Color is not the same online
Similar to the Irish Cream Ceramix Glaze Caylo Planter, this planter seems to be of very good quality. It's very sturdy and feels like it should hold up to the elements rather well; there's also a drain in the bottom WITH a plug, which means no drilling of holes is necessary; and the size is good for shallow-rooted plants, bulbs, or other annuals or perennials. Also similar is the fact that the color is nowhere near as vibrant as it appeared when I saw this online. I was expecting something with ... read more a brighter, more pronounced green tint to it, but the color is a VERY pale, weak, and undeniably neutral yellow-green. It's really unfortunate, because I truly like the simple overall design on this one, so I'll most likely paint it a more interesting color. This pot - in the current color - will need plants with vibrant color in order to look good. It will look ok with most architectural styles, I'm sure, but I think the style of the pot should work best at a 50's ranch style home or something more contemporary design, or otherwise in the back by a pool on the deck or flanking a doorway coming into the house. Definitely too big to use indoors if you don't have a large open room to compensate for the size.

Perfect for a color bowl of annuals
I really like the size and color. Its faux ceramic material looks like the real thing without the added weight of a ceramic bowl. That makes it easier to move if like me you enjoy changing things around in the garden. No picture attached because I just planted the annual seeds for the color bowl however I expect it will be beautiful.

    Really nice Bowl
I haven't had this long enough to see if it holds up to weather, but it appears to be well made and painted beautifully. It is light weight and perfect for my needs. I keep all my plants in pots and am always in need of those that can hold up in the winter months without breaking or chipping. This looks like it is made to last and actually looks like pottery, but isn't. The plug for the hole in the bottom came out easily and it drains really well. It's lovely.

    fits the bill
Arrived in good condition. Easy to put together. Sturdy. I used it to hold three potted strawberry plants rather than filling the top with dirt. It has a shiny finish. Looks good. Will probably order another in the future.

    attractive and versatile
Sure, this planter is easy on your back and knees, but it is also perfect if you want to keep pesky rabbits from munching on your plants. I ordered them to protect the patio windows from our dog. They don't obstruct the view, and they keep her from destroying the screens. Another benefit of the height of the planters, is that I've included some of the cute fairy garden decor items in my plantings, and it's easier to enjoy them vs. using lower pots, or ground-level flower beds. These planters ... read more were easy to assemble, and of high quality.

My Planter is now growing lots of Lettuce!
This planter is a good height for planting and harvesting a short crop such as lettuce. It comes with one drain hole, not nearly enough, so I drilled several more holes in the bottom of the planter, then 1 layer of porous garden fabric before filling with garden soil, watering, and planting the lettuce. I assembled it indoors, carried it out as it is very light before filling with soil. I also draped netting over it to deter Deer. Some sort of hoop/netting addition would be great.

    Cat house
Originally I bought this for my plant, but when I brought it inside waiting for spring planting my cat found it and decided she wanted to sleep in it, she did not get out all day. So I had to buy another one for my plant.

    Excellent product so far
So far the products is everything I expected. I use them to decorate the outside entrance of a small industrial-looking building. The leaves of the plants I planted (pansies) did turn white and shrivel shortly after planting, but I'm not sure if that was b/c of the planter itself or some other reason like soil pH. The plants did spring back and look good now! Also, so far the planters have held their shape well! I'm curious to see if the sides continue to remain straight even though made of ... read more rubber, or if they become bowed, over time. So far so good, however. The greatest benefit I hope will prove true with these planters is longevity. Although I haven't had them long, because they're made of rubber they seem to be more weather resistant. Every kind of plastic planter I've ever used has become faded, brittle, cracked, and broken after only one year of exposure to the elements. I'm hoping that the rubber material in these planters will last much longer. We shall see.

    Sturdy container
Purchased 6 of those sturdy plastic containers to replace rusty metal containers. Those containers from Home Depot look nice, are affordable, and will never rust or leak. Would buy again.

    Gorgeous and lightweight
If you love the look of stone or concrete planters but don't love moving them around the yard, then this planter is for you. I can move the empty planter easily with one hand. I was expecting the darker color to be gray, but it's actually a dusty dark olive - lovely, but not quite what it looked like on screen. There are three 1" diameter drainage holes spread across the bottom. The planter is really large, so check the dimensions if you're planning to put it on a railing or table. I plan to ... read more plant a line of small, rounded blue fescues that will go nicely with the green color, and then place it on a low table as a visual screen and accent piece on my patio.

    Has the appearance of stone
This planter is a lightweight plastic material but has the appearance of real stone. It is a large planter, 39" X 14.5" X 8.75", so it's lightweight construction is a huge benefit when you need to move it around. The planter has three large drain holes in the bottom which leads to my only criticism. Since the drain holes are so big, when you're first planting, the dirt can come out the bottom because there is no mesh over the drains to hold in the dirt. Overall, this is an excellent planter with ... read more a great appearance.

    Strong
This is a very durable yet lightweight planter that is the right size for most applications such as sitting on a deck or in a flower garden. The planter will stand up to the elements and is a perfect color for our home. My wife especially likes the weight of the planter which makes it easy for her to easily move it. She can't wait to fill it up in the spring.

