Works well - wish build quality was a little better
This is my first electric mower ever. Actually, this is the first mower I've ever purchased. All of my past mower experience has been my dad's conventional gas powered Craftsman, and two freebie push reel mowers that I picked up. Comparison with conventional gas mowing: I read someone describe using this mower as more like "vacuuming" your lawn than mowing it. I'll agree with that. Someone I read said that this was quieter than a gas mower. No, I don't think so... Not by much. I definitely ... read more wouldn't call it quiet. You'll still wake up your neighbors. Pluses: Feeling good about not polluting the air No gas refills or oil changes to worry about. The single-handle height adjustment is great! It's nice that the handle folds. 4 year warranty. Cons: I wish it didn't feel quite so cheaply built.. The deck is plastic. The catcher's sides are flexible nylon-like webbing on a metal frame. The hardware to secure the folding handle in place is plastic.. I'm not sure how long this thing is gonna last... Probably not the 25 years or so that my dad's conventional gas mower has lasted...

Review of Corded Electric Lawn Mower
We are very pleased with the lawn mower. It is light weight and easy to manage.

    light weight lawn mower
This lawn mower is very lightweight very easy to lift up on sloped land. At first I thought it was a piece of junk until I tighten down all the screws and Parts. I have a sloped Hill and it's very hard for me to mow and I've burned out three weed eaters in one summer. . But this lawn mower is very easy to lift back up the hill. It works just like a weed eater but with four wheels it works better for me.

Great Electric lawnmower, light weight, 15 inch cut..
Upon inspection of the Electric lawnmower out of the box I observed a small flaw in the mesh area of the grass catcher. The stitches were pulled loose from the frame. This only a minor flaw and I am handy with heavy duty needle and nylon line so I fixed the catcher and but it together in just a few minutes. The unit is much lighter compared to a gasoline powered mower. The unit has about 6 height grass cutting length adjustments. Lever locks in place just adjust your desired height and mow. This ... read more unit can be used as a mulch mower but I prefer to use the grass catcher and not let the cuttings remain in the freshly cut lawn. Just make sure to remove the mulch attachment before installing the bagger. That is very easy to do. My other joy was this electric mower is only 10 amps and can be run from my solar power system I built in my yard. So my grass can be cut for free and no pollution from gasoline consumption. Fantastic mower. Handles can be folded down for more compact storage for those having storage issues. The body is made of heavy duty plastic type material which will not rust. Another plus..

    Excellent, Well-Featured Electric Mower!
I am using this electric mower for a half acre yard, and it really does the job well! The mower was very easy to assemble, requiring only a phillips screwdriver for two screws used within the grass catcher. The design of the mower is excellent. It has a super-comfortable foam grip on the handle which will not rotate under hand pressure (no uncomfortable slippage)(see picture). Its grass catcher is easy to attach and remove, but most importantly you can easily lift the lid on the top (see ... read more picture) to check how full the bag is rather than just guess and end up with a clog. The handle folds down easily for storage thanks to the rather ingenious plastic locking bolts which can be turned by hand (see picture). It also has a handy clip for your extension cord so it does not get in the way. Be sure to follow the owner's manual instruction to tie a square knot (pictured) with both cords before you connect the extension cord to the power cord for the mower. I only wish I had gotten this mower sooner! No worries about stale gas or a clogged carburetor! Just plug in and go! I highly recommend this mower!

    Good inexpensive mower
If you have a small area to mow or want to spend less than the average price of a new gasoline mower, then this might be right up your alley. The price is significantly less than a gas mower. With that, it also means you get a little less. This is only 15" wide whereas most gasoline mowers start around 22" and get larger from there. With this you must also use an extension cord, meaning your mower is literally attached to something, thus limiting your range. If you don't mind the width & ... read more extension cord, than this is a good choice. The blade height is so easy to adjust with the single handle. It is a fantastic feature that is far superior than adjusting each individual wheel. There is a cord retainer on the lower handle that keeps the cords together & out of the way. It works very well! I thought I would be tripping all over the cords but since it slides side-to-side, it was usually out of the way. The power on this mower is good enough to cut normal grass. You can choose to bag the clippings or mulch. This mower also collapses down for storage. It is already small to begin with & it becomes barely noticeable once it is all folded up. Overall I would recommend this mower to anyone with a small yard or looking to go electric.

    Great Mower
This is a great mower. Easy to use and light weight cuts evenly and smooth. I have two types of grass; burmuda in the front yard and St Augustine in back. The one lever height adjustment makes changing the cutting height a breeze. My neighbor has had one for 10 years and has never had a problem. This is a well built mower so I'm hoping for the same.

    Awesome & Easy
Being newly divorced & never having mowed a lawn before, my ex husband actually did the research & he thought this mower would be the best one for me. He was right! It's easy to put together, lightweight & very easy to push. Clean up is easy too. For a small yard, its great & for those ladies who are afraid of the gas mowers, this one is perfect.

Great mower for a small lawn
They were sold out of this mower in my area stores, so the fact this came with free shipping was a huge bonus. This is the perfect mower for a small lawn. We live in an urban area, with a short spring and summer, so this is the perfect mower for us. It's extremely easy to use, lightweight, and the price was terrific. I would definitely recommend this for a small lawn.

    Great mower!
I bought this mower a week ago and have mowed my lawn twice. The battery lasts about 40 minutes and it definitely has the power to cleanly cut the grass. I was questioning buying one at first but after using my neighbor's a few times I was sold.

