Best Charcoal Grill I've Ever Owned
I've cooked on many of the original Weber 22" Kettles...and for the past 20 years have cooked on several Weber Genesis propane grills. Besides this 26" kettle, I have a 22.5" Weber Smokey Mountain smoker, and a Weber Genesis 310 propane grill. Since getting the 26" kettle, I have not used the Genesis propane grill at all. pieces of outdoor cookers I need. You can actually smoke on the 26" kettle as well. The surface is so large, it's very easy to start your coals on one side, with the meat on the other. I've had it hold right at 225*-250* for several hours. But, of course, that's what the Smokey Mountain is designed for...and it does a fantastic job. $350 for the 26" kettle and $400 for the 22.5" Smokey Mountain...$750 to cook anything you want to perfection. The extra size in the 26" kettle, as compared to the original 22" kettle is well worth the extra price.
