A good brush for the price.
This brush was the right tool to get the job done cleanly and efficiently, and the long handle made it easier for me to use.

    Quality brush + Quality Finish
A good brush is an investment. If your goal is a quality finish in less time than a quality brush is what you need. Lesser quality brushes hold less paint and often loose bristles in the finish resulting in paint & time wasted. The Purdy brush holds paint and allows for precise flow in tight areas such as trim and cut-in work. A quality brush is an investment in painting. This particular brush has been thru numerous painting jobs. Be sure to use proper clean-up and the brush will last a long ... read more time. Brush is well balanced and feels good to hold for long periods of painting time.

    Best brush available
Always use Purdy brushes. This angle brush is a good cutting and detail brush. Firm and maintains shape and good edge. Lasts and lasts when maintained properly.

    As expectred
It is pretty good quality for the price. Always a balance between spending a lot on a brush for reuse verses a throw away and I have no answer to that. All I can say is this applied product to the place it needed to to go. Probably the biggest factor is the hand that holds the brush and not the quality of the brush.

    Purdy brushes are the best!!
It's too bad that HD will not be selling any Purdy products any longer!! I will not use any other brand of brush -- so, I'll shop at the other stores that carry Purdy. If HD didn't hate Sherwin williams so much they could still be selling the finest paint brushes in the world!

I used this brush to paint my bathroom baseboards, and it's just the right size to cover the area. The bristles stay together - unlike some brushes where the bristles poke out and get paint where you don't want it to be. Brush cleans easily and is comfortable to handle.

    Great brush
Used oil based varnish and cleaned brush will paint thinner. It worked great the second and third time after cleaning.

    Nice Brush
Although the cost is a little more than your average brush, it is of good quality. I've used these brushes on interior doors, mouldings, and wainscot and they do not leave behind brush marks. They clean up nice, too.

    excellant brush
I applied gel paint to an exterior steel door and the finish was flawless. Previously, I had attempted the same job with a cheap polyester brush that resulted in so many brush marks that i had to sand the door and start over.

    Best paintbrush ever!
This is my favorite angled brush. I used it for cutting in. The bristles are not too stiff and move well allowing me to skip putting tape on the walls. I can get a nice, even line quickly!

    Love this little brush!
I'm a home DIY'er, so I can't speak for professional painters. But I love this brush. It lays the paint on smoothly. The bristles are flexible. Clean-up is a breeze, much easier than natural bristle brushes. I wouldn't have thought this brush would be se great.

    Made in USA Quality
This brush, when used with Behr paints, gives you basically the best combination in the world. It is handmade in Oregon with high quality wood handles, copper stem, nice nylon bristles and you can actually see the name of the person that made it on the brush. These people take pride in their products and it shows. The brush rinses cleanly so you can reuse it many times and it does not shed bristles like the cheaper chinese products. They are a great value. It's excellent for trim. The chinese ... read more products are only good for 1 time use, for applying asphalt sealer for example etc. It also comes with a resuable velcro cover which keeps the brush moist.

    Excellant tool!
This is one of the best $10.00 I've ever spent. I always worked with cheap brushes and had no idea what a difference a good brush makes. Like any good tool, this one is no different. It holds paint well, makes a nice smooth finish and does not leave any hairs in your work. Easy to clean as well. Clean them well and look after your tool and it will last you a lifetime. Money well spent.

    Professional Results
while contracting on exterior residential projects, always used the economy brushes and learned how to get by with those results. Since using Purdy brushes, I get a better Interior results and application of the paint is more consistence of control as i apply it. Angled brushes worked out perfect, like I expected it too. this allowed me to "CUT" in the edges saving time and money not having to mask and tape fresh paint. Clean up was a breeze, soap and water. The bristles maintained there shape ... read more when dried and storage was back in its sleeve. Nice

    Amazingly SMOOTH, Streak-Free Finish!
After trying countless paintbrushes over the years, I've finally found what I believe to be the best brush out there. Leaves a beautiful, smooth, streak free finish. The ergonomic handle is just an added bonus.

    You won't find better
You won't find a better brush for painting trim. The angle and tapper are so cleanly cut they can glide along edges with ease. The soft flexible rubber handle makes it easy to hold without your hand getting sore, and the shortness of the handle keeps it from banging onto unseen covers as you work your way around window & door trim. All this and made in America quality, who could ask for more!

    Chinex is nice
This is my first try at chinex and I like it! I read elsewhere that sometimes chinex gets soft after the paint is loaded for a while. I don't find that to be the case with this Wooster. The bristles are fairly stiff, but not too much. It is just right. My application was with satin latex wall paint. I'm looking forward to trying this with something like stain.

    Nice Stroke, Good Hand Feel
This brush is very nice to use. The size is perfect for smaller spaces and it still holds enough paint. The way the handle is done, you don't get tired holding it. It looks like a normal handle, but it does feel a bit different in your hand. The bristles cleaned well and did not come off while painting.

Only brand of paint brush worth buying
Wooster brushes make painting easier! I've been painting for over 30 years and the Wooster brand of paint brushes is the only brand worth buying. The chinex bristle works with all paints and gives a velvety-smooth finish with no brush marks. I use angle sash brushes when working on furniture or tight spaces and straight brushes when cutting in walls and ceilings. If you clean your brush well after using, it will last forever. Pay a little more now and get a LOT better finished product.

    Greatest Brush I've Ever Used!
Needed to paint my hallway, so used this brush for most of the work. The paint clung to the brush nicely. When I painted, I had even strokes with the paint staying put. Other brushes would show brush strokes. This brush did not. I paint well with no mess on me so when the brush was getting full of paint, I cleaned it. This is where this brush outshined every other brush I have bought! Once I got all the paint out of the brush, I wash it. This brush was clean as a whistle! No leftover paint in the ... read more bristles. I definitely recommend this brush. I love it!

    Very nice brush
I am extremely impressed with how smooth this brush was. Great control on edges, and holds paint really well. I used it over 3 days, and two different colors. It cleaned up nicely to be used the next day. I'll usually throw away a brush after a day or two if it does not hold up really well, but I expect to use it again this summer and I would buy more even if it gives out after a few more days.

    comfort and quality!
These brushes are sure comfortable in the hand, and they DO work with shellac and paint. the bristles are both firm, yet flexible enough to get in those corners. This are a quality brush and should give you many, many years of use if cared for. Just make sure you clean it very well between uses and wrap it in brown paper, or its handy package after the cleaning.
