    Got the job done!
I destroyed this brush painting truck bed liner in a cargo van. The roller brush that came with the bed liner simply didn't work that great so I went with the brush, which help up as well as can be expected considered I abused it for a tough job.

    Paint Brush
Using an oil based paint to prime rusty spots on a steel roof. Simply is not worth the time to clean a brush anymore. If you spend 20 minutes getting the mineral spirits, cleaning the brush, and discarding the mineral spirits at even $18/hr it costs $5.40 in labor plus the cost of the mineral spirits. Get a new brush! It isi a throw away world.

did the job I asked it to do
I used this to repaint and apply multiple coats of lacquer on a table I had was refinishing and it worked great and was super easy to wash out especially since I was using black paint on the table. If I had to do it over, I would make sure I had removed any loose fibers, but otherwise this was the perfect tool for the job.

    angeled brush
Good angled brush, makes cutting in much easier. I think they are overpriced but otherwise... they do a good job, just what they are supposed to do... the small (1/2 inch is an idea size for tedious finish work)

    worth the extra few bucks
Perfect for painting trim around doors. Don't mess with the cheap brushes, it will never look good.

    Excellent value and execution
Home Depot performed great. No question on the value of the product. Rated the Quality top relative to the price paid, although acknowledge that this was not high-end carpet (but believe excellent quality for the price)

    Excellent paint brush
This paint brush holds the paint well without lots of drips or splattering. It also produces few lines in the paint and most of those disappear as the paint spreads. Clean up was also very easy with this brush, making it easy to reuse over and over again--a real cost saver.

    Will Last A Long Time
This paint brush is not cheaply made it has a stainless steel housing and the bristles are soft so it reduces the dreaded paint lines. As long as you clean and dry it after use it should last a long time I always wrap my brushes in newspaper to keep the bristles in good shape just make sure it's dry.

It pays to buy a quality brush
I was dreading staining the treated lumber around my patio roof. I decided to use a higher quality brush this time. It has made a world of difference. Even through stain is runny compared to other paints the brush absorbed the stain and allow me to load up the brush. This in turn reduced the amount of time dipping the brush back in the pail. I have several other Wooster brushes so I knew this brush would stand up to the quality behind the Wooster name. I also wanted a brush that was easy to ... read more clean because I hadn't planned on finishing the job all at one time.

The product lives up to all the claims.
Not only does the brush perform brilliantly but it is easy to clean. Once cleaned you would think it is new as it is easily restored to its original condition. It retains its shape. I've used the brush at least ten times, cleaning it between each use, and each time it automatically dries to its original shape. I would buy this product again and again in varying sizes.

    They last.
The Purdy brushes are made to last. If you clean them well they will last a long, long time. Some of my Purdy's as 20 years old - they look like new. The only one I ever threw away was one I loaned-it came home in tough shape. The fine hair brush makes it easy to "cut" a straight edge WITHOUT buying painters tape. They do not leave paint "lines" so it is easy to get a smooth finish on a flat surface. They may cost a little more; however, the quality is well worth it.

Can't buy a better brush & worth every penny!
Purdy just makes real, quality, paintbrushes! Quality in the way grandpa talked about it... Not the way we think of it now. It can seem hard to pay a little more when you are a DIY'er, but these brushes give you long lasting performance so they prove thier worth to you time and again. Money well spent! These brushes always feel good in your hand, and are comfortable to work with. Trust me, after 10 hours you WILL feel a difference! I've worked around a lot of pro's and looked to see what they ... read more use. The only brush I've seen in thier bag has been Purdy. I also love the fact that they are 100% made in the USA. It gives me a lot of pride to know we can still make tools of this caliber! PS. My wife even LOVES to paint with these brushes!

    Love it!!!!
I will never paint without this brush again! I'm constantly painting in my house & this brush made painting trim & edging around ceiling and trim so easy. I didn't tape up anything.

