Easy to install. Instructions are easy to follow. I would recommend to others. Very small for the amount of water it can eat.

    Good quality, good performance
I had installed a tankless hot water heater from another manufacturer, which failed after 8 years, and decided to get what seemed like a somewhat more expensive, but better quality and higher capacity system. So far, it looks like I made the right choice, because the output has been uniformly hot despite the relatively cold water coming in (this is in the Adirondacks, so the real test will come in winter), and the temperature is easy to adjust. Since I was replacing another tankless heater, ... read more installation was relatively simple. The wiring was in place (three sets of #8 gauge), but I had to upgrade the three circuit breakers from 45 amps to 50 amps. Adjust the mounting screws on the wall, reconnect the water connections, connect the wires, and I was done.

    Nice unit
Pretty basic install for average DIY person. Unit works well so far after 2 months in service for a family of 5. Only complaint is with the warranty . Touted as having a lifetime warranty on all parts. But thats after you have sent warranty card in within 30 days of purchase. Documenting the licensed plumber & electrician that installed it! Having licensed pros do the install would have added way to much to the cost, and really isnt necessary! So hopefully I dont need parts for a long time.

    Excellent Water Heater
This tankless heater works great, I live in the PNW and it can get cold up here. This water heater has no problem keeping up, I set the temp to 120 degrees and works just fine. Just look at amazon for a better deal, I bough an open box one for about $270. Nothing was wrong with it, still had all the paper work and was never installed. My only complaint with the water heater is the plastic control knob is cheap and feels flimsy. Installing is easy for any DIYer, just use common sense. If you are ... read more looking at buying a tankless water heater, read all the requirements before and make sure that it will work for you.

    Good buy saves space.
Pulling the wires was the hardest part but after that the rest was easy. Oh wait taking the old 80 gallon tank was the second hardest part since I didn't wait for it to cool to drain it. But wiring the tankless in and running the plumbing was easy. I did put in a way to clean it with two other valves and some T-Brass. All in all a two week job for me to do it all even with fixing the dry wall. I will warn others it takes some getting use to NOT mixing cold water in showers since we have it ... read more set to 110 in DFW Texas area. No fears of getting scalded, after changing that habit it works great.

    Excellent Product !!! LIKED
Stainless Steel Covers looks Awesome !! Housing heating element very solid. Wiring is a little tedious , but is good to leave the work for Proffessionals. You'll save time and money.

Installed it myself and found it easy. Looks very classy and works beautifully. Love the digital readout and the stainless steel finish. Would buy it again and recommend it. Smaller (narrower) than my old one, so fit in the same space. I have a log cabin with a very small bathroom, no basement or attic, so needed something that would take up little space. Very happy with my purchase.

Very small and it's hard to believe that it could deliver hot water for showers, but it does. Nice and sleek looking with a Nicole digital read out I had it installed for my summer home and the real test will come when there is a house full of people in just a few short weeks. I will give a further update at the end of the summer. So far so good

Tankless is the way to go with a large family
After having success at my previous home with a different brand of tankless hot water heater, there is no way I would ever go back to a traditional tank for a large family. I have 8 children and a normal tank will not sustain hot water for more than a couple of showers and then you have to wait for hot water to be produced. This unit has enough throughput for sustained hot water as long as it is needed running thru at least 2 faucets at a time. We can use both bathrooms for showers or run one ... read more and laundry, etc. Someone with basic abilities to install electrical lines and water supply will have no issues performing the work themselves. I have had to contact support twice for assistance. ECOSmart support personnel have never asked whether or not this was installed by a licensed contractor or not. My only issues were the "flywheel" being stuck just after installation due to residue in the line shortly after installation and a blown fuse. Both repairs were completed by myself and totalled less than $1.

    Eco tankless hot water heater
Nice item but was unable to get home depot to install it. Got tired of talking to them over a 3 week period, lots of promises but no action. Finally contacted local Professionals on Monday and we were up and running the same day. This unit is great, and compact, lots of hot water when needed. highly recommended .

