    Works like a champ!!!
Works like a champ. I bought the sprayer tonight to spray the ceiling and walls. Once I got it setup and primed, (easy by the book) I began, keep in mind this is my first time using a sprayer. I finished my bedroom ceiling in no time. I decided to totally mask/tarp the hallway (this took more time than painting) and applied the paint in about 10 minutes. Clean up was took about 30 minutes (easy by the book). I can't say how pleased I am with the results.

    Great buy for the price!
I have used professional sprayers in the past, but I bought this one because of the price, and I'm impressed. Used it to paint my house to help cut back time of rolling and did not want to spend a lot on a sprayer. I have never been a fan of Ryobi, but this product is worth the money for the do-it yourself projects. Easy to use, good pressure, and parts or versatile with competitors parts. It was missing, or maybe I lost it opening the box, the little tip holder for the gun, I used a Graco one I ... read more had sitting around and it worked fine. I used thick latex with no problems. With proper care this thing should last.

    This sprayer works flawlessly.
This was my second airless paint sprayer, so I was already comfortable with how they set up, operate and clean up. An airless sprayer isn't the easiest tool to learn to use, and I've no doubt that some of the negative reviews are attributable to this. Still, the frequency of negative comments made me think twice before ordering. Once received, it was easy to put together, the instructions were clear, and it started up with no difficulty. I was very impressed with the spray pattern/intensity, and ... read more this sprayer made short work of house painting. Clean up was simpler than with my previous sprayer. I'm pleased that I made this decision to purchase it.

    Excellence!
This product exceeded all expectations! I am a homeowner, and decided I would spray paint the exterior of my home instead of rolling paint on. This was the first time I'd ever used a spray painter. I was a little intimidated. However, this little gem performed perfectly! Simply read and follow the instructions. The unit runs quietly. A big plus! This Graco, along with Behr Marquee one-coat paint, made the job easy, and saved me over $1000.00 by doing it myself.

    Excellent Product
I bought this sprayer to paint a privacy fence and am so glad I did. Advice given to me was to roll and brush and that would take forever. The fence is old but the wood is in good condition but the prep pressure wash did gouge the wood in some places. However, the sprayer filled the paint in well. There are over 250 boards, 2 inside gates, and one outside gate and it took me approximately 3 hours. Cleanup took about about 30-45 minutes due to first time usage. With a little experience, probably ... read more take 15 or so minutes. I've used sprayers before but not quite like this one. For the price, an excellent investment. Just follow the instructions. I plan on painting the exterior of my house and several interior rooms with this sprayer in the future.

    Makes painting a pleasure
The Graco Project Painter Plus is hands down the best electric paint sprayer I've used. The spraying unit is a nice size for portability and the paint pickup tube fits into a 1 or 5 gallon paint can so you don't need to fill up the gun with paint. Another feature I must mention is that this is electric. You can use a great quality spray gun without hassling with noisy air compressors. Cleanup is a breeze, simply attach a garden hose to the paint pickup and clean it out in a few short minutes. I ... read more highly recommend this sprayer for jobs big and small.

Did good for my first spray gun experience.
I used the spray gun to paint the wainscoting in my kitchen (about 30 linear feet). Used latex paint thinned per the manufacturers instructions. The finish came out nice, but I think the spray was on the light side. Being a first time user I was not sure what to look for. The instructions did a decent job of trying to explain what to look for to get the pattern and amount set correctly, but I think it takes a little experience. The only thing that concerned me was there did seem to be a light ... read more paint dust created. Though this may have been caused because the spray volume was set too light. I had an exhaust fan running and wore a dust mask so no harm there, but I did not cover everything so some paint dust may have collected on the floor and appliance tops.

    It Works Just Fine
This spray gun works just fine with exterior latex paint. I used Behr Stucco paint slightly thinned with water and 50 psi of air pressure. The stucco looks beautiful. There was very little over spray. I have no complaints.

    Great little sprayer
I've been a commercial painter for 30 years and was always skeptical of these inexpensive sprayers. I needed an hvlp sprayer where an airless would just not work, too much pressure and overspray to deal with. I have used this on 3different jobs in the past 6 months. I had ornate metal railings and some open tread stairways and walkways on the rear of an office bldg. to spray. The Wagner worked perfectly right out of the box. You can adjust it from an inch to ten inches for pattern Spray. If ... read more anyone complained this sprayer it was probably due to incompedence rather than the fault of the sprayer. If this sprayer would have died after the first job I used it on it would have still been money well spent.

    My new best friend
I always hated painting. Results were always disappointing. Hated the cleanup of brushes, and even worst, cleanup of rollers. This puppy is making me happy. Yes, you need to practice, but no, you do not have to thin down your latex paint to water-like. One or two table spoons of water in a cup of paint does the job. It creates mirror like surfaces. Clean up is a breeze. Less then 5 minutes. Loving it.

