Best stabilizer on the market
I worked as a parts person in one of the largest Stihl dealers in the U.S. We researched all the products extensively and Ethanol Shield is the best on the market and is a necessity when running ethanol fuel in small equipment. I use it as a stabilizer in straight fuel as well as mixed fuel for 2 cycle engines. For equipment that won't start or runs rough, use Mechanic in a Bottle.

Not much to say measure out what you need then add to pump gas.
From my experience, it works.
When I buy gasoline, I add a dose of this and a double dose of Sta-bil fuel stabilizer. My understanding has been that Sta-bil prevents oxidation of fuel during storage and Ethanol Shield prevents damage related to ethanol. I cannot verify either of those claims, but what I can say is that I have stored 2-cycle mixes for my blower and trimmer and straight gasoline for my Honda mower for more than a year and even after that duration I've experienced no fuel related problems. the first or second pull and the 2-cycle motors all start and run as when the fuel was first mixed.
I will say that I drain the fuel from my mower and trimmer for the winter months (I use the blower year round). Still, you cannot argue with 1 or 2 pull starts on year-old fuel.
Which product is responsible for how much of this I cannot say for sure, but I will say that I have found a combination that works well so I'm sticking with it.
