    Kilz and mold/water stains
I love this product! I have used it for years to cover water stains, ink, some kind of black tar and most recently black and green mold. I did use a bleach solution to kill some of the mold but the concrete blocks were just stained with years of mold as well as the drywall. I put a coat of kilz on there, let it dry and then painted over it. I sold that house with mold under all that kilz and 3 years later the new owner has no idea there are mold stains under all that paint! Awesome product!

    Yes You Can Countertop
This product delivers and does it in a big way. Last year I was looking for low cost solution to my cracked and stained 1990s Formica countertop. After a light sanding, I applied two coats of this primer to my countertop. Then applied my paint sponge technique. Finally topped off with high gloss finish. Almost a year later my counter still looks gorgeous. This products grips and grips hard to surface. Nothing gets used like a kitchen countertop. This product works. Genius. I love it. No one can ... read more believe it could work on countertop. But it does. Yes you can countertop.

Excellent elimination of stains and odor
I used kill odor control formula in the daunting task of cleaning our teenage sons bedroom when he went to college. We Plied it to the ceiling, walls and floor prior to painting with the final color and replacing the flooring. It is a miracle product and eliminated the smell of locker room body oder and cigarettes. I will continue to use kill on every he improvement project we do from now on. I was skeptical but miracles do happen and this product a God send. Thank you so much for helping is ... read more return the use of our he to us.

    Best paint ever
This is hands down the best paint I've ever worked with. It's amazing how little it smells. I didn't get a headache from painting a small room, the colors are beautiful, it goes on smooth and evenly, just impressive all around. Plus they have a free color help thing on their website which gives you ideas and advice from real people! I'm already playing with new colors for our next room. I highly recommend this paint!

    No smell
Pros: Doesn't have that terrible paint smell! Nice color to it. Cons: Does not go on as smoothly as other paints I've used. A little sticker than I'd like.

    Excellent Paint
I love Colorhouse paint. When I read other paints have all sorts of chemicals in them and anti-freeze I went looking for a better product and found Colorhouse. We are buying to use on our kids rooms this month. Great colors also.

    A first i was skeptical
I needed a light color paint to cover our daughter's bedroom. It was a bright pink and purple since she was a baby. She needed a new look entering into double digits. (10) Her name is Cyan, so she wanted a cyan colored room. I was afraid that any color i bought wouldn't cover in 2 or 3 coats. I spent the extra money for this brand with primer in it. What a relief!!! it looks beautiful and only took one coat. Thank you Behr for putting a smile on her face, and making life easier. Lloyd

    Works very well.
Works well for intended use (bare drywall). I used a 12" roller on my walls and ceiling. It dried fast enough to back coat it where I started off in the same paint job. I waited until the next day for color. Two coats of primer two coats of light colored paint, and worked well enough for only one coat of a darker colored paint. It doesn't soak in 6 gallons did 3 rooms at 13' x 13' with ceilings. Great coverage.

    Fantastic product
I have used Kilz products for decades and they never fail to impress, however, Kilz Premium reached new heights this past weekend. I had to paint a bedroom that had been coated with screaming pink on the walls AND ceiling and the thought of bleed-through was a big concern. Kilz Premium covered the revolting pink and turned it to straight white in just one coat. Even better, when I did the finish coat, Kilz Premium "grabbed" the paint and provided an even, streak-free finish. Water cleanup was ... read more very welcome. Two thumbs up.

    kilz premium
i've used this kilz a few times. i've done cement , wood, and some metal, the smell was not bad at all, it does dry fast. i used it on a basement cement wall and with 2 coats i did not even use paint, it worked that well, one suggestion i done my 2nd time using it is to have a tint of the same finish color, outstanding product

    Kilz solved our problem
We had sheetrock issues, we pulled down the wall covering on our walls and the walls was covered in dried up mold, we dry wiped the residue and then we went to our home depot and they suggested Kilz premium. IT worked!!!!!, it was totally gone of the dried up mold. Thanks to yall, we do not have to take down the sheetrock. I can always count on HOME DEPOT for my home repair needs. THANKS

    Satisfied
This product worked reasonably well. I wish the description had been more clear about the fact that it has a distinct texture. However, it covered thickly, and very close to how much the barrel indicated it should. It certainly had almost no odor which was great since we had to apply so much of it to cover all of our old lead painted walls.

