    Good value for the money
These are great for large plants placed inside of large decorative pots.

    good product
I am suprised how well my plants are doing in these pots. The handles make moving these pots around easy, two thumbs up.

    Great Fab pots!
I tried the one gallon size and had such good results I got the 3 gallon size; These pots are amazing I grew start to finish in these last year and this year I will be expanding summer and winter crops, you have so much more room to grow when you can arrange your green house any time; The handles on the pots allow you to move it if need be. I have removed dirt from above ground gardens lined with plastic and sat these pots right in, am bottom feeding no waste at feeding time. I still water the ... read more tops of my plants they dry out quicker in these bags but nothing my automatic drip system couldn't handle makes for easy gardening. Don't let the size or depth of these pots fool you plenty of growing room here.

    Nice and handy
These portable garden beds worked beautifully for the flowers on my deck. They held the dirt and flowers great. I was able to water the plants and keep them healthy. They looked really nice. After I was done using them, I emptied them out and let them dry out so that I could brush off any excess dirt. I was then able to fold them flat and put them away for next year.

Mini Raised Garden Bed with Handles (3 Pack)
I ordered these to reline my 1/2 barrel whiskey planters. The four of them are over 18 years old and showing signs of age. I would recommend.

45 Gallons may not seem big, but....
I have been slowly collecting these garden beds with handles for a few years and I like the ones that are from the 'Depot best of all. The 45 gallon is generous enough to place 4 pepper plants in, they get to touch each other yet have plenty of room to grow without smothering each other. They are also heavy enough when filled that they do not blow over or require supports to stabilize them. I chose to fill mine with a pro mix from my local greenhouse so I had fresh bug free soil. I treat it ... read more with diatomaceous earth (find at your local Home Depot) to prevent anything from living in the soil, but have also had to move some to weed and found some huge cut worms under the bed, which they could not get through and my plants are nicely protected. I will definitely be buying more and the only plants that will actually be in the ground will be zucchini and summer squash! In the fall, after harvest, you have the option to cover and leave outdoors or empty them and hose them off and store them indoors. The handles are a great feature, but once these contain well established plants and are wet, they are not too easy to move.

A Good Low Cost Solution to Potted Plants
I have shopped large nursery pots all over the web and have spent hundreds of dollars that I wish I had back now. I tried these grow bags for the first time ever this year and finally found the perfect low cost solution I needed for growing out my larger plants in my greenhouses. You could probably not buy a decent 10 gallon plastic pot for the price you pay for the 25 pack of the grow bags. And these babies will hold a good size plant or shrub. And the plants seem to love them. I've ... read more transplanted dozens of plants into the bags and the plants are bigger and stronger than many of the plants I've left in traditional plastic pots. The only con I could find is that you should not try and move the plant once it is established in the bag, because picking up the bag will shift the soil and pull it off from around the roots. So if you don't need to move around your stock you will love these grow bags if not for anything more than the money you'll save not having to buy large plastic pots.

    LOVE IT!
I got these instead of raised beds. They are AWESOME. I use them for carrots (filling it to the top), lettuce(filling them 6 inches and folding sides down), watermelon, cucumbers, strawberries. To give an example of the actual surface size, lettuce needs about 6 inches between each other, and I planted 4 heads of lettuce in one bag. They seem to be made out of really thick plastic. I expect to get more than one use out of them if I don't move them a lot. Living in Phoenix, Az, I might get a ... read more smaller life expectancy because of the heat, but I think they're worth it for the amount of them you get.

Good for beginners gardeners like myself
Good product, good price, good seller and quick delivery.

    Great option
These garden beds are huge. They are surprisingly very sturdy and have held up incredibly well. I was concerned at first that it would be flimsy because the sides are soft but once the soil is in it, it holds up really well. Make sure you have them in the spot that you want, though. I wouldn't recommend trying move it after it is full, though. I would definitely recommend these for easy gardening.

    Really cool product
These are huge for a container. Excellent for greenhouse use to cover empty floorspace or small yards. Great for vegetables. Use a moisture retentive potting soil and you will fair better because of the pourous nature of the container. Excellent drainage. This would produce a couple bushels of potatoes in each bag. I am using to overwinter tomatoes in the greenhouse. I may try potatoes in one bag. Haven't decided yet. Would make an excellent herb garden that can be moved. Takes 2 peopls to move ... read more it though if soil is in it. Love this product! I will definitely buy more. Beats plastic pots all over the place or concrete beds that leak water around the sides.

