Great features, quality issues in assembly, and customer service
I'm mixed on my experiences with this grill, but I think overall it ends up being a good one. I had some issues with assembly, both in the instructions and in the what was shipped with the grill, and also with NexGrill's customer service. I'll explain the issues towards the end, so read all the way through to fully understand.
When the grill arrived I was pretty excited. It comes in a giant box, but all in all doesn't weigh a huge amount (bonus). Like most packaged goods these days, I had to

unbox the entire thing before I could start assembling the grill. I really wish you could just start with the pieces on the top and gradually empty the box, but I digress, and that has nothing to do with the loss of stars or quality.
Once I unpacked the box I started assembly. It took me about two hours, I worked pretty slow, and did not have help from anyone, so with a 2nd person it could probably be assembled much quicker.
The first thing I noticed was the very first step of assembly. Attache the wheels to the base. This is where I began being impressed with this grill. The wheels are real castors, heavy duty ones too, not the typical cheap plastic wheel you'll find on grills. I had hopes.
Assembly was pretty straight forward, and went smoothly through the first half, assembling the grill frame. The instructions were clearly designed so you wouldn't assemble pieces backwards or incorrectly. Most pieces had screws already installed, so all you had to do was loosen them, slide the parts together and then tighten the screws back up. Piece of cake. The pieces that required fastening with the included screws fit well and were easy to assemble.
Once it came to the 2nd half of the grill, things got a bit squishy. This is where the manual was no longer clear, or was incorrect. There are several pieces that were supposed to ship with screws installed, according to the manual, but didn't, and one that had screws installed but the manual suggested it wouldn't. Some interpretation was necessary here. There were also brackets to support the side counter top and side searing burner that had holes for screws, but didn't come with screws, and the manual didn't suggest they were needed. If you didn't screw them in, they wobbled and didn't provide proper support for the rear of these shelves. Even stranger, the control for the searing burner didn't have screws and had a different assembly than the manual suggested (see photo). At this point I had to determine where I could do without screws and not jeopardize the safety of the grill. I ended up missing at least four screws, but it was probably a few more.
Regardless, I ended up completing the assembly of the grill and contacted NexGrill customer service to explain the issue and request some replacement hardware. It was a weekend when I did this so I sent them an email. To their credit, they responded early Monday morning, but told me I wasn't missing screws because the parts came with screws attached. I found this funny, because I explained in my initial email that there were screws missing, and I wasn't aware that they were watching me to really identify that I had all the necessary hardware. So I had to reassure them I was missing some screws (no pun intended). and they quickly said they would send out another hardware pack after I register my grill. The rep offered to register it for me if I provided her the info (bonus for that). I gave her my address and contact info and explained that I didn't have the serial number because I was at work. She responded with a chiding about how you can't register a product without the serial number, but said she'd ship me the hardware pack anyway. Not the best experience with customer service, but it ended the way it's should have.
Ok. Grill assembled, extra hardware being sent. Let's talk about how this beauty functions.
First of all, it's huge. Six burners and plenty of space to cook a full meal for many people. Of note, six burners will drain a propane tank pretty quickly, so you'll want to figure out the best way to grill for the amount of food you're cooking. It'll also get up to 700 degrees quickly with all six burners running.
It comes with a ceramic burner on the side for searing meats. This baby heats up to 800 degrees very quickly. Allows you to sear the outside of your meat and then move it to the grill to cook the rest of the way. This eliminates the need to raise and lower the heat during the grilling process. Works like a charm and is so much more useful than the side burners that normally come with grills that I've never used.
Each burner works independently from the others. If one burner is lit, you will need to light the next burner if you want to turn it on. Not sure how I feel about this, but it does make me think more about how many burners I really want to use.
The controls work well, and there's even a set of LED lights to illuminate them (see photo). It's a nice feature, but if you're grilling at night and you can't tell what your grill's set at, you're doing it wrong. The size of the flame is so much better to judge than the dial on the control.
The finish on the grill is very nice. The mocha is a nice metallic enamel (photos won't pick that up but it's pretty) and the stainless is, well, stainless. (Mine came with some odd markings on it that I think are somehow related to the packing materials rubbing against the stainless, but it'll wear off with time and I don't care about the issue).
It comes with a spring loaded tank measure that will visibly show how much fuel you have left. A nice feature, especially on a grill that can burn through propane so quickly.
It also comes with a rotisserie kit. This is awesome. It attaches to the rotisserie bracket, plugs in and works like a charm. You need to remove it when it's not in use and take the motor inside, but it doesn't take up much space so that's not an issue.
My grill came with a bent warming rack (see photo) which I had to bend back into place. If the coating cracks from this I'll request a replacement, but so far, so good.
The burners adjust well and it's easy to control the heat on this with two or all six burners going.
All in all I'd say this is a great grill for the price and I'm happy to have it in my yard.
