standard medium-base bulb socket with the included adaptor. Installation is a breeze - remove the trim on existing recessed housing, unscrew the bulb, screw in the adaptor/plug in the quick-connect, and replace the trim. It took less than 3 minutes to install and it looks great. There is a generous size trim ring so it hides rough edges in the drywall hole. I'm extremely pleased with this unit and recommend it, even at the higher cost.

Quality that looks and works right
If you are like me, you are looking into swapping out your old 60W BR30 incandescent "can" bulbs. I started with this Juno unit and was impressed. It is bright, yet dims well with a dimmer. But it is a bit expensive.
So I admit, I tried a different, cheaper non-USA assembled unit. And I was disappointed.
I'm back getting another of these Juno units which are USA assembled. Let me tell you the two big reasons why, outside of the normal operation.
1) The spring clips that hold the unit in
... read more the can work super well. They grab and snug the ring right up to the ceiling very well. There's no sag like you might get in a cheaper unit. This is important! You don't want that cheap "falling out of the can" look you get with some other types.
2) The "recessed baffle" LOOKS RIGHT. It fits right in with what you expect. There's over an inch of recessed baffle rings. You will be fooled because it looks just like a traditional incandescent with the standard baffle. The cheap LED units? Well, they look wrong in comparison.
Beyond that, the unit is very substantial and you can tell it is made well. The edison style screw adapter is included, and works well. I'm using a dimmer compatible with LED, CFL or incandescent, and they dim OK. The instructions say just about any dimmer will work OK, which is a plus.
So, yeah, you get what you pay for. And these units are worth it.

Solid housing - read the review for a great installation tip!
A great replacement option for the open can lights. This has a very solid single piece housing. The ring fits nice and tight against the ceiling virtually eliminating the draft from my un heated attic space above the light.
The baffle is 2 inches on this light. I have other retro kits with a 3/4 inch deep baffle so be careful if you already have other kits. Besides the depth the two types of retrofit kits look identical after installation.
Also a great tip I learned after 5 minutes of
... read more frustration trying to get the light to fit tight against the ceiling. The prongs need to fit as far into the can as possible. For my cans it is the short slot beyond the reach of my fingers.
1. Insert two prongs from one side of the light into the can, most likely the short slots further in.
2. slide the light up paying attention to where the prongs are. Try to get them as close to the slots but don't worry about getting into the slots yet. I tried using a needle nose pliers and small dowel with no luck.
3. Push the light against the ceiling and twist the entire kit about an inch or less. The prongs will slide along the inside of the can and snap into the slots. The light should be nice and snug with no gaps. You may have to twist in the opposite direction to get the last prong to snap into the slot. You will know success when the ring stays snug when pulling down gently.
These instructions should make more sense when you are installing the light.
It would have been an easy 5 star rating but the opaque layer on the plastic light cover is slightly mis-aligned causing a one inch shadow along the edge. Its visible when the light is off and on. Most people wouldn't notice it but once you see it you always see it. Of course you will never look at the light directly when it is on so really only an issue when it is off It is probably an anomaly but worth mentioning.
All in all it is an attractive light. They really are very easy to install and looks a thousand times better than the open cans with the big R40 bulbs. I have 15 of them in my downstairs so am replacing a few every couple of months.
Nothing fancy, but why should it be, and you can't beat the price. You get two trim rings. One with a narrow band and one with a wider band, in case the cut out for the light can is not too good. Installation is a snap. First take the springs off the baffle and connect one end to the light can, just letting them dangle down. Then slip in the baffle with the trim ring and pull the spring down, hooking it into the hole in the baffle. I found this a lot easier than attaching the springs to the can

Great for the price!
These are nice covers and look wonderful in our kitchen. They come with two trim sizes so you can choose which you prefer for your situation. The interior part near the light is metal and the trim is plastic. They are very easy to install, you just clip the little spring up inside the light, and I can't imagine they wouldn't work with most fixtures. The price is really good and they seem like a quality product. If i needed to make a complaint, I would say the only issue is they only cover the

This is probably my failure to coordinate properly between the baffle and the bulb, but I'm still happy and don't think too many people will be standing and looking straight up.

Cheap but solves the problem
Was looking for a trim which would not cost me more than the actual recessed lighting kit. This was perfect for my need and for 3 bucks pus change one cannot go wrong. And did I mention it comes with trims in 2 widths.
These were super easy to install in my 6" recessed fixtures. The light is quite bright for our kitchen making it easy to see what you are working on. The color is good, nice and warm. Also, they make an airtight seal so I believe that they will help keep the heat in better that before. They look pretty sleek even though all visible parts are plastic.

Great price, and look
I flip houses, and it was less than 1/2 price for me to buy regular can lights on sale, and install these retrofit LED's vs. buying new LED can lights. These lights look great, and hopefully last the new owner a long time.
Only problem I found, was make sure you use a "Top of the Line Dimmer" if you plan to use any, and not a cheap one. I made this mistake, and ended up having to replace all the dimmers, as they would make the lights flicker.