    Time and Effort Saver
This fabric raised bed is an innovative and unique solution to vegetable gardening. I'm a novice gardener at best. Getting a garden started is time consuming and pricey. An in ground or raised bed requires wood, a tiller, and lots of work turning over soil and pulling out grass that never really goes away--even with the best weed control fabric. This one product solves many of those issues. First off, you just unroll the bed and fill it with dirt. A mixture of potting and topsoil works fine. ... read more Then you plant. The fabric does a wonderful job of keeping the soil well drained at an even temperature. Since it is not in the ground weeds are minimal. You will be amazed at how easy it is to use and the quality of the product seems to be high enough of that you will get several seasons of use out of it. That being said, you'll want to consider the following: The amount of dirt needed to fill the bed is considerable--depending on size--information is pretty easy to find with a quick web search. It's functional but not necessarily attractive. Be careful when weed whacking---I put mine on top of large cardboard boxes so I wouldn't have to trim close to it. At the end of the season, you have to decide how to handle the soil.

    THE BAGS WORK WELL
I BOUGHT FORTY BAGS AND TWENTY OF THEM WERE WIDER AND SHORTER THAN THE OTHER TWENTY. I PREFER THE TALLER ONES FOR DEPTH BUT BOTH SIZES WORK WELL.

The bags are working for me
Easy to use, Each 30 Gal bag is holding 3 cu ft of soil and I may add more. The plants are growing very well. I put 2 pumpkin plants in one of the just to see what happens. The bags are sturdy enough but do not hold their shape as you can see in the photos. I'll just shift the bags to alter their shapes a bit. I'm happy with my purchase.

    Speedy service!
I'm impressed with the speed in which I received the product, and it is as advertised, which also pleases me, as I look forward to raising some vegetables in them close to the house, as we have a deer problem in our area, and these grow bags should take care of that, most adequately!

Love to grow potatoes in them
I have purchase a very simular bag from a garden company they offer one 15 gal. ,I purchase a set of five 10 gallon for the price of two of their 15 gal. same quality.what a savings!

    Looking good
Initial impressions are good. Tomatoes seem to be growing well. The bags are strong enough to move the plants inside on nights where frost threatens. If they prove to be useable for several years they will actually be an above average value.

Great value and holding up well so far
Growing tomatoes, potatoes, whatever! These work great and are flexible for small areas.

    Something new to me..
Saw these and couldn't resist giving them a try. I like the idea of a collapsible & reusable potting container. Quality seems fine - pots form a cylindrical container that doesn't leak the rooting media. The handles are secure and provide an easy way to move the pots. I'm using these to try and root some difficult cuttings (high bush blueberry). In water or a wet environment, these cuttings will rot before they root. I'm hoping that using these containers with a loose rooting media will give ... read more satisfactory results.

    Great Garden Solution
Fabric pots have been an awesome garden solution for me. I have 3 different sizes. This is the smallest. Raised beds are easy to maintain but can be pricey to build. In ground gardens are a constant battle with weeds. Container gardens require careful watering and can easily over heat in the summer. These fabric pots solve all of those problems. They are a reasonable price, reusable and durable, the fabric is breathable and drains well. The size of this particular pot is both a pro and con. Its ... read more nice because it's easy to move and manage because it is lighter. However the size is restrictive to what you can plant and since the pot itself it not especially attractive you're probably not going to display it on your patio. It's fine for my vegetable garden and functions just as great as my other fabric beds, but I prefer the bigger sizes and would usually choose more decorative smaller pots.

    Problem solver
Loved the 1 gallon pots for my 88 year old mother - she is able to move and place them where she wants. Worth every penny of the investment.

very useful item for windy balcony
I like these grow bags a lot. The walls are high, and since many plants don't need deep soil, I folded the sides over to lower the height. An unexpected bonus was that when heavy winds occurred I could unfold the sides to protect young plants. I have noticed also that an eggplant which I started in the growbag is larger than one I put into a large plastic pot at the same time.

Just what I was looking for.
Just the right size, now just got to get the right plant. Bought for using as inserts for wire basket planters. Used the fiber last year and did not work well since they took up so much room. Not enough soil space for the plants to grow.
  3. 4 years ago
    Differences with pots
I advise (1) filling with growth medium (soil) to near top and (2) make sure that plants are watered frequently. The unfilled top of the bag can fold in over seedlings and shade them from sunlight. As well, the soil tends to dry out quickly. I'm cautiously optimistic about obtaining good results.