    10 times faster
Did a great job staining my daughter's fence. A lot better than I expected. Sprayed 15 gallons of stain. Worked like a champ. My daughter walked behing and brushed out any runs. Low noise and easy cleanup.

    The Perfect Machine
Scared was my first feeling when I took it out of the box and then I questioned myself "can I do this?" After reading the manual twice and walking myself thru the procedures at least three times before I actually turned it on I found out that this machine is very easy to operate, clean, and store with very little to no problems. I am amazed at how well it performs. This is one great machine for beginners. I know I got my moneys worth

Amazing machine, I love using it!!
I bought this machine because it was small and affordable, but was worried it might not perform...how wrong I was!!! It puts down great lines, super easy to use and it's not hard to clean up afterwards. Clean up takes me a little while but I try to keep it looking new. Only hard part (not that hard though) is changing colors on the job. You need to have a water hose with you and I have a big cooler that I pump or pour rinse water into. The machine is great...a couple more jobs and I will order ... read more another one, one for blue and one for white so I don't have to clean and change on the job. Can't recommend it high enough. Tip: use only non-ethanol gas, motor will last longer...oh yeah, it cranked on the first pull and has every time since.

    Good sprayer
I do a fair amount of painting and sometimes need more than just a roller to be efficient. I bought this sprayer and couldn't be happier. As long as you pay good attention to the instructions you shouldn't be have a problem, though the entire process takes a little getting used to. I didn't buy a larger more expensive model simply because I work alone and don't do large-scale projects and this size sprayer keeps up with my pace. I mostly spray water based paints on residential applications.

    Set-Up tips
The 515 tip that comes with Grayco Sprayers is fine for most all paints and primers except thin transparent deck stains. For thin material GET A SMALLER TIP. Important Setup: Begin by almost closing off the pressure valve, then spray a short column. Look for a paint bead along the edge of the column, which indicates the need for more pressure. Increase pressure a little and try again. When the beads are gone you are in adjustment for that particular paint. Do not turn up pressure too high or ... read more you will get overspray. With the pressure just right you'll get a nice clean spray pattern. And you'll get more paint on the wall than yourself. :-) My source: a Grayco Technician at Home Depot's Corporate Office

Exchanged a much inferior product for this and WOW....What a difference.
My previous two sprayers (brand name begins with a W and ends with an R) did not work correctly right out of the box. It was the second sprayer from (W****R) that I owned and was never completely satisfied. Why I kept buying that brand I will never know. Now I have this sprayer (X5) and boy what a difference. Got it home and had half the exterior painted in 3 hours. Clean up was as easy as the setup. I highly recommend this product to those that need a quality sprayer for the occasional weekend project.

    Great little sprayer
I needed something to spray inside kitchen cabinets I was refinishing. Brushing is so time consuming in tight spaces. This sprayer worked great. I thinned down Kilz2 and then 2 finish coats with latex semigloss. I didn't have any problems at all. It was well worth the money. I think that, with the volume of air generated, it might be a bit hazardous spraying oil based products. The air pump also works great filling air mattresses.

Easy to use and clean up
Great paint sprayer for small projects and can accommodate most paints! It has a wide spray pattern for painting closet doors, furniture and even walls (although it would need to be filled more often for larger projects). The narrow spray pattern worked great on 10 pictures frames I needed to paint. It covered every nook and cranny of these ornate frames and was so much faster than using a brush! It gives a quick even coat every time. I practiced vertically, horizontally and tried different ... read more width patterns before starting any project. I found out quickly that it is easy to use and the instructions are clear. Sprayer is very good quality. It is also a breeze to clean up. I will be spray painting instead of rolling or using a brush in the future, if it's possible!

So glad I stuck my neck out
I cannot tell you how pleased (thrilled) I am with my new Homax sprayer. I was not sure that my compressor could deliver the required cfm at required pressure. I have a Porter-Cable 6 gallon, 135psi compressor that can deliver 2.6 cfm at 90 psi. and it worked just fine. I thinned lightweight joint compound to the "pancake batter" consistency, and without any experimentation or practice went at a 8 ft x 8 ft wall and it took me less that 5 minutes. I used the 6mm nozzle tip and set the compressor ... read more at 70psi. I knocked down the sprayed wall almost immediately, and it looks professional

Easy enough to use for a beginner
It was easy to put together, easy to use, easy to clean. I am a complete novice to texturing, so I had to keep shutting off the compressor because it would get above the recommended 70psi in just minutes (Im sure this was user error), but otherwise, I have no complaints.

    High quality Works great
I had 3 areas I repaired with new sheetrock that needed popcorn to match the existing ceilings. The largest was 100 sq ft and the smallest was 10 sq ft. The Homax sprayer did the job for me. After painting the ceilings, the areas I did are not noticible.
