    Very Good Brush
These are very good brushes. The best brand that Home Depot has to offer. They will last several uses if used, cleaned and stored properly. Sadly, paint brushes are, in my humble opinion a bit overpriced anywhere they are purchased.

    Love this little brush!
I'm a home DIY'er, so I can't speak for professional painters. But I love this brush. It lays the paint on smoothly. The bristles are flexible. Clean-up is a breeze, much easier than natural bristle brushes. I wouldn't have thought this brush would be se great.

    Wooster 1.5" brush
Wonderful brush. Makes nice sharp lines and edges. This is my second brush in this line. I will buy more as I need to replace my brushes.

    Best All Around Brush.
Best brush with best clean up. Can be used on oil base or latex. Also, with stains or varnished and all paints and stains wash up great. The chinex/nylon combination is one of the best ive seen yet. I am a professional painter and I use this brush EVERYDAY. Cutting in, trim work, staining decks, and all facets of painting. This brush is also unique because it holds its stiffness. This brush can be used for years with proper care. Wont ever pick up another brush after this. Try it out and tell me ... read more what you think.

    Great brush
The brush makes all the difference. Using the cheap, throw away brushes make clean-up easy but they leave lots of brush marks and is like using a straw broom to paint compared to the Purdy brush. Cut-in is lots easier and the finish looks like it was sprayed on. Worth the money!

    Boy you're Purdy!
I have used many paint brushes of varying qualities but it was always tricky to accomplish a sharp and evenly coated painted edge...until Purdy came into my life. You will immediately notice that this is a high quality brush from the look and feel of it. I'll never use anything else now. Thank you Purdy!

The only brush for me!! Cuts WAY down on taping
This angled brush is the best for painting corners and edges. The only thing I tape anymore is the carpet, that's how good it works. My belief is your paint job is only as good as your brushes and rollers - don't go cheap, or you may regret it! Note that I am not a professional, but I do a lot of painting rooms for myself and family members.

    Just fine
The brushed worked just fine for what I was doing...only issue was clean up...seemed that the bristles did not stay pointed after washing them....but worked just fine later.....

    Innovative Idea - Great Value!
Just received my brushes and haven't started my painting project...yet. However, they seem to be a great value. Can't wait to try out this new shape, bristle quality looks good, and great price.

    Nice brushes
I used these brushes with some paint I also got. Paint sticks to the brushes nicely. I didn't have any loose or lost bristles during the paint job. The bristles are nice and tight in the socket. The handle has a nice grip. Doesn't fatigue the hands too much. The weight of the brushes was nice. Nice and lightweight. Paint went on smooth with the brushes and no noticeable brush lines. The smallest brush was the best for corners and edges. Cleanup was a cinch. Paint comes out of the brushes very ... read more well with very little residue, if any, left making reuse possible. No rust on the metal parts thanks to stainless steel manufacturing. Appears to be long lasting for many paint projects. This has been the best brush I've ever used.

    Actually versatile too
Very well constructed brushes. I tend to wash and reuse my brushes, so I like good quality brushes that will stand up to a few uses. The stainless cuff really helps in this area, I've had other cuff rush and ruin the bristles if you wash them. The bristles are very nice as well. The smooth synthetic helps keep the bristles from sticking together, keeping your bush strokes even, with a good paint distribution. It helps with cleaning as well. The handle is well coated as well, which gives you a ... read more good grip, and again cleans well.

    Decent basic brush set
If you're looking for a basic paint brush set for interior or exterior surfaces, this is a solid value option. I've used all three to paint various walls and trim around the house and have had no issues. I've cleaned and re-used two of them at least three times each and they are only now starting to fray and shed a little bit. Not bad given the price. If you're seeking super high quality brushes that can be washed and reused a lot, this is probably not the set you're seeking. Otherwise, this is ... read more a solid product.

