    works fine
These are very big, and hold a lot of dirt. Perfect for a large plant or tree. Place it carefully, these are not movable once they are filled.

    Too large for my needs.
I really had no concept of how big a 30 gal container would be. For my needs, these bags were way too big. I returned them and wanted to order 10 gal, but you are out of stock on that size. I'm disappointed because the bags seemed very well made and would have worked perfectly if only I had gotten the right size - maybe next year! The return process was very simple & easy and no problem at all.

    THE BAGS WORK WELL
I BOUGHT FORTY BAGS AND TWENTY OF THEM WERE WIDER AND SHORTER THAN THE OTHER TWENTY. I PREFER THE TALLER ONES FOR DEPTH BUT BOTH SIZES WORK WELL.

    Great Garden Solution
Fabric pots have been an awesome garden solution for me. I have 3 different sizes. This is the smallest. Raised beds are easy to maintain but can be pricey to build. In ground gardens are a constant battle with weeds. Container gardens require careful watering and can easily over heat in the summer. These fabric pots solve all of those problems. They are a reasonable price, reusable and durable, the fabric is breathable and drains well. The size of this particular pot is both a pro and con. Its ... read more nice because it's easy to move and manage because it is lighter. However the size is restrictive to what you can plant and since the pot itself it not especially attractive you're probably not going to display it on your patio. It's fine for my vegetable garden and functions just as great as my other fabric beds, but I prefer the bigger sizes and would usually choose more decorative smaller pots.

These aeration bags are designed to assist with the growing function of plants and vegetables. They can be used as stand alone or inserted into planters. Easy to use.

    good product
I am suprised how well my plants are doing in these pots. The handles make moving these pots around easy, two thumbs up.

These are great for large plants placed inside of large decorative pots.

    Great Fab pots!
I tried the one gallon size and had such good results I got the 3 gallon size; These pots are amazing I grew start to finish in these last year and this year I will be expanding summer and winter crops, you have so much more room to grow when you can arrange your green house any time; The handles on the pots allow you to move it if need be. I have removed dirt from above ground gardens lined with plastic and sat these pots right in, am bottom feeding no waste at feeding time. I still water the ... read more tops of my plants they dry out quicker in these bags but nothing my automatic drip system couldn't handle makes for easy gardening. Don't let the size or depth of these pots fool you plenty of growing room here.

    Planning ahead
I won't be using these until Spring '15. Stay tuned. I want to start a garden early so I'm collecting what I need now. Bags look good and should work as described.

    5 Gal Breathable Fabric Pot
Excellent product, fast delivery, but volume is closer to 3 gallons. Comes with a plastic drip pan which is very nice for setting plants on a deck. When purchased, there were no product reviews and purchased to look at quality. Would purchase more but would like 2X the volume.

Just what I was looking for.
Just the right size, now just got to get the right plant. Bought for using as inserts for wire basket planters. Used the fiber last year and did not work well since they took up so much room. Not enough soil space for the plants to grow.

    Differences with pots
I advise (1) filling with growth medium (soil) to near top and (2) make sure that plants are watered frequently. The unfilled top of the bag can fold in over seedlings and shade them from sunlight. As well, the soil tends to dry out quickly. I'm cautiously optimistic about obtaining good results.

    Very good product!
I read a University study done about using root bags vs black plastic containers for plants and trees. It found that the bags discouraged roots from circling like they do in the plastic containers. I used these bags and the plants are thriving in them. I haven't harvested to see the roots yet but the plants are doing much better in the bags. I highly recommend switching to the bags.

    Amazing price for these!
HUGE fabric pots! Best price around. I was leery they wouldn't be a thick enough mil considering the price, but they are great. From reading other posts (other sizes) be aware these were initially designed for the commercial growing industry to stop trees and shrubs from creating unhealthy circling roots as when grown in plastic pots. Another example of we regular people benefiting from a commercial invention. If they are too tall, just fold down the sides...this also makes them sturdier. They ... read more dry out quicker to stop root rot problems, so need to be watered more often. Happy me :-)

Great garden bed for use in limited areas.
We've always used the half wooden barrels for our gardening since we have limited space in some areas of our yard. They are cumbersome and leak, but the 45 gallon mini raised bed is lightweight and designed to make planting and growing easy. We love it and won't use anything else for our raised beds in the future. it is ideal for growing garden vegetables such as squash, cucumbers, potatoes, as well as other garden crops and flowers.