    Great Coverage
We tried this on a 3bd/2ba 1940s fix-up with some lead paint and mildew concerns and it worked great on both the interior and exterior. When we opened the pails, there was some separation with a thick base and about a half inch of liquid on top, but it mixed out well and applied easily. The ecobond covered the walls really well and accepted the satin topcoat well with no streaks or bleeding through. We were going to prime the kitchen cabinets, too (they were painted and in poor condition), but ... read more we decided to replace all the cabinets and left a natural finish. We also were planning to contract for exterior vinyl siding, but it was easier to prime with ecobond and paint with behr ourselves.

    Best option for lead abatement!
I had purchased this product from the manufacturer 2 or 3 year ago and my painting contractor continues to use it on historic properties. This product actually penetrates lead paint and chemically changes it to lead phosphate which is harmless. You can apply the product, wait the required time and then sand to bare wood if you want. When faced with building scaffolding, wrapping (multiple times) a 3 story Victorian with specially EPA approved plastic, and multiple hazmat suits for painters, this ... read more was definitely the only option for me. It's a good idea if you're a diy'er and have lead paint, use this product. If you're a contractor working where EPA agents can give you a nearly $40,000 fine, this stuff is priceless. It's also priceless for your customer when compared to EPA approved paint abatement.

    This stuff is so durable!
I used this on our tool shed which belonged to my dad (I'm 59 years old) So this "barn" as we call it has lasted an incredibly long time. We've painted it twice since we "inherited" it about 30 years ago. It was covered with rust back then. We wired brushed it, washed it with TSP and slapped Rustoleum Rusty-metal primer on it and it lasted for over 20 years. When we couldn't find the same product 8 years ago when we wanted to re-paint, we bought another brand that didn't look or work as well. We ... read more are happy to find this Rustoleum product again because we know it will outlast the other brand by a long shot. Hopefully it will be the last time in our lifetime we have to paint this shed. I trust this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone wondering how good it is. Oh, did I forget to mention...you don't have to paint over it. Just leave it as is. It works and looks great! PS: I guess we'll have to leave a message in our wills about what product to use to paint this long-lasting metal building so our children and grandchildren will know how to keep their inheritance looking good! :)

    Great primer
Mixed easily. Covers well. Good grip. Would buy again.

Best darn primer I have ever used on rusty corral pipe.
Covers in one coat. Easy to roll on and takes paint very well.

    Very Impressive!
After pressure washing a treated lumber deck that had been previously stained about 8 years ago but now was badly in need of resurfacing, I applied this product in accordance with directions and the cracks and splits began to disappear. This is a thick primer that has a milky color but dries clear. Then finished with the Restore 2X stain and you'd think the deck was new. Only issue is that the primer, being thick, is a little tricky to use on vertical surfaces as it tends to run. Recommended!

    A deck prep miracle
Stripping the old stain off my deck is such a pain, so I decided to try the restore primer. It was so much easier to use. I put down one coat which dried quickly and then I put down one coat of the restore 2x. My deck looks great and I am very happy that it was a much easier process than normal.

    roll it on
I put this on a one year old deck that I keep at my campsite before coating it with a solid stain. One gallon goes a long way. My project was ten foot by ten foot (100 square feet) and I only used about a quarter of the gallon. The stuff is simple to apply and goes on thin, just roll it on. Preparation was easy, I just swept the deck off with a broom. Make sure you use a solid stain or paint and not something that is translucent with this product.

    Great Primer
Great primer for rusty metal or metals that has just surface rust and needs a repaint. Of course prep is the key to a lasting job, so wirebrush or sand thoughly clean then prime. The prime produces an smooth finish any quality overcoat will adhere to. Have used it on everything from plant stands to outdoor funiture. works great everytime.