    Very smooth paint brush
I bought this paint brush to paint a bedside table for my granddaughter to take to college. It was a very smooth paint for furniture. I was very pleased with the finished project but more importantly my granddaughter was very pleased.

Great Little Brush for the $$
Purchased (in-store) this brush to paint the trim on my house exterior. Paid $5, brush was on sale at the store. Brush is a bit soft, but works great on flat wood. Would not recommend using on grooved shakes. Cleans up nice, and usable during several days of painting.

Good Quality, good for trim work
Worked well for trim and in tight spaces. Did not clean up as well as I had hoped even with High Gloss Latex paint.

    Great brush
I used this brush with latex paint for the ceiling and trim edges in my master bathroom. Overall, the brush did a good job on the tight corners and along the edges, applying a precise and even coat. It is lightweight and balanced well so I could handle it easily. The long handle helps as well and no bristles came off the brush. Clean-up was easy and it seems durable enough for many more jobs.

    A very good brush
I used this Wooster brush to cut the corners on an accent wall in my family room. I used it with latex paint. I like angled brushes and this brush felt good to use. The handle was just slightly narrower than my other brushes, and I think that made a difference in how it felt in my hand. I don't have huge hands, so that may be a consideration before buying. Larger hands may make this uncomfortable, but for my average sized paws, it felt great. It held paint well, cut well on the corners, and ... read more cleaned up nicely after I was done. I have used Wooster brushes before and this was another quality brush.

    Now What's Not to Like?
A very good brush [at least comparable to Purdy]. I use primarily for painting exterior brick mold and window sashes with high-quality latex semi-gloss paint and the result are terrific. Have also used for cutting in larger items with oil-based primers and finishes ... again, great results. Have not used for clear coats. Anytime you spend more than $6 for brushes you want to keep them for a few jobs. And if you clean them within 6 hours [longer if wrapped and put in freezer], they won't ... read more disappoint. Definitely a re-buy ... I always keep four on-hand, two each [one cleaned, one NIP] for oil and latex. [I have the 1" for for lite dividers as I do a lot of french doors.]

    Fantastic, well worth the price!
I've used Wooster's brushes before, but never its stain brushes. Simply put, this is at least as good as anything else I've used from Wooster or any other brush manufacturer. After two hours spent staining my deck with it, I can honestly say it's a new favorite tool. Sure, it's a bit more expensive than a typical paint brush, but this isn't really meant to be used as a standard paint brush. At four inches wide, it's the ideal width for staining 2x4 boards, and with its plastic handle, it remains ... read more light in the hand even after hours of use. No fatigue at all. A couple things that became readily apparent as I used it were that: (1) the bristles are very soft, with little elasticity. This aids staining by allowing smooth strokes and preventing splashing or flicking of stain, which is thinner than paint and might be harder to apply with a standard paintbrush. I was amazed that just about everything on the brush ended up right where it was supposed to be. (2) it doesn't pick up dirt or debris. This may be in part the result of using stain rather than paint, as stain isn't particularly sticky, but the lightweight, thin bristles probably help too. All in all, I was beyond impressed. I hope I can keep this brush in good shape for years to come, but if not, I'll simply get the same one to replace it.

Great brush for use with oil based paint applicaions
The Wooster Pro 4 in. Flat White Bristle Stain Brush is one of those brushes you take special care of because it will last for years. It has a nice feel in the hand and the long thick bristles make for a full brush not like those less expensive ones. I used mine to put a touch-up coat of polyurethane on a hardwood floor and liked how the brush loaded up and dripped less than others. The brush needless to say performs better than cheap ones and didn't throw bristles over the work. While theses ... read more brushes are more expensive, if cleaned well they will last for years and give you a better paint job, too. Its big and thick with a full head of bristles so you want to keep it around.

    A good brush
In my last DIY project I was amazed at how well this brush performed in applying deck stain. The amount of paint that this brush holds without dripping is fantastic. I do not like painting but this brush made staining a deck almost enjoyable.
