    product easy to use
I used the wrap on pipes coming out of the well pump to the house that where exposed. it has been 19 degrees and I have had NO problems. I would recommend this product to anyone that has any exposed water pipes.

    Fits well with surrounding landscape
Product was delivered promptly. Seams are well sealed and insulation seems adequate. Looks good in surrounding landscape.

    Great Product, Not Great Color
This product fits great and does what it's supposed to do (keeps exterior pipes from freezing). Unfortunately, it is not the tan color shown in the picture. It's more of a manila envelope (gold) color. I would have picked the green one if I'd known. Also, for some reason it took two weeks to receive it, so not thrilled with Home Depot's delivery.

    Helped Hot Rifle
The foregrip on my rifle was getting smoking(literally) hot when shooting the in the hot sun. I put about 6 inches of this around the foregrip where my support hand rests. Even after 100 rounds of .308 semi-auto firing in the hot sun the rubber did not get hot at all. A little green camo spray paint on the rubber and it blends in the the gun furniture now. Problem solved!

    Superior to other similar products
Highest R rating I could find. Installs easily and quickly. The self adhesive is very strong.

    Very Pliable.
This pipe insulation was very easy to install. The self adhesive strip sealed tightly and firmly. It was especially easy to go around bends without having to cut "notches"

    Does the job
I had ice dams forming in my gutter above my porch so I loosely placed the cable in the gutter and plugged it in for a few hours to melt the ice. I went back later on a clear day and did a proper install. I only plug it in as needed because it seems to drain quite a bit of power. My only gripe (and it's very minor) is that the brackets used to attach the cable to the shingles don't hold very well as the are. I had to bend the little barbs out with a pair of pliers to get them to hold—a minor ... read more inconvenience. They still work fine.

    Works like a charm
If you have any ice dam problems this a sure fire fix. Need to plan for a separate outlet to power.

Use for a heater hose on my RV water hose
I got this installed on my hose and it seemed to be working very well, however before I had a chance to really test it out and use it, I had to disconnect my water hose and shutoff the water, due to frozen water in the line. I will be hooking it up again, once the water line has thawed. The hose I had it installed on already had frozen water in it so that really didn't help. And then, the water supply line froze, so I just diconnected the hose. We had -20 temps and now we are still in the 20-30 ... read more range, so I may have to wait until some warmer days to test this out again.

    Excellent Product
I looked at a number of different insulation pouches to protect my sprinkler backflow pipes. It fit perfectly and looks great. For the price, it was almost 1/2 the cost of the other similar pouches I looked at.

    Multi-purpose
I used this to seal the seams of my pipe insulation. I had some leftover. It is great as weatherstripping as well as a wrap on my tools that don't have grips (my shovel and rake)!!!

    Helps Prevent Frozen Pipes
We don’t hit hard freeze in this part of CA very often, or for very long. Despite this, I still find it a good idea to protect some of our exposed 1” diameter PVC exterior water pipes. This product comes pre-scored down the 6’ length for easy splitting by hand with not extra tools necessary. Once split, it can easily be wrapped over exposed pipes for added freeze protection. Since this product does not hand a self-sealing feature, I highly suggest securing the wrap (method of your choosing: ... read more zip-tie, tape, etc…). I prefer to cover this foam with 2.5” 324A tape to prevent sun damage & it adds a little extra protection. Since this product does “snap” over the pipe, securing it is at your discretion. Product holds up well on its own for a few seasons depending on sunlight exposure outdoors. Also find this to be very hands for a number of other household uses ranging from craft projects, added padding on the kids bikes, padding on my boat bow rails, flotation for fishing nets & poles …. The list of uses is limited only by ones imagination to use something for an alternative use at a fraction of the cost.

Found a new use for these babies!!!
I have a backyard ice rink at my house. Every year, keeping the liner in place on the boards is a real challenge. Some years I have used Clips, staples, clamps. None of these solutions seem to work. I have seen some people have used pool noodles, but it seems like that can be super expensive, especially when there is a lot of liner feet. I figured, that these things could serve the same purpose....and boy was I right. I just used a small srew with a washer to fasten them in place and the hold ... read more the liner perfectly.