    Somewhere Bob Ross is Smiling
I didn't use this to paint "happy little trees", rather I used it to touch up some "happy little trim" around my windows/doors. Since the bristles didn't fall out and the paint went on smooth I assume that makes this a 5 star brush. Paints a narrower strips than a 2" brush, but a wider strip than a 1" brush.

    Excellant tool!
This is one of the best $10.00 I've ever spent. I always worked with cheap brushes and had no idea what a difference a good brush makes. Like any good tool, this one is no different. It holds paint well, makes a nice smooth finish and does not leave any hairs in your work. Easy to clean as well. Clean them well and look after your tool and it will last you a lifetime. Money well spent.

    good quality brushes
I got this polyester brush in addition to a china bristle brush, to use on some trim work with latex paint. Just like the china bristle, this one was very easy to use. The 2 1/2" size is really versatile for trim, baseboards, crown molding or cutting in. What I really like about these brushes is that they fit well and are comfortable to use, which is important. Quality was great with no loose bristles. Overall, very happy with these brushes.

    Makes painting doable
Painting is not my thing, but if I have to do it, I do it with high quality paint and brushes. This brush doesn't make me a 'painter', but it makes things easier and less painful. The brush holds a nice edge and makes cutting a lot easier than with 'standard' brushes. A quality of all Wooster brushes is the clean up...they always clean up as good as new. If you're new to painting and are wondering if you really need to spend $10-15 on a brush...YES.

    Angle Brushes Most Versatile
I've always used angle brushes. When I'm not using a roller, you'll find an angle brush in my hand. I usually use a 2" brush but I have a LOT of trim to paint and felt the need for something a little beefier, that holds a little more paint, but it still had to be an angle brush. This Wooster Pro was perfect! It's not only wider than my old 2", but it is thicker (hence, ability to hold more paint). It cleans up really easily, too, partly because of a tip I learned years ago--wet the brush before ... read more dipping into the paint and it will keep the paint from wicking all the way up the bristles into the metal binding. I'll never give up using angle brushes and I'm glad to have this one in my paint toolkit.

    Good quality
I selected these brushes to apply additional layers of polyurethane to a butcher block table top I was refurbishing and was very pleased with the results. The bristles did not shed like the other paint brushes I used originally and the brushes provided excellent coverage. I especially like the handles. They are very sturdy, durable plastic that felt good in my hands. Easy to clean. The package states they are for emulsion paints, specifically designed using a unique filament proven to give up to ... read more 50% greater coverage compared to a standard paint brush. They have a lifetime guarantee. I was very pleased with these brushes.

comfortable grip, and no lost bristles!
I used these brushes recently for the edging and trim work in a bedroom. I was very pleased with them. They seem to hold the right amount of paint, and the handles are very comfortable to hold. But on top of that, I didn't lose a bunch of bristles along the way. And when you're painting, there is nothing more frustrating than to have to pause to scrape individual bristles off the fresh paint! Generally I prefer using an angled brush for cutting in, but these were easy to manipulate. They were ... read more also easy to clean when I was done.

    "Good" brush set
These are an okay set of plastic handled with "good" quality bristles. The extra thick handles and courser bristles work great on jobs like staining. For interior painting, I did not care for the thicker handles when doing cut work as the brushes were slow to respond and left brush marks. If you're an occasional DIY painter, these will get the job done just fine.

    Great brush
High-end brush to cut in trim lines. Perfectly straight results. I would definitely recommend this paint brush to all.

    Use Good Brushes
Purdy 2-1/2 had the flex in bristles that I wanted. Excellent finish with 3x thick sealer.

    This is a great brush.
I have been painting almost every square inch of walls, doors and trim in my house and have gone through several brushes. I bought a cheaper brush first then on my next trip to the store I bought a Purdy. WOW! quite a difference....much easier to trim next to ceilings and next to no brush strokes on trim and doors. Great brush!