    Work as advertised
I manage 40 unit condo complex and I have installed (will need hire licensed electrician and plumber) about 10 different tankless water heater units. And this one works as advertised. Simple and intuitive installation once the licensed electrician allocate enough power to the unit. By the time the electrician and plumber's cost are added the total will probably about 2x or 3x the cost of regular water heater. HOWEVER, the saving in electricity and disaster prevention (like when conventional ... read more water heater bust and cause flooding) is well worth the project. Because the unit is tankless there is no worry about flooding when it stops working.

    Good Product
It works like its suppose to. Heats water real good. Only one drawback, you can't run but one fauchet at a time.In other words you can't run two showers or two of anything at the same time. But I no longer worry about the hot water heater in the attic busting and flooding my house.

    Great Purchase
My plumber had no problems installing the unit and my electrician was in and out in less than an hour. It has been working perfectly - hot water at all points when needed.

    Happy user
Had ours for about a year now. Installation was not that difficult. However, did call in an electrician to complete the installation. Make sure you check to see if you have room in your circuit box for the three 50 amp breaks it needs. Had to move one of my breaks to keep these in line together. Unit works as advertised . There is plenty of hot water through out the house. Took us a couple of weeks to adjust the hot water temp to get the right water mix when multiple devices are used at once. ... read more Inlet water temp makes a big difference. We have our own well with a storage tank. Because of the storage tank the water in the winter is much colder. Still have plenty of hot water, but can only run one shower at a time in the winter. With that said this still is an excellent product. Nice to gain the space in garage used by the old hot water tank. Don't expect a big savings on your electric bill. It took a couple of months to see the difference.

Works great as a backup unit
Normally the tank water heater in our home serves our purposes, but we get regular house guests and didn't want to upgrade to a larger unit so we bought this smaller point of use water heater as a back up when we have visitors and is has worked great for that purpose and the installation was pretty easy as well. Price was fair and its met our needs. That's a win-win in my book.

Love this water heater. Be sure to use the presure fittings when installing. Instructions tell you that is the design. I think it is an excellent product. I also have a 27 kw in my garage appartment. It solved the issues with hot water because i used it very little and a small amount of sulfer content when kept in the tank heater over a period of time smelled. with the tankless it dont get heated until used. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you eco smart the name fits the product.

    Works great
Kitchen sink is sooo far from the garage water heater it Took to long before it got warm. Biggest problem was getting the wiring through the attic down to the sink. But it was worth it. Have the same problem with the bathrooms. Just to far from the old water heater. Plan to install a larger model to serve the baths now I know they work.

Easy to install. Water connections are compression, not pipe thread as I expected. Works great!

    Very impressive
This is a very impressive little unit. This was the only demand heater I could find that wouldn't pop the circuit breaker on the 30-amp circuit that I was forced to work with. That really was the selling point for me-- that I could replace a standing tank-type hot water heater with a little on-demand heater. While that can't usually be successfully accomplished because a 30-amp on-demand unit doesn't heat the water enough. But here in Hawaii our cold supply water is already close to 70 degrees ... read more F, so the 45°F rise at 1 gpm is enough for our kitchen sink. I rated the quality as "average" because I have no information that it is better or worse than what might be considered "standard", which is also undefined. But it worked perfectly as soon as I connected it.

    Hot and ready
The unit works very well. Although I sent it back to get the eco 27. The 36 requires a sub panel even with my 200 amp service in my case. Talk to your electrician and the manufacturer BEFORE deciding on your model. I am very happy with mine. Hook up cost 550 dollars from my electrician. It requires a 60amp breaker next to the unit and a kill switch. The plumbing costs I'm unsure of because I had a lot of other plumbing done at same time. MY house is small But because I live in the northeast the ... read more eco 27 is recommended due to the cold winters causing very cold water entering the system. The larger the unit the more resoviors. The hot water is instant. Not sure how it will affect my bill but I can say regular electric hot water heater has to keep 40 gallons at 110 degrees 24 hours per day. I use this one on average 25 min. Per day. Then it's completely off 24hrs aND 35min.per day. Buy it, you'll love it. Water is Hot and steady, water pressure unchanged. Great pressure. Very Hot.