    2nd purchase
A very good machine. Does not do well in wet or damp lawns. But when dry, it is great. I tend to cut grass in early morning, this mower is powerful but is not as loud a gas mowers. Battery is interchangeable with other e-go products. The first was given away as a gift to a neighbor!!!!!!!!

    'The Leap to Battery Power!'
I was reluctant to join the rush to battery power but couldn't resist the Ego leaf blower. It operated successfully in leaves and snow so I ordered the bare bones 20" mower this spring. The small (2.0Ah) battery on the leaf blower drove the mower through my medium sized yard without losing torque or power. Are you planning to add a snowblower to your product line?

    18" walk behind corded mower
Mower was easy to assemble. One wheel a little wobbly but other wise fit and finish is very good. I very much enjoy the low level noise. The mower is so light that my wife can easily push it around the yard. A good buy for the price.

    First electric mower
The mower lives up to its reviews. I like that it weighs so little.

    Green Grass
The mower was very easy to assemble. Liked the automatic shutoff. very nice! the only down side to the model was no bag attachment to catch the cut grass

    Outstanding!
Could have used this mower 20 years ago. I have about 1/4 acre - not a huge yard, but not a postage stamp sized one either. I was hesitant to go cordless thinking no cordless mower would have the power and running time to handle my yard - the grass gets deep and is pretty thick. This mower can do all of the front yard and about 3/4 of the back on one battery (I just switch batteries with the key between the front and back so I don't run out of power on the last few rows of the back yard). Also ... read more love the fact that it is much lighter and quieter than a gas mower, plus the convenience of never having to run to the gas station or worry about spilling gas on the grass during refueling. It's worth every penny, I highly recommend it.

    Great product
Just as powerful if not more then a regular gas powered mower. Came with 2 4ah batteries. Use it commercially. I am able to mow on average 7 homes. (50x100) with both batteries fully charged. Comes with a mulcher. Trying to stay away from all gas powered equipment. No need for it anymore

    Works as expected
Pros: Large wheels Light weight No gas or oil Solid design. Nothing seems flimsy or cheap 5 year warranty - mostly unheard of with mowers Mulching function works very well Instant start and stop whenever you like Cons: Bumps around a lot if you hit uneven spots on the ground due to the light weight. .4 Acre lot (standard double lot) requires just over 2 batteries to fully mow without recharging if you move fast. The main problem is that the batteries require cooling before charging, so you ... read more can't recharge the first battery until just before the second battery dies. This leaves a bit if a gap to finish mowing. I ended up doing trimming and some extra yard work to fill the time. The reason I gave it 4/5 is because I completely unexpected the requirement to let the battery cool first before recharging it. They advertise 1 hour charge time, but do not mention 30 minute cooling first. If your property is under .33 acres, then you probably have nothing to worry about.

    Love it !!!
I was a little skeptical about a battery operated lawn mower but let me tell you this bad boy can do the job. I don't have a large yard but it does the job very very well. I did my front and back on two charges. I believe I could have done it in one but I cut the front yard but did not like the height so I cut it again so I'm sure one charge would have done both. Good job EGO.

Gas? We don't need no stinkin' gas!
I purchased the Ego 20" 56-volt mower this spring. I have 5 acres and use it for trimming around my house, detached garage and those place my 60" ZTR will not go. It was very easy to setup, the battery charged quickly and has lasted well into the 40 minute range on it's first charge. The mower is super light, folds down to limit the storage space in my garage. I would have given the features an excellent rating however the discharge chute is sort of clunky. I do not use the bagger and ... read more clippings sometime clump up in the chute and leave globs of clippings at times. Not a huge deal but not excellent!

    So far really great mower
I had a cordless black and decker mower for 12 years that finally conked out- it was a workhorse. The only current cordless mower that seemed to live up to what I had come to expect was the Ego. I was very reluctant to go with a brand I was not familiar with but after viewing some YouTube demos and good reviews I decided to give it a try. I don't have a huge lawn but after using it 10 times I'm very satisfied. It's lighter weight but works just as good as my old mower and the quick charge ... read more battery is amazing! Now to see how long the battery lasts, again I got 12 years out on my last battery but so far I have nothing but good things to say about this product.

Best Lawn Mover I've Ever Owned
Honda engine without the Honda price. The other components seem as solid as my old Craftsman Lawn Mower only with a better engine. I'm most impressed by how the mower does in wet grass without bogging down. It has a ton of power and is everything I am looking for in a mower.

Honda engine without the Honda price tag
Not available in stores in my area: behold there is a middle ground between the expensive Honda mowers and the competition. It arrived on time and it was very simple to assemble and get it going. It did not start on the first pull as advertised, but it did on the third try, and it was started on the first pull ever since. I've only used it twice, so I can't speak to durability. The engine is noticeably quieter and more fuel efficient than the Briggs and Stratton mower engine it replaced. I ... read more haven't used the bag yet, but so far I've been satisfied with the mulching blade. Very happy with this mower so far, and I hope it hold up well.

    works fine
It was easy to assemble this mower (although one of the bolts that secure the handle had fallen off). It started the first time. It does a very good job of mulching the grass, but only if I mow forwards; it leaves larger pieces if I mow backwards. I ordered (online as part of registration) the clippings diverter; it came within a week. The grass height adjustment has separate settings fore and aft. I have it set at almost max height (a bit over 3"); the cut is very even and professional looking.
