48" Limestone Fire Pit Kit - Great quality, Easy to install
Looks great. Simple to install. Great value. You could not build a firepit from scratch for this price or in such a short time. This kit took 20 minutes to install on an existing paver patio. If you are installing on a lawn or unlevel area, it will take longer to prep the ground than actually install the kit. If you are installing on an existing patio or paver system, be sure to lay down an inner set of brick or stone. This will protect the original base from charring or staining, should you ... read more decide to later relocate or discard. We also did not glue it down, as the pieces are heavy enough they will not move. This also gives you flexibility to decide on a final location. Suggest to get a steel cover to lay down when not in use. This will protect the pit, prevent wind from blowing ash and water from getting in to make mud. ***Important - When scheduling delivery, have shipping company drop pallet as close to final location as possible. Contents weigh 1,500 Lbs - its a good workout. Kids and dog love it - great for roasting hot dogs and smores!

    Good Product; Easy to Install
Very pleased with the fire pit. After preparing the base, had the pit installed in no time at all. Only complaint would be that the metal ring was already pretty scratched up when it arrived, and rusted readily after the first time it rained (before I even had it installed). Three coats of Rustoleum high heat paint, and I think I'll be good to go.

Seems Solid - Can Not Use Yet - So For Now 4 Stars
Wow, this thing was heavy! I took advantage of the free at home shipping special, and on the pallet it weighs 1500 pounds! I had to break it apart and move brick by brick. Seems like a good solid firepit. Square is a great way to go for fire pits - looks more functional and can serve as a bench. Installation was about an hour (without final adhesive). I will know more later, as I have to use concrete adhesive to keep everything together, and need constant temps over 40 to do that (could be an ... read more April thing here in New England). Overall I think this will be a great addition to the patio for many hours of entertainment.

    Great fireplace table!
This is a great table and it works awesome! It puts out a good amount of heat, consistently across the whole surface. I replaced the lava rock with fire glass for a more contemporary look and it's great!

    Great fire pit
Took it out of the box, added propane tank and fired it right up.

    Awesome fire table!
Emits a lot of heat and looks really nice. I replaced the lava rock with fire glass and it looks even better! The only downfall is that on hi, it goes through a full tank of propane in 2 hours. Was hoping it would last longer. But on the lower setting it still gives off a lot of heat and will use less propane.

This product was a bargain to be had. It was a gift and the recipient loved it. Good quality for a great price.
The product is a great value and it was easy to order on-line. It was shipped when it said it would and arrived when promised. As I said, this was a gift and I'm not sure if it's been removed from the box, but it was a pleasure dealing with Home Depot.

    Perfect size
I have had a smaller fire pit since I moved into my home. I wanted one that was much wider and deeper and this one was just perfect. I didn't care for the directions, but other than that I love it!

    Exactly what I looked for
After purchasing our first house with backyard I was looking forward to buy a fire pit. We live in Florida so we can use it all year around. It looks nice just like on the picture and it is very easy to be set up. We like the copper color as well. I ordered it online with free change of shipping. Arrived in couple of days.

    Love this firepit!
Received this firepit approx. 2 weeks ago and have already used it twice. It's easy to set up and great for nights spent hanging out on the patio.

    Great purchase!
We purchased this fire pit to replace an old one we had, after shopping around, found this one to be a good size and price. We first used it Thanksgiving weekend on our deck with our adult children. It was perfect....we roasted marshmallows. The decorative sides allowed the heat to filter out towards our feet. When the top was on there were no flying embers. Would recommend to also purchase a heat resistant mat 24x24 for under it because heat does radiate from the bottom and in Time could ... read more discolor the surface under the fire pit.

Better than I thought it would be!
This fire pit was easy to put together and is made with good quality materials. This is our 3rd fire pit that we have purchased over the years and I would say that this is by far the best one we have owned. We have had each of our previous fire pits for about 4 years each and I think this one will last even longer that the previous two. Love the size a design of this fire pit. We are very happy with it and use it 2 to 3 times a week.

    Great Product!!
I just purchased the pit today and it is great great great! Assembly was simple, even tho a tool is included you will still need a pair of pliers to tighten the nuts. It has a large capacity which can hold plenty of wood. Tonite the temp was approx. 36degrees but was warm and toasty around My New Firepit.

    Very stylish pit!
The pit assembled with ease and is simple to use. Looks great with the border made up of tiles. But was disappointed that a few tiles were chipped and uneven. Overall, this was a great purchase for the vAlue.

    Nice Buy
I replaced my old fire pit that was 7 years old. This new one is by far better built and looks like the quality of materials is also better. I look for @ least 10 years service from this one.

    Looks awesome!
looks GREAT on my patio, was a quick easy pick up and even though a few screws were hard to work with, once it was done it was worth it.

Very easy to put together. Largest time spent was prepping area for fire pit. Looks lovely and received lots of compliments
Looks sharp, easy to put together. Wish it came with a screen. Had to order seperately.

    This firepit kit is amazing!
My husband and I ordered this as a wedding gift for ourselves, as we have been wanting a nice firepit since purchasing our home in January. When we purchased it, it was actually half of what it costs now, which was an amazing deal. I see that it has gone up more in price now, but I still say that it is worth it. It is a tad bit smaller than I had imagined (even with the measurements listed, I still envisioned bigger), but the quality and look of it are amazing. The online rep that I spoke with ... read more to get it ordered and shipped to our local store, even commented on how it was beautiful and looked like a much more expensive firepit, as did the store clerk. Overall, we are very satisfied with this product. =o)

    Hardest Part was Unloading It!
Very easy to put together. The area we put it was already level with patio blocks. Took longer to unload the truck and carry it the area where we were putting it. All in all about a half hour to complete. One of the top stones was cracked and Home Depot was quick to replace! I rented the Home Depot truck which was awesome!

The firepit looks exactly like the picture, and is what we were expecting.
We love our new firepit, thought we haven't had a chance to use it yet. It looks great! But, we learned that we needed to add pea gravel between the metal fire ring and stone. That was not specified in the directions. This is to help deflect the heat from the stone. And delivery is only curbside, due to the almost 1500lbs it weighs. Luckily we were having work done and our vendor brought it to the backyard with his bobcat.

    Very functional and nice looking
I like everything about the fire pit. It's not real looking of course, but you know that before you buy it. I thought about building one out of real stone, but it's way easier to do it this way. This thing is really heavy, so I would think twice about putting it on a thin concrete slab/patio or unpacked soil. I actually put a cheap, quick footer under mine using 4" and 2" cap blocks. It's been there a year through all kinds of weather and nothing has moved at all. I also poured a concrete ... read more bottom to make it easier to empty and clean out once in a while. For a cheap sitting area floor, I got the ground really muddy and tamped in bagged gravel. It makes a great surface as long as you have a good grade with proper drainage. I wouldn't want to use it close to my house because I have a lot of natural rock structures and this doesn't look real, but I'm picky about that....mine is in the woods so it doesn't matter. It somewhat fools your eyes into believing it's real rock anyway. Most people won't notice and will think it's great.

    Very Happy
Kit was delivered as advertised and on time. Very easy to build, I back filled the annulas with pea gravel and topped that off with coarse tube sand for a nice finish.