45 Gallons may not seem big, but....
I have been slowly collecting these garden beds with handles for a few years and I like the ones that are from the 'Depot best of all. The 45 gallon is generous enough to place 4 pepper plants in, they get to touch each other yet have plenty of room to grow without smothering each other. They are also heavy enough when filled that they do not blow over or require supports to stabilize them. I chose to fill mine with a pro mix from my local greenhouse so I had fresh bug free soil. I treat it ... read more with diatomaceous earth (find at your local Home Depot) to prevent anything from living in the soil, but have also had to move some to weed and found some huge cut worms under the bed, which they could not get through and my plants are nicely protected. I will definitely be buying more and the only plants that will actually be in the ground will be zucchini and summer squash! In the fall, after harvest, you have the option to cover and leave outdoors or empty them and hose them off and store them indoors. The handles are a great feature, but once these contain well established plants and are wet, they are not too easy to move.

    Great alternative to expensive pots
These will be great for my full grown tomato plants and peppers. I have use 5 gallon Home Depot buckets in the past and the tomatoes get root-bound. Hopefully these will give my plants just enough space to really flourish!

    LOVE IT!
I got these instead of raised beds. They are AWESOME. I use them for carrots (filling it to the top), lettuce(filling them 6 inches and folding sides down), watermelon, cucumbers, strawberries. To give an example of the actual surface size, lettuce needs about 6 inches between each other, and I planted 4 heads of lettuce in one bag. They seem to be made out of really thick plastic. I expect to get more than one use out of them if I don't move them a lot. Living in Phoenix, Az, I might get a ... read more smaller life expectancy because of the heat, but I think they're worth it for the amount of them you get.

This is a good product and a good value.
The grow bags were easy to fill and so far the plants are doing well. The bags seem to be holding moisture since the drainage holes are on plastic sheeting.

    Many sturdy pots, cheap!
I purchased this brand of pot in the past and was very happy with it. I was glad to see Home Depot carrying it cheaper than I could find them elsewhere. If you're planning on scaling up your container vegetable garden but don't want to spend $30+ apiece on large ceramic or plastic pots, these are a great quality, inexpensive choice. These very sturdy 7 gallon bags, when full of soil, don't rip or tear when being lifted or scraped on concrete. They drain well, and the dual color means you can ... read more choose to keep the soil cooler in summer (white) or warmer in winter (black). They're the perfect size for larger vegetable plants like peppers, tomatoes, okra, squash, etc. The only downside is that they are a little tricky to move because they don't have handles. I don't move my plants throughout the season, so moving them is only a chore I have to do once. I've used them for two seasons, and they hold up well at least over that time. It's also great that, when finished, you can rinse them out and pack them flat. They take up very little space when empty.

    good size and sturdy enough
I used these for peppers, but wanted 10 gallon size for hot peppers.

Work great for what I needed
Have been thinking about container gardening for over a year as a way to grow vegetables, I am a newbie at this, was looking for containers that I could afford, could use on my front porch and be able to move and manage. Saw these and am so glad I bought them. These are the 7 gallon size. I have tomatoes in a couple, cantaloupes in another, spinach in another, potato in yet another. Have no idea if I have it right, but the bags make it easy to learn. Pics are from about a month ago, tomatoes are ... read more about a foot above the top railing on the porch right now, doing well. I found the best way to fill them was to open them, turn down about an inch or two around the top to make a collar, then add dirt. See Pics They seem to drain well. The thickness feels about the same as an old style brown paper bag or a fabric grocery bag. Heavier weight than a lawn trash bag. Best estimate. No regrets on this purchase.
