    Love this stuff
I use this stuff when installing my window air conditioners. This stuff is PERFECT for completely sealing around the unit and then peels right off in the fall when it's time to take them out. Stops drafts, rain, and insects from getting inside. LOVE IT

    One of DAP's best products
Seal those leaking windows in the fall and peel it out in the spring. Also works for a temporary adhesive, stick and peel it off later.

    BEST PURCHASE EVER!
I HAVE BEEN USING THE PRODUCT IN MY HOME FOR THE LAST 10-15 YEARS. AND WITH THAT SAID, MY ONE FAMILY HOME IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD, AND IS A THREE-STORY HOME, DRY BASEMENT, ALL BRICK. EVERY YEAR I PEEL IT OFF THE WINDOWS, BESIDES THE BASEMENT WINDOWS. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO A FRIEND!!!

Good product if you follow directions & use common sense
The description states that it is a "Self Leveling Sealant" I applied this product between asphalt driveway & garage. At first I wasn't sure if it was gona seep into cracks but few min later not only did it do its job but also filled hair line cracks & it was a good feeling as I added more knew it filled cracks & not just stop leveling above the crack. Use common sense if the crack is 3/8 or more wide & over 1" deep stuff a foam backer rod after 1st applying a light bead. Since it says self ... read more leveling, Just assume its not meant for vertical use. However in a retaining wall I drilled a 1/4" hole every few inches on a 3' brick wall & plugged holes as it started to run out. I did a test tryout where ants were coming from between hardwood floor & plaster wall & Walla! The adhesive bonding between the materials was strong & also ended the draft. Price is steep but have patience & apply thin layers every few min for best results. When on sale I stock up & have bought this product for others to tryout & they have had great results.

    Excellent Crack Filler
This sealant works great... It even filled a 1" wide crack with no shrinkage and no cracking. I have yet to paint over it but the product sais it can.

    Horizontal only
It does run into cracks which is good for flat repairs. Not helpful for corners or vertical repairs.

Excellent product to stop air/energy leaks around the house!
GE Silicone II caulk is an excellent energy saver. The ease of install matched with the anticipated extended life provides our home with years, maybe decades, of air tight weather proof caulking around all our patio doors and windows.

    I'm never without this stuff
I have used this for years for construction projects, inventing, repair, and prototype fabrication. It is the sealant I always wanted silicone to be: tough, adhesive, rubbery, and gap filling. I always have a tube in the shop. I use it for structural adhesive as often as for sealant. As an adhesive, the initial grab is poor, so you have to keep things in place. I've also used it for automotive repairs, when I didn't need the high grab of a contact cement. Full disclosure- I haven't used this on ... read more construction projects very much, so I can't testify about longevity, sun resistance etc. But it's paintable, and it seems like it would do a great job. My cautions are really the flip side of what I like about it. This has lots of working time, and is easy to handle. For the first day, however, it remains sticky, and is pretty weak. Don't be fooled. The strength builds up over time- it becomes very strong, tenacious, and flexible. Curing is triggered by exposure to water vapor, so a slightly moist environment speeds it up some- but thick sections may take days to reach full strength. It sticks to everything, except waxy plastics like PE, PP. But- that stickiness and easy texture makes it easy to get on your to your clothes, shop bench etc.. Be thoughtful and work slowly. Nitrile gloves are a good idea- unless you like black, sticky fingers. I apply it to small projects with popsicle sticks or bamboo skewers, work over papers and try not to touch it. Some folks are sensitive to Urethane- it has never bothered me. It foams up slightly- maybe 10%, which is usually a great thing for filling in gaps, but can leave your brilliant caulk gun artistry a little bumpy. For sealing, it is just bulletproof. Cleanup with mineral spirits seems odd- it never worked at all for me. I found that 91% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol seems to work much better, and can even be used for smoothing the surface of the uncured sealant. Clean up right away- otherwise no solvent works. Trim after it loses tackiness, but before it gets to full cure. Hint for re-using the tube after a small job: After the first job with a new tube, cut the tube tip off removing the pointy end altogether. Then let some sealant ooze out, maybe 3/8" past the end of the tube. That oozed sealant will cure into a tough and flexible handle. If you need more sealant later, pull the sealant handle slowly. You can usually get a plug of cured sealant out of the nozzle, even a few weeks later. That opens the tube for re-use. BTW, their PL urethane construction adhesive is also one of my favorites, a must-have, for rigid joints and good gap filling with odd material.

This product is a game changer
We have been doing roofing for over 20 years. We are GAF certified installers. Been using Karnak SBS Ultra and or Black Jack.. PL S30 is a product any roofer can stand behind. Long lasting product.

    Use it for everything.
Been using this product for years here in Colorado and have just recommended it to some friends who live outside of Woodstock,VT. Not only do I use it for roofs but customs built showers to seal the HardieBacker seams, plumbing issues, calking the fins on new window installs, sealing cracks in foundations and so on. My elevation in Colorado is 7K' and the sun is pretty brutal on building materials. Unlike silicone you will not be able to rip this off only after a year and I never had it leak. ... read more Can't think of anything it doesn't stick to yet although I've wanted to try it on Tyvek. The only thing you need to be aware of is that it takes twenty-four hours to set up so it can be a little messy. Rather than try and smooth things out if I add too much I wait until it dries hard and then trim off the excess. If you use a battery calk gun watch your speed as I have blown apart the tubes from the pressure.

    Great Product, limited availability!
Hi, I've used this product for a number of years. The only problem was that I had to travel too far to get it or pay rather high shipping to get it. It's very handy to order it online and pick it up at the Home Depot near me. Keep up the good work. Dan

    Tough caulk for tough jobs
This polyurethane caulk is about the best you can get for adhesion and durability. I've used it to seal exposed cracks in a house foundation and it's held up to several seasonal cycles without a hint of peeling or losing its grip. Highly recommended for those jobs where you want a tough and lasting seal.

    Great Product
Bonds very well to Metal Roofing, & Brick Cast. This Urethane product will flex with metal and not peel or crack under climate changes.

worth the price. wish it was stocked in the store.
I wish Home Depot had this stuff on the shelf. Good product and with having to wait a few days for shipping .

    great product
works great for cracks, easy to use, sealed the areas easily. shipped fast. This is the only product I would use to seal cracks

    Easy to apply
Excellent adhesion and pliability. The only drawback is paint beads up on it and will not cover. Try Dap acrylic latex plus silicone caulk for the next best adhesion and pliability for outdoor temperature extremes that can be painted.