    Very attractive alternative to stone
This planter does a very good job of looking like a stone planter, and has a lot of very nice detail. It's very lightweight initially, though it has a generously sized hole with plug (about 1 inch diameter) for filling with sand or small gravel. There is no draining hole, but there is a guide for where to drill one, and any drill bit should go through this very easily. I feel this price is similar or somewhat better than similarly sized & styled stone planters, though the real advantages may be ... read more the weight, and better resistant to freezes and impacts, it's not going to crack.

    Nice addition to the patio
This 19 inch x 17 inch Slate Fontana Urn Plastic Planter is extremely light weight and quite attractive sitting on my front porch. Don't forget to drill out the drain hole so your plant will get the drainage that it needs. There is also a large plastic cap like thing on the bottom that you can remove also. It leave quite a large once the cap is removed so I'm not sure what that hole would be for. Maybe if you're running a drip system through the bottom of the planter?

Solid & Well Built stylish planter!!
This is a very stylish & contemporary planter. It has a very solid feel with an economic price tag. The planter looks good enough to leave on the interior of your home. I am planning on putting some sort of smaller dwarf shrub or tree that can be brought inside for the cooler months. The dark color and clean lines will match my interior directions perfectly. Gardener Dream Planter
I'm a home gardener and I just love this plastic planter. The Marino Plastic Planter is a fantastic container for your outdoor and patio planting. Unlike the traditional clay pot, the plastic material is a light weight, durable plastic that incorporate style and decor. It looks like a real rusty pot from a fancy English garden. Size, the 24" diameter (22.5" to be exact) and taper down to about 14 inches at the bottom. It has a 19 inches depth. It is large enough for most landscape planting, ... read more bushes, flowers, and dwarf trees. Tomatoes, peppers, strawberries no problem. If you choose to plant directly in the pot, you need to drill holes for drainage. You can also place other plastic pot with plant into the Marino Plastic Planter for convenient and to enhance the overall decor. All the great features come at a cost. The Marino Plastic Planter is a bit pricey, about two times your normal clay pot. Overall, it's still a great planter.

    Very nice
Wow, this planter is bigger than I imagined. It is beautiful. The nice thing about the planter is that it is lightweight making it easier to move to various places. It can hold a small tree or several different types of plants. I have not used it yet, but in the spring I will plant a variety of flowers and greenery. This will make a very breathtaking presentation.

Big enough for a small tree!
This is a very attractive and very large planter. It has a nice shape and has an attractive finish, not too shiny, more like matte or flat. The planter has a plug in the bottom of it that allows for drainage so that the roots of the tree or larger plants that you place in the planter won't rot. It is a good idea to remove the plug and fill the bottom of the planter with gravel or small stones to allow for drainage. If you have access to filter fabric it would be smart to cover the stones/gravel ... read more with filter fabric to keep the dirt from interfering with drainage. ABSORBS WATER FOR HEALTHIER PLANTS
THESE TERRA COTTA CLAY POTS ARE THE BEST FOR YOUR PLANTS. WHY?? THEY ABSORB SOME OF THE WATER AND BREATHE WITH YOUR PLANTS' IT IS TIME TO WATER WHEN THE CLAY POT DRIES OUT, WHICH IS VERY NOTICABLE. I LOVE THEM, MUCH BETTER THAN PLASTIC.

    Better than expected
I've never really planted much in pots before and I wanted to give it a try without spending a lot of money, in case I was unsuccessful. These pots were the perfect price and exceeded my expectations! The pots have done well holding moisture in for my plants. Also, because of their simplicity and earthy feel, they don't detract attention from my beautiful and thriving flowers and herbs. I have never had such great success with potted plants.

    Very nice
This planter box is very nice looking. I just planted it with strawberries because if I put them on the ground my dogs and squirrels will eat them! We'll see how this does. I am puzzled by the raised circle inside of which I have taken a picture. I have never seen a pot like this before. It is very light and can be moved around easily since it is not made out of crock material.

    Great Planter
The Ceramix Craftwood Planter is a great planter for multiple purposes in your garden. It has good width and depth to suit all your planting. The planter is made composite resin for durability and light weight, roughly about 10 lbs. The outer exterior is painted with a rustic look to resemble brass or bronze. The painted ring handles on the side give it a bit more 3-D, and add interest. The geometric square of the planter reminds me of the old boxy, wooden planters. At the top, the width is ... read more about 15" and gradually tappers down 10". This is plenty of room for your plant roots to establish. You can grow flowers or vegetables with ease. At the bottom, from the inside of the box is drainage plug. Remove it before planting. Add good potting mix and you'll have a great planter for your garden.

    Ceramix Craftwood Planter
This is a great looking Ceramix Planter. It has a silvery antique look with rings on two sides adding a decorative touch and also can be used to lift or move the planter.. It is not a light weight planter which has made it a little difficult to move after it was filled with soil and plants. There is a plug in the bottom that can be knocked out for drainage.
