A bit pricey, but not a bad generator.
First and foremost, Some useful information: As soon as you unpack this unit, pull and trash the spark plug installed. Mine had some knock off of the one the owners manual recommended, and, the gap set was VERY off!! The book recommends .028-.031 gap, this one was set at .021!!! Replaced it and set the right gap and it seemed to run better. This leads me to point two.
I ran mine for two and a half hours, one and a half hours no load, one hour light load. I then decided to change the oil. I

couldnt believe how dirty the oil was already! The plug I pulled and replaced was VERY dirty as well!!! Personally, I would recommend changing the oil early on. Not mentioned in the ad, there is a funnel and hose for this, a screwdriver and plug wrench included, The funnel contraption is handy, the plug wrench is useless.
Personally i think it runs well, mine seems to rev and dive at times as far a running speed, but have had no problems yet. As far as noise, my opinion is it really isnt for the tented camper. I dont think I could sleep with this running, and prob would be ticked if someone had one running next to me. But as for emergency back-up... who cares, I have power and you dont! :-)
I have to note.... It states fuel capacity as 1.3 gallons. Im just here to say I filled mine directly from the pump and I could only get .982 gallons in it without overfilling it.
It seems well made, durable, and starts very easily and I think it will be a good generator, but I just wish the facts were straight, and they would clear up some loose ends.
