Quality built mower at a great price!
This mower comes with a great motor and one of the most well built decks I have seen from this class of mowers. You set the wheels and forget it too, Great! Pull the rope and go, and best yet the mower is built in America!

    Really nice inexpensive mower
Yes it is a basic mower. The wheels are small and "cheap" feeling and the deck and handle are pretty basic. But the Honda engine makes all the difference. It is quieter, more powerful and uses less gas than my previous low end mowers with Briggs and Stratton engines. It feels easier to use and nicer to stand behind. I dont know how long it will last, but if you are looking at a step up from basic this is a much better upgrade than "big wheels" on back.

    Everything you need
This Southland mower is a very basic lawn mower but if you're like me it is exactly what I prefer. It is a separate oil and gas tank so you don't have to mess with mixing the fuel, pull start works great, and a 21" deck which is about as big as a non-commercial mower goes. The height adjustment isn't the greatest but I almost never adjust that so its not a big deal. The mower is solidly built and I have no reason to believe it wouldn't last season after season.

    Very Good for small Yard
Mower is lightweight and controls easily. Not a great deal of chopping strength, but very good and easy to use for small yard. I keep the discharge chute closed,it seems to mulch pretty good. Nice and easy one-lever height control. Quite a bit of plastic odor when you first unpack it, in fact the box retains a lot of the odor, so get rid of the box or it will stink up the garage.

Easy to use-just have to get your muscles used to pushing!!!
Do not know the first thing about lawn mowers...This one was simple to put together, plug in, and just go. It is small enough that I can keep it in my house protected from the elements, without the gasoline smell. Even I figured how it worked with no problems. It cleans up quickly and easily. I am very glad I made this purchase. Thanks Home Depot!!!

    great mower
I am a senior citizen with health issues and so became unable to use my old mower: it was too heavy for me to handle. This one is light weight, yet did an excellent job of cutting. easy turning, easy handling - despite my hilly lawn. Easy storage, easy assembly. it was worth the long wait for it to become available.

Great mower and easy to use
I purchased this mower as i didn't want to deal with gas on a typical lawn mower. It works great and very easy to use.

    GreenWorks G=MAX Battery Powered Mower
I've been wanting a battery powered walk behind mower for couple of years, but they have been just a little out of my price range. This GreenWorks mower was just under $500, still a little expensive, but several hundred dollars lower than other brands. So, I made the leap and retired my 30 year old gas powered mower. The GreenWorks mower is great, it's easy to push, doesn't bog down in heavy grass, and the batteries recharge in just under 30 minutes. An added bonus is that the batteries work ... read more with an entire line of other GreenWorks tools.

    Good Little Mower
Low weight and good power. Came with two batteries.

    Great Mower
Cuts and maneuvers around a small yard really well. The two batteries last about 15 minutes each and recharge in 40 minutes (first charge is for 8 hours). Starting the motor was tricky (the button THEN the bar) but a call to Black & Decker was helpful and friendly. It folds up and I keep it in a closet (cannot be kept outside).

    Fully Meets Expectations
This mower does what it is expected to do. We have a small lawn and two batteries are sufficient to get the job done. When used within reasonable expectations it succeeds. Given my age and physical condition I find it easy enough to handle and the batteries hold enough of a charge to let me finish the lawn.

Electric is the way to go if you have a small lawn
Light weight(easy to manuver). Same motor(12A) as other more expensive models with bag(I don't use bag). Quiet. No gas. No oil. No pull start. No fumes. No vibration. When you have solar panels(30 Sanyo 225 watt panels on my roof-elec bill <$5 per month-GO SOLAR) it just makes sense to go electric and let the sun pay to cut your grass. Even if you don't have PV panels it's still a good idea. Bought a Troybilt elec(from the other BOX store), but it lasted 1 day. AC to DC bridge rectifier shorted ... read more out causing circuit breaker to trip. All the elec lawn mowers use DC motors. Go elec and forget the fossil fuels!

    electric cord hinders "excellent" rating
it took me a while to get the hang of walking around w the cord (and, no, it's no like vaccuuming since my carpets don't cover over 150ft of lawn) but after that period, I have nothing to say but great things about the mower. Of course I'd prefer to not have the cord to struggle with but it's better all around than the hassle of gas.

Would be nice if it could be made a little lighter, otherwise works great.
Mower works fine, I use it as a "mulching" mower and never have to rake up clippings - the clippings are so fine they disappear into the lawn. After 7 - 8 uses I found the blade to be losing some of it's sharpness and leaving the grass with some browning at the tips. Recommend an occasional sharpening to keep things at optimum. I like the height adjustment feature, much better than most systems I have had in the past.,

    No more gas engines!
After yet one more gasoline powered mower bit the dust I'd had it....no more hassles with gas engines! That left electric. After some research I decided on the Earthwise 20 inch corded. It was a good decision, at least so far. (Two uses to date). It has sufficient power for my needs (about like a power push mower), and the rear mounted bag is good sized. Best of all it starts with the push of a button! It's a corded mower so you do have to deal with the cord but that's been a minor adjustment. I ... read more haven't used the mulching device so can't comment on that. All-in-all a very satisfying experience.

    Well built mower
I've only used the mower three times, but it performed well and I don't foresee any problems. The only improvements I feel are necessary are these: add one more setting to make the handle shorter, and allow the handle to pivot somewhat towards vertical. I'm 5'10" and handle seems a little high, even on its shortest setting. There are some situations when mowing where it is necessary to raise the handle somewhat which can't be done with this mower because the handle is fixed at one angle.

    Ease in handling
The Earthwise 20 in corded electric lawn mower I purchased online from Home Depot is light to push and maneuvers around and under bushes easily. The mowing height adjuster is right on top of the machine, and is very easy to use, and the bagger is a snap to attach. This machine also does a great job of mowing. I'm a 70 yr old lady, and would happily recommend this product to anyone needing a lawn mower!

    Better than expected!!!!!
Lightweight, Briggs and Stratton engine and very easy to use. 2/3's of an acre and I'd recommend up to at least a 1/2 of an acre. Excellent product for the cost. Well done Home Depot! Extremely pleased with purchase.

Good mower, Fast setup and start
I read the reviews and noticed that some reported problems starting while others reported that the mower height settings were dropping. I found that this started in three pulls the first time when the primer button was depressed three times and the mower height held without any issues. Having used a 26 year old mower for the last 15 years, I'm hopeful that this one works as long and is as steady as ole reliable. I love the chassis design improvements and no more fumbling around without having ... read more full power. Who doesn't want full power all the time? The primer button is a wonderful addition and reduces the number of pulls from 7+ to 1-3 pulls each time I start it. Hopefully, I can look forward to another 26 years with proper maintenance.

    Light and versatile
This mower is so light and versatile, mowing with it is actually easier than with more expensive (and trouble prone) self-propelled mowers. I'd forgotten how great it was to have a mower that I could actually lift off the ground if it became necessary. Try that with one of those 75 lb self-propelled monsters.

Very pleased with the Worx 19 in. 13A corder electric mower.
The mower was easy to use. Just take out of box and your ready to go.

    Easy breezy no trouble!
I bought this a few weeks ago because I had just about everything except the WORXS lawnmower. I have 2 weed eaters, one blower, one saw with the extender pole, the screwdriver and driller set. I love these products I get the best value and these work so hard for me - I put them through the mill and they last - I would not have any other brand than WORXS!! Ease at my age is why I buy this product oh except durability - I guess I could just go on and on with these products!!
